Yeah well, we're not exactly the idea family and the old man's too busy running the organization that keeps the world from blowing itself up to deal with the trifling issue of being my father unless it suits him that year. And that won't happen, because when he gets killed I'll get killed because whatever enemy of my father's it was won't want me taking his place and taking up the mantle of the Fury Dynasty. And I like you, but I don't trust you, nothing personal I just don't trust anyone. Anyone and everyone can be out to kill me. And I don't like having weakness either, but apparently something went wrong with the new version of the SSS because I have weakness."

June: She sighed. "Forget being an agent for one second. Be a normal girl. Honestly, your dad is an idiot. He really thinks taking a little girl and making her an agent is a good idea?"

Raven: "Why should I be a normal girl? I was raised to be an agent. I don't think he's an idiot. Misguided maybe, but he had your dad train me to be an agent not just to be an agent but so I had self defense." But even to her her words sounded flat and unconvincing, and you really got the Hill-tells-me-this-when-I-question-Fury vibe.

OOC: No offense Wings, but Raven is a tad psychotic. At least she seems to be to me. Though I'm probably not completely sane either XD

Nancy: "Well Gordon, we don't have to do something violent. Have you ever heard of a board game?"

Eli: "I have candy land. "

Phil: he nudged Eli's arm.

OOC: I have come to the conclusion that the reason why I make so many psycho and insane people is because I'm insane myself. And I'm okay with that.

Raven: "If you say so. I just try to rationalize/justify my life and fututre actions, even if I have to tell half truths and outright lies to myself to keep myself from going completely insane. Actually, that's probably especially, the truth is too hard to comprehend and swallow, if you can find it."

But you try being trained from an early age to be a field agent as part of a secret agency whose purpose is to keep the world safe by any means necessary, as well as being involved in an experiment designed to make people faster, stronger and better but only three people before you have survived it and come out of it completely sane.

Raven's just good at hiding her slight insanity most of the time, she just breaks badly when the pressure is too much to bear.

OOC: I think all of my characters on this thread have some sort of insecurity.

*Raven is insecure about her standing in SHIELD and her father's life and not being good enough.

*Hope is both shy and doesn't believe in her own self-worth, she doesn't believe she deserves it when good things happen to her.

*Mike is insecure about living in the 21st century, dealing with technology, and living up to his father's standards and the ones he thinks Nancy has.

*Liesel is just plain shy

*Alaric....I haven't figured him out yet but he's probably insecure about something

OOC: my characters' insecurities:

*Eli doesn't think he'll live to the end of the school year, enough said there

*Nancy is still sad about the war and her boyfriend that she thinks is dead, and she has feelings about Phil that make her feel guilty

*Phil thinks that SHIELD is hiding his dad from him and June, and he hates that June is so sad about Coulson
