Your most disapointing TS restaraunt at WDW was?

Ohanas was the worst! The food and service was horrible. We didn't expect it since it usually gets such good reviews. Maybe we just had a terrible server.

Mama Melrose was the worst for us. The server disappeared forever, after messing up the order. Once the food did arrive it was certainly not up to what we were expecting. We may, someday, give it another shot but it will be a long time.

Mine was Sci-Fi Dine-In. I was so looking forward to this on the trip. My DH and I had the Reuben. After my DH took two bites, he turned to me and said, "I like the one you make at home better." (and I didn't ask if he prefered mine better.) The DS's loved sitting in the car, but my DH found it very umcomfortable.

Whenever DW and I do experience bad service at WDW one of us will say to the other with a chuckle--Remember the Video. What I mean is in every WDW planning video/DVD they say EXPERIENCE DISNEY"S LEGENDERY SERVICE like no other.:rotfl:

Sci-Fi... it was an interesting restaurant, but the food needs to SERIOUSLY be improved for us to go back. :(

Tony's at MK last week all the food was so salty we had a hard time eating it.

What did you order? (So I know what to avoid in March. We have one ADR there, and if there are specific things that are really salty we may skip them entirely)

CRT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The server was wonderful and very sweet but I have never felt so rushed at a meal in my life!
The princesses acted as if they didn't care (except Alice!)
I was dissappointed in the food.
a) selection not great
b) the four of us had to share a very small appetizer
c) no bread:confused3
d) food came out cold

We paid ALOT of money for this meal(lunch by the way) and for the most part hated the experience!

Whispering Canyon was more than we expected; the food was excellent and plentiful, the server was attentive, the antics were spot on. Hate to hear of these bad experiences.

Likewise, we felt Garden Grill was the best "bang for your buck" character meal we've had on any trip; all the characters came by twice while we were there, and the food was good. Not gourmet, but good.

Marrakesh is one of our favorites! Granted, I'm no Moroccon expert, but the food has always been tasty, and the service was excellent. As a matter of fact, when we last went there, my wife tried the lamb and really didn't like it... the server noticed and brought her a different entree at no charge.

Now, for my worst experience - Artist's Point, hands down. The steaks were okay, not great. The sides were cold, and not very good... and the salad was downright NASTY. But worst of all was the service. Slow, inattentive, and the only time that any Disney location has ever made me feel "looked down on."

We don't dress up at Disney (we're on vacation!), but we did wear nice jeans and such, no shorts, t-shirts, etc. I felt we were treated cooly... and while I hate to use the word "contempt", it seemed the AP staff would have been just as happy for us to not be there.

I don't mind dropping $100 on a good steak dinner for two. I do rather mind spending double dning plan credits on a poor experience.

This has become our new benchmark for bad dining experiences - "Well, that place was bad, but at least it wasn't Artist's Point!"

Le Cellier - it's not that there was anything wrong with our meal; it was fine. However, I expected much more than that after reading all the hype on these boards. I actually liked the atmosphere and we'll probably try it again just in case we went on a bad night.

I was also very disappointed in Marrakesh. I was expecting interesting flavors and spices and my food was very bland. We won't go back.

Chef Mickey's - I have never seen so much grease in eggs and bacon. :(

The runner-up is Concourse Steakhouse. ICK!!!

My family didn't enjoy 50's Prime Time Cafe. I think the meals here are way to small for the price (typical american- ha!!).

I just didn't like the food at MM. DD and DH enjoyed their meals, but the sauce on my Spagetti fra Diavolo was brownish and tasted off. I got sick the following day, but I can't say for sure it was MM that did it. WCC was not terrible, but it took a terribly long time to get seated, and was very blah. Skillet was not great. The milkshake and desert was delicious, though.

We went last year for dinner. The mice and godmother came around and that was nice but for 2 TS? The food came on plates that looked like they were Kmart overstock (no offense but I guess I expect better in the castle). My steak came cold and a little scoop of veggies. The kids had your standard kid fare but as far as us, ish. No need to go there again.

1900 Park Fare. We thought the food was awful. We went somewhere else to eat after we left.

For me, Garden Grill, hands down was our worst meal. hated the food, but the character interaction was very good.

Wow... I'm glad to say that our worst WDW dining experience is actually not run by Disney. Our worst would probably be Rainforest Cafe at AK. (Granted, this was several years ago.)

We only had 1 day in AK and were trying to make the most of it, but thought that a nice sitdown meal at lunch would help us rest up... but we got TOO much rest. We were in there for what seemed like a long time (well over an hour) and yes, we had ADRs. The food was really so-so (my crabcake lunch was disappointing, DD's mini-burgers were beyond average... can't remember the rest). Service was PAINFULLY slow (over an hour without appetizers or dessert) and not at all attentive.

To top it off, DS (just barely 4 at the time) was afraid of most of the "animals" and we had been seated in the gorilla area! So we didn't even enjoy the atmosphere (not the fault of RC).

This was one of only two TS meals we had during that trip (budget trip) and it was a HUGE disappointment.............................P

I forgot about Garden Grill. That place comes in a close 2nd (behind Lunch Buffet at Hollywood and Vine in '01) as the worst tasting meal we had at WDW. pirate:
