You just lost 80 pounds! What are you Going to do next? Ending TR

Big Reveal:

I'm sloooooowly making my way through your TR; and I'm so glad I got to this point! You look so fabulous, but heck I already knew that, since I was one of the lucky folks who got to see you IN REAL LIFE!! You came to Portland all skinny and dolled up and so proud- as you should be!

You did great, and your crying was every bit appropriate. Your hard work paid off and you were REALLY there. YAY!!!!

Now, let's get on that bus!!

:drive:

Camille, I'm keeping you and your mom and you in my thoughts and prayers.

What a fun update. As you know, we've done dinner three times at BOG now and we've sat in the West Wing (which we loved) once and the Ballroom twice. We can't wait to try lunch there in September. And I think I'm going with what Mackie ordered.

So nice of the CM to give you a tour. :)

POP and AofA:

Still meandering my way through all the lovely, lovely chapters you've written.

I LOVE living vicariously through your TR, Camille.

I stayed very near where you did on my last Ladies' Trip, and love the view as well. I loved the view- until I locked myself out. Yeah. That was special. Try getting a new key without any ID. :sad2:

OK. I admit, I was very skeptical about the new resort. I thought, "Great! More cheesy hard-scaping." But they've really done a nice job from what I see! Definitely worth a closer look whenever I get there next. :magnify:

Yes, one of our job descriptions is to annoy our kids. I am a professional.

Just thought I'd let y'all know my mom finally passed this morning.

I can't thank you all enough for your support and prayers over the last couple of years. I love and appreciate you all so much. :grouphug:

I'm so sorry for your loss but am glad your mom isn't in pain any more.

Big hugs.

Sending prayers of comfort to you and your family Millie.

Camille, I am so sorry for your loss! Can you just imagine it though....your beautiful mother, in her fully restored body, dancing and rejoicing with the Lord! I know that those thoughts will comfort you in the days and weeks to come.

Thank you, Tim.

Thank you so much, Lisa. That image really brings up a lot of good thoughts about my mom being in heaven. She loved living life and being free to move without restriction, which hasn't happened in many, many years. She had a lot more wrong with her body before the cancer hit. Thinking about her dancing in heaven is exactly what I would imagine her doing. Thank you for that.

Thank you for letting us know your mom has passed. I am praying for you and all your family over the coming days.

Oh sweetie, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how hard this is for you. I'm glad though that mom is no longer suffering. I am sending you all my love and a big

Ditto what I said on FB. I am so very sorry that the experience of losing a parent was made much harder on you than it should have been. A big virtual hug. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Camille I am so sorry for your loss. I don't know what it feels like to lose a parent, but I can only imagine the heartbreak. I'm thinking of you and your family through this. Take what comfort you can in the fact that she's no longer suffering and she's at peace.

I know I called and we talked, but wanted you to know here, that I was thinking about you again this evening, Sweet Friend. I'm praying you're able to sing with a sincere heart, "It is well with my soul".

Oh so sorry for your loss! Hugs I know it is hard, but at least she is out of pain now. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family!

Even though no more pain and suffering takes on a whole new meaning for your mom, it doesn't lessen the fact that you are left with an empty place for now. I know that your future with your mom will be far more glorious than your past. Praying for you my friend.

Camille, I am so very sorry to hear about your mother passing away. I know these past few months have been so difficult for you. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family. I know I can't really offer any words of comfort that will diminish the pain in your heart, but let me share this poem a family had me read when I officiated a funeral service for their mother.

The Sailing Ship

by Charles Henry Brent

What is dying?
I am standing on the seashore.
A ship sails to the morning breeze and starts for the ocean.
She is an object and I stand watching her
Till at last she fades from the horizon,
And someone at my side says, “She is gone!” Gone where?
Gone from my sight, that is all;
She is just as large in the masts, hull and spars as she was when I saw her,
And just as able to bear her load of living freight to its destination.
The diminished size and total loss of sight is in me, not in her;
And just at the moment when someone at my side says, “She is gone”,
There are others who are watching her coming,
And other voices take up a glad shout,
“There she comes” – and that is dying.

Someday Camille, your mom will be standing there in pefect health waiting upon her little girl with open arms... What a reunion it will be for you in glory when that day comes.

Be Our Guest looks amazing. I hope I get the chance to try it out someday. Maybe it'll be less crowded in 20 years?

I'm very sorry for the loss of your mother, Camille. Still praying for you guys.

Such a beautiful restaurant.
The food for lunch looks good. One day we will get there for that, only dinner so far.

So sorry for your loss. We are here if you need to talk.
