We're not talking characters here, just food, for two adults. What was your favorite and why?

The Crystal Palace because I am a sucker for an omelet station.

Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom
#1 - I love the Tonga Toast.
#2 - The price is fairly inexpensive and since I belong to mypoints I save my points for Rainforest gift cards. So our breakfast usually comes out close to free.

I tihink you need to ask yourself if you are looking for buffet or a la carte breakfast.

MICKEY WAFFLE!!!!!! I get these at Cap'n Cooks at the Polynesian. I love them with a side of bacon. I know they carry the Mickey waffles at other locations but I've only gotten them at Cap'n Cooks.

We're all adults & not looking for characters either. DH loves a good breakfast. Our favorites were Fresh, Spoodles & Boma. Now that Spoodles is gone, we're hoping to love Kouzzina's breakfast.

Wow! I was going to say we also liked Boatwright's, but I just looked at allears & noticed that they are no longer serving breakfast. 2 breakfasts shot down.

My vote goes to the Kona Cafe at the Poly for it's Tonga Toast :thumbsup2

Though after looking through the food porn threads and reading over the menu for the Grand Floridian Cafe, I will add that to my breakfast must try list for next time.

1900. Yes there are characters there and it's a buffet, but it's great. They also have a made to order omelette that's fantastic.

Crystal Palace hands down...and its all about the kid station...breakfast pizza and cinnamin sugar french toast!!! I love being an adult at Disney World!!!! :woohoo:

Thank you! We DO love characters, of course, but I wanted your love to be based on what you ate, not with whom you ate it, lol. These are ALL oh so tempting!

I was disappointed by the closure of Boatwrights at breakfast also. They had a few dishes that can't be had anywhere else.

We may not have a park day left by Thanksgiving day, since DH will be on a "Salute" pass, but that remains to be seen and will obviously have an impact.

Favorite breakfast for the food, that’s a tough one. It would have to be Kona for the Tonga Toast and Wasabi Mary with Olivia’s (at OKW) coming in a close second for the Banana Bread French Toast and Salmon Eggs Benedict. Olivia's has a good Bloody Mary too.

IMO Olivia's is Disney's best kept secret. Kona is great and everyone knows about it and loves it, rightfully so, but Olivia's gets little talk and is really great! :thumbsup2 Also, Olivia's has outdoor seating which can be difficult to find for many Disney TS restaurants.

we love Crystal Palace too..! we get an ADR for about 750am and then finish just in time for rope drop!! Food is yummy and there is nothing like entering the magic kingdom before everyone else.

Fresh at the Dolphin. The quality is great. Fresh squeezed juices. Pancakes/waffles/eggs all made fresh to order however you'd like them. Delicious and healthier way to start a long day of walking around Disney.

We too loved Boatwrights....we were very disappointed that they did away with the Breakfast, we would even go out of our way to go eat at Boatwright's even if we were not staying at POR. On that note, our other choices are WCC for their breakfast skillet, and Kona for the Tonga Toast. Eventhough this a character meal, we thoroughly enjoy Cape May Breakfast at the Beach Club. We also like simple breakfasts like Main Street Bakery for their cinnamon rolls. We have never had a bad breakfast anywhere on Disney property, in fact, we have never had a bad meal on Disney property as well (knock on wood) :goodvibes.
