You people who are planning your trips right now...

hey everyone! im just so excited reading everyone elses plans i thought i would share too. Im leaving on june 5th and staying till the 9th at Pop Century. I have the plane tickets and room booked, now to pick some restraunts! Hopefully my first solo trip wont be my last!

we will only be there for 5 days, but we arrive around noon on the 8th, :cool1: and don't fly out until 4:00 on the 12th, so we have almost 5 full days at wdw!! just looked at accuweather--they have a 15 day forecast--shows low to mid 70's the whole time, :sunny: although the lows are in the low 50's.

our plans are:
epcot the afternoon of the 8th and finish with chef mickeys character dinner

mk on the 9th, with lunch at the crystal palace for a character lunch. try to take advantage of the emh.

ak on the 10th starting with character breakfast at donald's breakfastasaurus.

mgm on the 11th after character breakfast at Ohana's.

sunday the 12th, whatever we didn't get to do yet. nothing planned.

Hi,

I'm new to the board. We're going to WDW in June (9th - 17th) staying at Pop Century. We booked through Magic For Less Travel, and the trip is almost completely paid off. I have made ADRs for Boma and Chef Mickey's for Dinner. We went to both of them on our last trip (2004) and really liked them. This trip, it's going to be me, my wife, our two kids (Jacob - 6, and Sylvia - 1), and my parents.

Type A personality here. consider yourself forewarned. LOL

Let's see... so far for our cruise I have:
Booked cruise- just paid it completely!

Booked room at GF RPC and paid 1 night deposit (which is half the 2 night stay... I'd pay the other half if they let me. Can I pay the other half in advance with DU or do I have to wait? I heard I have to wait and pay when we are there...)

Purchased 5 flight tickets already.... chose our seats too. LOL

have ADR for dinner at 1900 Park Fare for our arrival night- the next day we'll be at MK and taking advantage of concierge offerings plus CS meals. We'll be eating lightly and saving up our major eating for the cruise in which I fully intend on (probably!) gaining 10lbs atleast. LOL Okay I don't plan on pigging out- but for me anything but a lowcarb meal piles on the pounds... but I'm NOT going to eat lowcarb on the cruise!

Booked limo from airport to GF, GF to port, port to aiport thru FL Tours (ofcourse can't pay for that in advance)

Booked day room at Hyatt for departure day at airport

Purchased (and just received yesterday) some extra 10 day tickets from ticketmania since not all of us have leftover days for the one day at MK. Yes, you heard that right... purchased 10 day plus tickets (non expiring ofcourse) for ONE day to be used on this trip. :lmao: Can you tell we plan on going again??

Booked lodging (at Pet Motel no less... the name cracks me up) for our dog Tramp during our trip. We've used them before and it's the only place I feel comfortable leaving him. Ofcourse sister will drop by and feed our fish while we're gone.

Plan on using express/covered parking at the airport but the nerve of them not letting you reserve and pay for it in advance. :lmao:

Hmm, all that is left (I think?) is that money is put aside also for tips (for cruise, etc.), excursions & spending- plus we'll put ONE day ticket on DH's room key (can you tell we fully intend on going again even though DH would rather not go that often? Hence the reason not wasting a 10 day plus hopper ticket for him. LOL), and as soon as I can I'll be registering the kids for the clubs on the cruise, spa, etc.

Lately kinda bored since I don't have anything else to plan- yet. LOL

We're leaving in 9 days. Pretty much have everything done. Have plane tix, hotel reservations, most of the adr's, just got our magical express info, cirque tix, reservations for Keys to the Kingdom and Behind the seeds tours. Just need to make a few more adr's for breakfast. We're doing the premium plan, so I may add horseback riding and water skiing, but not sure yet - it may be too late.

HI there I am planning my trip in March and i also have adr for horseback riding please let me know how you liked it ... thanks vicki

We are leaving on March 16 (Thurs) to drive. We plan on getting as close as we can and spending the night outside WDW. Then check into the Pop Century on Friday. Our group is really big. Everyone is supposed to arrive on Friday (15 total!).
We have ADRs at:
Friday - 50s Prime Time 4pm
Saturday - Liberty Tavern Character meal 4pm
Sunday - Coral Reef (can't remember the time btw 4 & 5pm)
Monday - Tony's Town Square 11:35am
Tuesday - Sci-Fi Drive
Wednesday - Le Cellier

Now as to plan what day we're going to which park. I haven't really decided. I know that we're going make Monday a late start day since we have lunch at Tony's Town Square and then go to Ak. I imagine we'll be at MK Saturday. Any suggestions? Oh and we'll definitely need to come back to the room mid day for a rest. We're going to have 7 kids with us. Ranging in age from 1-12 yr old.

My plans have changed so much it is laughable. :rotfl: Way back about 2 years ago we had a group of 13 going to WDW staying at POR. :grouphug: It was my family of 4, my mom & stepdad, my lil sis her boyfriend, my big sis and her family (5). Well Lill sis' boyfriend proposes. :goodvibes Mom needs to use her $$$ on a wedding. Lill sis will not be able to get more time off of work after her big day and honeymoon. That leaves my family and big sis' family. Big sis changes her days to early June. So we are now going solo. We booked POP for 7 nights with dining. Planned on getting up and out of the house by 6:00 AM, :car: staying somewhere near Kingsland GA then getting up and moving by 8:00 AM the next day arriving at POP by 11:00AM . Then I thought wouldn't it be nice to spend a couple nights at the ocean (ST.Augustine) Instead of Kingsland. Hubby said no. Just today, we cancelled the beach and added one more day to Disney so that we could skip the rushing to get there part and arrive late afternoon, explore the hotel and relax by the pool. I think my planning is complete. :woohoo:

Gotta Love Planning for Disney! I can't wait to get my ADRs in place.

Hmmmmm....let's see...

So far I have booked Doubletree Suites in DTD for Sept. 24-30, 2006. 6 nights. I am very anxious that we will not be able to relax and enjoy Disney because in addition to the parks, my husband is taking a fishing trip for a half day on Lake Toho and we are also spending one whole day at SeaWorld. I had planned on flying down, but I am seriously contemplating driving now to save $$. It is only 11 hours after all. :teeth:

Depending on what kind of tax refund we get, I may decide to come down one day early and that way we can have all day on the 24th (a Sunday) to tour a park. I had originally decided to do AK on our last day, but I would love to be able to just relax that last day and go to DTD or something like that before we drive home. Decisions, decisions....

I have already decided if free dining comes out again this year, all of my plans will get turned upside down and I of course will have to rebook everything.

I have already bought out 4 day MYW tickets w/o park hopping (thinking about adding that when we get there) with water parks and more options. Plan on going to Disney Quest and Pleasure Island and also 1 waterpark.

I plan on making ADR's for dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe, Mama Melrose, and possibly Spoodles. I can make those at the end of March.

My birthday is next month so I may save some of that money and book DH and I on the Segway tour. That looks like so much fun!!

Of course, I am already stressing about the weather, hurrican season you know. I hope we have a milder year that last year.

 :goodvibes I need to chill out with the planning.

We're planning a trip the last week in March - so far I've got plane tickets and reservations for a standard room at AKL. Trying to decide about getting the dining plan. We're planning on hitting Universal for the first time, and my daughter (13) wants to go the Disney Water Parks if its warm enough.

We're going August 7 - 18....
So far we have airline tickets purchased, rooms booked 6 night CSR and 5 nights BC, our schedule planned as best I could using July hours and EMH schedule. Planning is so much fun!!! :Pinkbounc

While I should be surprised by the responses (most of my threads die after about three posts!), I understand y'all's need to share your plans. And I love reading them.
Keep 'em coming! :sunny:

(BTW--We have tentatively booked a trip for end of July--at least I reserved our room at the Dolphin. But haven't booked airline/rental car, or --gasp!--ADR's yet because just not certain if it will come to play. So I am totally living vicariously through your plans. Please don't stop sharing! :teeth: )

Going in May..

Have CSR booked, have my airline tickets, have my park hoppers, have the dining plan, have transportation to and from the airport in order. Have 2 things left to do......pack and go! :)

My best friend and I will be there in March. We already have plane tickets, reservations (POR), a rental car, APs, and ADR's at San Angel, Boma, O'hana, and Le Cellier. (The food is our favorite part :teeth: ) We can't wait! Is it too soon to start packing?

We are headed back to the World March 9-13th...staying at Poly. Attending the UCA cheerleading competition for my two younger sisters...but ofcourse for me it is just an excuse for us to go back and play around for a few days in the Happiest Place on Earth! We just went about a month ago as well. We have ADRs at Ohana's and CRT. I can't wait...On deck, though, my DBF and I will begin to plan our next venture to the World sometime soon. I'm hoping to go right after school lets out for Winter break, or right after the New Year!

The countdown is on. Leaving Wednesday morning. EVERYTHING IS DONE!!!

I am completly done. Got my ADR's, everything is paid in full because my Parents gave the trip to us for Christmas. Now I am re-planning LOL. I am obsessed with the DIS Boards. :rainbow:

I am always planning, morning, noon and night, it doesn't matter what time of day it is.... :)
