The first day of your trip - you are all set to wear Mickey and Minnie T-shirts - because you know - it's MINNIE and MICKEY and it's the first day.

Then...

You find matching INCREDIBLES T-Shirts and could ALL match and BE the Incredible Family AND you were planning on doing the Incredibles Dance Party that day...

These tough first-world problems!!!! What to do? What to do?

I mean - you need cute different Disney T's each day.... because you're THAT family.

And Star Wars T-shirts are IMPORTANT when you visit DHS...

What level of crazy do you end up at before you start shaking your head at yourself?

I mean - you probably have accepted it and will do it anyways, but...

:rolleyes1:earboy2:

I tend to crazy over plan and then get upset when things don't go the way I want them to or the kids are not as thrilled with my plans as I thought they'd be. I also learned on our trip last Nov that I simply planned too much - there was no way we could get it all in. It just wasn't practicle. We're going back in Dec and I'm trying to keep that in mind and plan more simply. I WILL change my planning time table tho - last year I kept thinking I had all this time to do stuff and time just got away from me so some of the plans I had in my head never got beyond that point. I'm also going to use the last trip as a guide for what areas need to be crazy planned and what areas we can just go with the flow on; I'm really NOT a "go with flow" kind of person, but I'm trying to get better.

Lol I always wear my TaleSpin shirt to AK because I know I'm going to see Baloo. And I always wear my Rescue Rangers shirt to Epcot when we have dinner at Garden Grill! It creates wonderful interactions with the characters! That's about as precise as my DH lets me get these days.

My DH asked last night if Disney had a spouse protection program for the husbands of crazy Disney spouses. :) I think I might be driving him a little crazy talking about, planning, putting things on spreadsheets for our Food and Wine trip this fall.

I'm not quite to the spreadsheet level.... but that's because I like a WHOLE page for each day in Word! LOL

I have my Mary Poppins tee ready for World Showcase. Now you are giving me ideas!

My planner is color coded and looks like a hot mess when it comes to trip planning, but it totally works for me.

Where did you find incredible tees for the family?

I got them at a place called Party City. It's a big box party supply store. I was surprised they carried some Disney hats and T-shirt. I also got my hubby a R2D2 Shirt and a Minnie for my daughter. And baseball hats for her and I. Mine's Snow White and her's is the Cheshire Cat.

When my DD found out Joy and Sadness are at Epcot she asked about tshirts. We had tshirts made with all the characters to wear on our Epcot day.

I have my first-day shirt already planned! It's not an official Disney shirt - it's made by Cafepress or something. Anyway, it has a picture of Minnie & Minnie by the monorail and the caption says "Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor, mantenganse alejado de las puertas."

I'm obsessive about the Disney shirt thing. Our trip is in 3 weeks and I have A LOT of Disney shirts I've collected or made for our family. I recently rationalized that I can't wear the same shirts each trip to make myself feel better. But it's totally psychotic.

For those who do spreadsheets, I would do it on my Google Calendar on my Android phone. It gives you alerts and less messy than paper. I use the Calendar feature as much as I do at Anime Cons I volunteer at. Put your ADRs, FP+ and other events in different colors on your calendar and go at it. I have a paper analog of my key phone numbers and plans in case the phone has issues or I forget to do something.

Haha, I do the same, calendar entry for all my ADRs so I get reminders for it.

For me, I think my planning went a bit overboard when I had 4 computers at 6am running searches concurrently for booking ADRs haha

I'm not overly crazy for the most part, but my main neurosis comes with my planning out our restaurants.

-I have a countdown calendar counting down to the day I can book restaurant reservations!
-I have every likely ordered meal item at every possible restaurant planned out including tax, quick service, and snacks..to determine the value of the dinning plan. FYI, not worth it this trip.
-Everyday from 6 months out I look at our restaurant reservations and keep searching what else is available, even though I have made the reservations at the exact time reservations first open and normally have every restaurant and time I wanted.
