Update for you folks.
Dale (Name we all agreed on since we are pretty sure it's a boy

) is doing good so far.
He is about same on weight, 25 grams, but starting yesterday evening he really has increased his intake. He is getting more accustomed to the syringe feeding. We try to use both the syringe and dropping the formula into the palm of the hand and letting his lap it up. However, last night apparently while lapping up milk from oldest DD he chomped down on her palm and would not let go. Apparently he is growing in his upper incisors to go with his already in place lower incisors. I told her it was a shame she got beat up by a 3 week old blind and deaf squirrel.
He has also started squeaking more during feeding, I assume meaning he is happy.
Since he sleeps on my side of the bead in the lower drawer of the bedside I can easily check on him. Well, I was awoken this morning to squeaking. I jumped up thinking he might of gotten trapped between warming pad and drawer, but what I found was him sitting up on his hind legs in the middle of the drawer. Of course he wasn't looking around because his eyes are still closed, but I got the message. He has learned to ask for breakfast.
He makes a mess, getting on his chin and belly and doesn't stay still very easily to dry him off afterwards. He is being bathed with a Q-tip.
His ears have started to open up and can see some fine traces of hair on his tail.
