Your job?

I've been a substitute teacher for 20 years so there must be something about the job I love!!!! :teeth: :bounce:

I work for Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) as a Human Resources Specialist. BOR is an federal angency under the Department of Interior and my agency "brought water to the west." Some of our bigger dams are Hoover Dam and Grand Coulee Dam. Lucky me gets to staff the place and meet a lot of Engineers. I love my job and am very thankful for my job. It only took me 4 months to get it after I graduated college, my ex-boyfriend still hasn't found a job.

I am a Viewer Services Representative for Scripps Networks, which owns HGTV, Food Network, DIY-Do It Yourself Network, Fine Living and Shop at Home Network. I have worked here for almost 5 years this coming September.

I basically answer phone calls and e-mails that come in from our viewers who are looking for information regarding the shows that we air.

I basically love the job - there is on thing I do not care for, though. That is the nasty people who call or write in. Now, I have worked for insurance companies, and the people that would call in usually had a legitimate complaint and a reason to be a bit upset. The people I deal with on a daily basis now can be down right mean and rude, and I just don't get it - it is just television. Other than that, I do love my job, and I have learned alot about the business and met some interesting people along the way.

I work in the copy center for a large Boston area law firm....and I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like the overtime...quite abundant, but I hate the job. Secreataries, paralegals, and attornies have no clue as to how long it takes to copy something. They think they can just drop something off and have it back in an hour. And of course, everyone loves the copy people when they have rush that needs to be done.

I am an administative accountant for the largest law firm in my area. I love every part of my job!!! The hours, the building, the dress code and money. I am still in college working on my masters so this job is giving me the experience I need. I am a business major.

I worked in advertising 12 years before I quit to be a SAHM. This past September I took a job at my kids' elementary school running a 5th grade reading program called WEB (We Enjoy Books) and also supervising the playground during lunch hours. I love the WEB program and most of the kids, but am not crazy about the playground supervision (although I do have a fabulous tan from mid-calf to ankles from wearing capri pants!). I only work about 3 hours a day M-F with all the same days off as my kids. It's going to be nice to be home all summer.

Once my youngest is a little older, I will probably go back full time to advertising or interior design (my other degree).

My job can be a drag sometimes...
I am the compliance coordinator for American Eagle Airlines.
I administer the Affirmative Action Plans, verify fingerprint based background checks, internet police (yes, I see what employees are looking at....) coordinate e-learning, conduct station audits.

Working for an airline has its advantages, but trying to get on a plane to go to WDW is absoultely the worse. I have to buy a ticket. Course, 1st class to Paris round trip is only 300.00 so I cant complain too much right? ;)

Would trade it all in to be a CM in character. Preferably Woody, Tweedle Dee or Dale.

Real estate lawyer in a large law firm. I've been here 19 years. As a partner, it's nice not having a boss (except, of course, for all the clients); the working conditions are great. The constant pressure to bring in new clients is stressful, however.

I work in the Agency Field Office for State Farm Insurance. The best job in the world!!! We oversee the Agents in the state of Vermont.

Now, the million dollar question of the day is: Do YOU have enough life insurance in your family;)

I dislike my job very much, however, the pay is great and the benefits are awesome. We all have to do something in life, so I might as well make some money at it until I find something else to make me happy.

I'm a preschool teacher. The program where I work runs from Labor Day to Memorial Day so I get summers off to play with my kids. I love my job. I don't get paid much, but it's rewarding in a lot of other ways.

I work in corporate real estate for a large national retailer. I like my job and know that I am lucky to have it - its a small tight knit group of people who specialize in this and very few retailers out there anymore so I thank my lucky stars to have gotten in here. I used to be a commercial real estate broker who site selected for national retail companies and I always wanted to go to the other side and actually work for those companies nationally rather than regionally. I now get that chance and have been doing it for four years.

I am currently a SAHM. Before that I was a pediatric occupational therapist. I worked in an elemtary school, as well as a home based early intervention therapist. I have to say I really loved my job. I am thinking of returning on a part time basis, but I am afraid I will use all my patience for other peoples children and not have aby left for mine.

I'm an administrative assistant for a large Pharmaceutical company. I LOVE it here....just need to finish my degree in order to move up the ladder. The good thing about being an admin though.....when heads start getting cut...the admins are typically the last to go b/c people do not know how to be self sufficient in the corporate world. :teeth:

I'm an office mgr/bookkeeper for a mid-sized company. I have a great boss (I report directly to the owner of the co), the pay is excellent...more $$ than I ever thought I would make, I have a 5 minute commute and I get great rewards for my efforts such as a yearly bonus etc. Some days are great, some are not so great but overall, I really like my job.

Stay at home mom- love it!

Was a supervisor for a large school district's daycare program. Loved it for the first 6 years, and the last year was a nightmare.

I used ot be a reporter, but I hated it. So I switched to retail and LOVE it. I was shocked, really. When we move (two weeks from today!!!) I'm going to apply for a management position with my company (it's a chain) and also at The Disney Store.

And, in my down time, I've got 20 chapters of my first novel written. ;)

Well, my main job is as a SAHM which most of the time I love.

I also work part-time at Toys R Us. I do several different things there, but mostly work in the "R" Zone which is where we have all the video games and such. I really like the people I work with, get to spend time with my Dad and oldest nephew as they work there too. (My Mom also did but quit to focus on her craft business) For the most part I enjoy our guests, but get the ones who make me want to quit on the spot at least once a night. They are in turn made up for by the little kids who are just happy to be a TRU and make me smile too.

When I am not doing all of that, I am also a consultant for Tastefully Simple, a home-based direct sale company. I enjoy this too, wish I was doing better at it, but oh well.
