Please.... I haven't been on in a while- are there any ideas as to who the bandaged lady/ lady working with Jack is???? I am soooooo confused!! TIA

Seems soaps always fall back to the "pregnancy" storylines....as if it is the be all and end all of storylines. For those of us who have watched soaps long enough..and even been pregnant and raised our kids along with the aging characters on some of the soaps... it's incredibly lame to see these same characters that we know are our age having babies.
Here Victor has a teenage grandson..but he's going to be a father ....yet again. Please.
Why..is it that we can't have a balance on these shows of young characters..who are having the babies..and older characters who face some of the challenges of ..well, getting older. I'm not saying they ought to be walking around with canes and walkers...just the opposite. I think if you're 50 years old today..is WAY different than your grandma was at 50. Only I'm pretty sure...they're not pregnant. Please...I'm 51 and I don't know ONE 50 year old pregnant woman. They're out there living their lives..and being both mom and yes..sometimes Grandma's. As well, as taking care of their families..and quite often their aging parents as well.
How about a couple that's happy to have been through the trials and tribulatoins of some 30 years of marriage, and still have feelings for one another.
I guess that's too boring...but having an obvious 50 year old woman pregnant..AND happy about it..I'm sorry, that's just an insult to the intelligence of us 50 year old women. I figure it's gotta be a man writing that storyline...happy that Victor isn't shooting blanks....

Raul Returns to "Y&R"!

You know how they say you can never go home again? Turns out it doesn't apply in Genoa City, because David Lago is returning to "The Young and the Restless."

David played Raul, a childhood friend of Billy Abbott's, from 1999 to 2004. During his time on the show, he clashed with JT over Rianna (remember her?), was paralyzed, broke up with girlfriend Brittany because she loved stripping more than him, and was diagnosed with diabetes.

David won an Emmy in 2005 for his portrayal of Raul. When he got up on stage he made a speech about two mice falling in a bucket of cream, which we guess is a line from "Catch Me If You Can" (rumor has it he didn't prepare a speech).

We wonder, now that Raul's ex Mac is back and making moon eyes at Billy ... do we smell a love triangle? A quadrangle with Chloe? Who knows -- but wow, the possibilities.

:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

I loved that whole s/l...wow, a blast from the PAST! :woohoo:

I loved David Lago/Raul, I was so disappointed when he left the show. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo:

Speaking of actors and actresses...I never cared for David Tom (who first played Billy Abbott)..I really love THIS Billy..and David Lago/Raul, I LOVE but sadly I do not care for this Mac at all. :sad2:

 THANKS HONNYDIPP FOR ALL THESE UPDATES AND SPOILERS!!!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!! :goodvibes

Very possible that will happen.

What is strange is that no one has seemed surprised that a woman of her age is pregnant! Do they think we are stupid and think she is 30 or even 40!? But I have missed some episodes and maybe someone reacted that way and I missed it. ??

well hell if ashley is in her 30's what does that make nick and sharron since noah is 18 or 19 -

drives me crazy when they screw with the ages - i understand making 6 year olds 18 in a matter of a month but when we all know they are at least 45 - 50 don't insult us by making them act like they are 30.

oh - JUST HOW OLD IS VICTOR?

he's looking like he's in his 60's at least.

here's a run down of him but it doesn't mention his age.

"Born Christian Miller, he is abandoned by his father, Albert Miller, and at the age of seven his mother, Cora Miller, puts him in an orphanage because she is unable to provide for him and his brother Matthew. This gives him a strong determination to be successful and independent. After he leaves the orphanage he changes his name to Victor Newman, because he declares himself a victoious new man.

Victor originally comes to Genoa City in 1980 to help Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) run Chancellor Industries. He brings his wife Julia (Meg Bennett) with him, and keeps her a recluse in the ranch house Katherine Chancellor sells him, while he works. Longing for work of her own, Julia takes a modeling job with photographer Michael Scott, who is attracted to her. Victor becomes jealous, and when Julia turns up pregnant, he is convinced that the baby is Michael's.

In retaliation, Victor imprisons Michael in the bomb shelter at the old Newman Ranch. Julia finds Michael and frees him from the bomb shelter. While attempting to flee the Newman Ranch, Victor happens upon the pair and a fist fight between Michael and Victor ensues. Julia gets caught up in the crossfire. She suffers a terrible fall and has a miscarriage. Blood tests later prove that Victor is in fact the father. Julia and Michael leave town.

On the business front, Victor builds a corporate empire called Newman Enterprises, which gives him an estimated net-worth of somewhere between $18 billion to $60 billion.

Victor later begins a relationship with Nikki Reed which becomes a decades long on again, off again romance. They have two children together, Victoria Newman and Nicholas Newman. During his first marriage to Nikki, Victor has an affair with Ashley Abbott. She becomes pregnant with Victor's child and soon has an abortion, a move she lives to regret. She has a mental break down and has to stay at a mental hospital. Grief over the loss of the child tears Victor and Ashley apart, though Victor still loves her.

Leanna "Love" Randolph is hired by both Victor and Jack Abbott to write a biography of Victor. Jack's version of the book is intended to be a tell all entitled Ruthless: The Victor Newman Story. Without Jack's knowledge, Leanna adds a chapter which exposes Victor and Ashley's affair. Believing Nikki is behind the publication, Victor divorces her and marries Leanna. They later divorce. To get revenge on Jack for his role in publishing the book, Victor takes over Jack's family company, Jabot Cosmetics. Out of reverence, Jack marries Nikki. Victor responds by offering to give Jabot back if Jack agrees to end the marriage. He accepts the deal, but does not get his family company back because of a loophole Victor put in the deal.

Victor and Ashley reunite when they both end up at the cottage they used to meet at during their affair. They get married. Victoria returns to town and is not happy to see them together. She attempts to break them up. The relationship ends when Nikki's health troubles draw Victor back to her.

After contributing to the death of Nikki and Jack's unborn child, Victor leaves town and ends up on a farm in Kansas where he meets Hope Adams. The two fall in love and he brings her back to Genoa City. They marry and have a son, Victor Jr.. They later divorce and Hope returns to her farm in Kansas.

To get revenge on Jack, Victor marries Jack's former girlfriend, Diane Jenkins (Alex Donnelley). He divorces her after Nikki is wounded and thought to be dying. He remarries her on her deathbed, intending to remarry Diane after she dies. When Nikki survives, her family is ecstatic, but Diane is concerned about where she stands with Victor. Victor soon breaks it off with Diane.

After learning that, due to Nikki surviving, their marriage is invalid, Victor and Nikki remarry in 2002. Nikki wants to have another child but Victor refuses and gets a vasectomy. He has some of his sperm stored in a sperm back and Diane, who still wants Victor, steals it. She plans to impregnate herself with his child. The sperm is stolen from her multiple times, first by Nikki and then by Ashley. In the end Diane becomes pregnant with Jack's child through his sperm donation at the sperm bank and Ashley becomes pregnant with Victor's daughter, Abby. Abby's paternity is not revealed to Victor until Abby tells him when she is five.

Victor is diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy due to head trauma he received while rescuing Nikki from a car-jacking attempt. Jack learns of this, and takes advantage of Victor for quite some time. In the process, however, a strange friendship formed between them, one which Victor continues to play upon once he has the condition under control. Ultimately, he feels betrayed by Jack once again, although this time it is more personal because of their friendship. Victor reveals the truth to Jack when he informs him that he knows the truth about Jack, not Ji Min Kim (Eric Steinberg), owning Jabot Cosmetics.

Victor leaves Genoa City to be at Hope's bedside as she suffered her final moments with pancreatic cancer. As she is dying, she tells her son, Victor Jr. who now goes by the name Adam Wilson, that Victor is his biological father. Hope raised their son with Cliff Wilson after she and Victor divorced changing his last name to Wilson and let the boy think Cliff was his father. Hope eventually succumbs to the pancreatic cancer that is eating away at her, and it is Victor's strong wish that his son would join him at Newman Enterprises. Eventually he does come to Genoa City. With Victor at odds with the rest of his family Adam fills the void as both son and right-hand-man.

In 2008 Victor falls in love Sabrina Costelana, a friend of Victoria's from Florence, Italy. Victoria disapproves of their relationship and is angry when they decide to marry. Nick also disapproves but is more angry at his father for his controlling ways in business. Victor shifts Victoria's position within Newman Enterprises and gives it to Adam, which increases her bitterness about Adam's presence, enough so that she decides to leave her father's company. Adam then moves into Victoria's office at Newman, and accepted Victor's offer to come live at the Ranch. Victor has created further tension in the family by giving Adam full reign over the company's cosmetics line. On June 20, 2008 Victor and Sabrina marry. On August 1st, 2008 Sabrina Newman dies as the result of a car crash that also kills David Chow.

Her death leads to a downward spiral for Victor who is out for revenge against Walter Palin, the man responsible for Sabrina's death. He goes to Mexico planning to kill him. He instead does nothing to save him when the boat they go out on is taken down in a storm. Nikki reaches out to Victor who rejects her. His children meet with the same rejection. He also throws Adam out when he learns of the way Adam was acting while he was gone. Nikki then contacts Ashley knowing she will be able to reach Victor while she cannot. Ashley searches for Victor in Paris where she brings him back from his suicidal depression and the two romantically reunite.

They return to Genoa City and Victor is arrested for the murder of Walter Palin. While Victor was gone, Jack and Adam created and published a fake diary of Victor confessing to the murder. Victor is cleared of the crime and Adam is arrested for his part in it. Jack made sure his part was covered so well that no charges can be filed against him. Adam goes to prison. Victor pursues revenge against Jack by gaining controlling interest in Jabot and pitting the Abbott siblings against each other despite the fact that doing so hurts Ashley as well. He later relinquishes his shares of the company to Jill Abbott in exchange for her agreement to the exhuming of Marge Catrook's body, whom Jill, at the time, believes to be her presumed mother, Katherine Chancellor.

Also in his plans for revenge against Jack, Victor begins to interact with a bandaged female figure. The woman later introduces herself to the Abbott family as Mary Jane Benson and is hired in Public Relations at Jabot Cosmetics."

Hi everyone ....stopped in to say Happy Easter :flower3: in case I miss you tomorrow. Thanks for all the updates as usual and look forward to what comes about.

Tyra just creeps me out. I dont like her character at all, or her little girl to.....that family is going to fall off the face of the earth if they don't do something.

And I cant stand Cane...what a little mommas boy....he is so yuck. Billy is more of a man IMO than him.

Poor Kevin. And poor Michael. Michael (whats his real name again)?...he is such a good actor. I would live to see him on something else besides just this show.

And if I were Phyllis Id go after poor whittle ole Sharon also. But not in the way they are saying she will. I sure hope that the writers dont have her stab herself. That is what the other soaps do...you know more off the wall stuff. WE dont need things that far fetched...IMO.

The Kevin and Michael storyline is so heartbreaking. Both actors are doing such a good job with it.

Heather as the DA on this case? God that girl just has a crappy track record as a DA. I laugh when she talks all high and mighty about what a strong case she has. Why she's still employed is a mystery to me.

I just want to SMACK Neil across the face. UGH - he is so smug! I truly cannot stand that character. He and Tyra need to fall off a cliff and take a trip down that infamous river in Genoa City that everyone seems to disappear into. I really feel bad for Karen and now that I know she is leaving the show, that whole storyline has me disgusted.

And, I agree - I think Adam is really going to mess with Ashley. And I am sooo looking forward to it!

Happy Easter everybody!

Does anyone have an idea who this bandaged woman REALLY is?

There are always ulterior motives when it comes to people wrapped up in bandages on soaps.:sad2: Maybe someone coming back from the grave or someone Jack or Victor knew from the past that had some plastic surgery of some kind?

Just wondering what everyone thought about this woman...:surfweb:

I agree, I can't buy the fact that she's a DA bad casting. 1) bad acting 2) too young looking to beleive that she's a DA 3) weak storylines

she's an assistant da but your arguments still hold water. she's a terrible actress - too young to be an ADA and not only does she loose ever case but they never have to talk about winning other ficticious cases

Could it be Drucilla? You know, Karen is leaving in a week or so....

Katherine and Murphy are getting married May 1!!! They are so cute!!!!!

Daniel Goddard posted on his web site. Cane & Lily are getting married on May 15! They are shooting the scenes now! I'm guessing the little twit has talked the idiot out of adopting Delia, that's the only way I will support them getting married! It looks like May sweeps will be dedicated to getting hitched!

•Noah doesn't want to be lectured and goes for a walk, he ends up confiding in Victoria about him and Eden having sex. Nick drops off Eden at the coffeehouse, Eden confides in Lauren about having sex w/ Noah•Sharon calls Jack who sees the the place trashed, he says she's been set up but it suddenly strikes her that she may have stolen these items. Sharon is arrested, Michael refuses to defend her learning the charges against her (he realizes she stole not Eden). Jack gets Sharon another lawyer•Phyllis is devastated when Nick says they need to seperate, he admits to sleeping w/ Sharon again. The real pain though comes when Nick doesn't deny using Phyllis to get over the death of Cassie. Nick packs a bag, Phyllis asks him to leave after he can't say what she wants him to. Nick moves in w/ Victoria•Gloria finds out from Jana about where Kevin is, she goes to see him. Kevin is haunted by the chipmunk head, he screams for Gloria to leave him alone

Next - Jill tells Murphy he is swimming w/ sharks now; Victor and Colleen both have an agenda against each other; Nick asks Phyllis if she's behind Sharon's arrest

I would be HAUNTED by that CHIPMUNK head as well and I didn't even rob a bank....:scared: It is creepy and ugly. :scared:

WHY does Mac put the chipmunk head on??? What does she have to do with Kevin??? :confused3

 Katherine and Murphy!!

:sad2: Lily and Cane. :sad2:

:headache: Tyra. :headache:

 Karen and Neil.

:headache: Sharon. :headache:

:sad1: Phyllis and Nick. :sad1:

:headache: Chloe and Billy. :headache:

 Kevin and Michael.

:headache::headache: Jill. :headache::headache:

 Noah and Eden.

I actually enjoyed Phyllis loosing it in Sharon's room. That's the old Phyllis we know and love to hate!

But it reminded me of another scene but I can't remember who was involved....someone else tore up someone's bras and panties....I think it may have been Drucella's?? Anyone remember that?

Phyllis used to be so evil. I'd like to see that Phyllis back. :thumbsup2

Remember what a great job she did playing Sheila Carter? That was great!

But I still want Sharon and Nick back together and Phyllis with Jack or alone and evil again.
