OOC: my characters' insecurities:

*Eli doesn't think he'll live to the end of the school year, enough said there

*Nancy is still sad about the war and her boyfriend that she thinks is dead, and she has feelings about Phil that make her feel guilty

*Phil thinks that SHIELD is hiding his dad from him and June, and he hates that June is so sad about Coulson

Eli: "We could start out with Candy Land while Thora and Hordon are still learning. "

Penny: "Okay. Where would the games be? I'll go get them."

Penny: She looked in the living room, opening up a cupboard. Sure enough, under a few other board games was Candy Land. She walked back to the others, carrying the box. "Okay, who's playing?"

Raven: "If my dad told him to. Or if he thought it would keep you safe. Your dad's a good person like that."

June: "No. If he is alive we, of all people, deserve to know. If Fury told him that I might as well just drop out of Shield for how unfair it is." She was getting upset. Tears formed in her eyes and her normally rigid, tough countenance had disappeared and there was a look of true sadness on her face. No one but Phil had seen this before.

June: "No. If he is alive we, of all people, deserve to know. If Fury told him that I might as well just drop out of Shield for how unfair it is." She was getting upset. Tears formed in her eyes and her normally rigid, tough countenance had disappeared and there was a look of true sadness on her face. No one but Phil had seen this before.

Raven: "Director's a good leader but his being a good person is questionable enough." She was really rather horrible at emotions, since she preferred to disconnect from them and have no emotions, so she awkwardly placed a hand on June's shoulder.

 

[The Villianess]

Nova: Nova looked at Jeff. She said, "Uh huh. I can take very good care of myself."

Jeff: Jeff walked with Nova. He said, "I'm sure. But I was taught to not let anyone fend for themselves."

Nova: "Who taught you that?" she asked. Even though she was a loner, she liked the idea of someone always there to look out for you.

Jeff: "My mom, before she died."

Nova: "Oh gosh, I'm so sorry."

Jeff: "Nah, it's okay. I barely knew her."

Nova: "Well, thank you. Even though I'm fine."

Nova: "So, do you have any hobbies or extracirriculars?" she asked.

Jeff: "Yeah, but not at school."

Nova: "Oh, do you volunteer somewhere you'd like to work?"

Jeff: "No, but I wish."

Nova: Nova raised an eyebrow. "Where is it?"

Jeff: "I'd like to work in forensic science. You know, where you collect DNA samples of a victim of murder or something."

Nova: Nova wished she had the freedom to choose something like that. "That's cool, I could see you collecting DNA samples or something."
