Dear Dis-Friends - I need help again!!

I've read a few things about ADRs switching back to 180 days on October 27th but I can't find anything official or even somewhat official. Has anyone else heard about this?? I've also heard that park hours will go back to 180 days as well... let's hope so because if that's true I need to make ADRs starting on the 27th!! And since we're staying off-property I'll need to get up early every day to make each ADR. Help!!

(I may have to get started on my PTR sooner than expected...)

I'll be back later to post some final thoughts on this TR. I have a nice quiet day home by myself today. Which is a good thing since it's SNOWING here this morning!! Only a few flakes, but it's only October!!!

Tampa is very doable and worth it for direct. That is a GREAT price on the minivan, same price I found for 5 days out of Orlando.

Where did you hear about this? I can't find anything more than a few posters who have heard about it?? I guess I have to update my new ADR ticker!

I've been spending the morning trying to figure out the EMHs for April so I can avoid them when making up our itinerary.

I was shocked that the minivan was half the price I was finding elsewhere!

I'm trying to wrap this baby up soon so I can take a bit of a break (apparently that will have to wait until after I make some ADRs in about 10 days!!)

• Teppan Edo (ended up LOVING this restaurant)
• Boat ride from Wilderness Lodge (another first)
• Alex – Riding RnRC for the first time
• Zach – Dinosaur of course! And riding EE for the first time
• Tim – Probably the dining plan.


Lows:
• Missing wallet
• Meltdown at Epcot
• Drama with cousins/Jeff & Karen’s late arrival

Yep Amy, you'll be able to make your ADR's on the 27th!! The park hours are supposed to go back to 180 days as well. I'll believe it when I see it! This time for me it was supposed to be 90 days but it was more like 80. Talk about last minute!

Uggghhhh!! That's so frustrating. I will probably get better ADRs being able to make them now since a lot of people either haven't booked trips yet or don't know about the 180 days but I am sooo not prepared. I have been trying to look at Nov, Dec & Jan hours and at least figure out when EMHs will be, but it would be nice to have Feb & March hours, which would probably give me a better sense of April hours.

I guess I'll go start my PTR now so I can keep everything together... Thanks!!

Understand your off/on site dilemna...one of the huge reasons why we bought into DVC.

the 180 days out thing....yes I read about it quite awhile ago on the boards...I am most siked about it! but can see the panic when you planning the next trip under that.

Hi Everyone!! Thanks for reading along - first on my long 9 month PTR and then this 6 month long TR. I can't believe I've been talking about this trip for over a year!!

I'm going to close this out with just a few final thoughts...

I think I have expressed most of my thoughts about the trip in my four part recap... So I want to take a minute to thank of all of the great friends I have made here on the DIS over the past two plus years since I discovered Kathy's Adventures in Autism reports. It's great to know you guys are always here - whether I'm here on a regular basis or not! Thanks to everyone who has read, posted & lurked.
