You just lost 80 pounds! What are you Going to do next? Ending TR

Catching up during my snow day. :goodvibes

A sighting of ELVIS???? :lmao: up that's him.

So hard finding shoes with hard to fit feet. I have a similar problem. Wide feet and straps often hit my feet in odd places.

Looks like you made good use of your day- rides, Elvis and a DISmeet :thumbsup2

Another resort? :faint: :lmao:

Wonderful mega updates, Camille. I am so looking forward to trying lunch at BOG in September.

Thanks for the shout out of the hat photo here and on FB.

Oh my...he really does look like Elvis!

Wonderful pictures at all of the attractions.

And I'm so jealous that you got to meet Dawn and Meadow.

It was a great day at the park, and I'm so glad you got there finally.

A sighting of ELVIS???? :lmao: yup that's him.

I'm glad you checked in, I was thinking about you last night and this morning and meant to text you a dozen different times today and kept forgetting. I had other things on my mind today, my yearly female doctors appt. to go to. :worried: I was worried about you and the weather. Everything okay there?

So hard finding shoes with hard to fit feet. I have a similar problem. Wide feet and straps often hit my feet in odd places.

You and me both, I have a wide front foot, high instep and high arches and narrow heal. :faint: LOL! Hard to fit shoes at times.

Looks like you made good use of your day- rides, Elvis and a DISmeet :thumbsup2

Another resort? :faint: :lmao:

WE had a great day. :goodvibes Elvis was an unexpected surprise.

Yes, another resort. ::yes:: And another one even after that! This one we'll be at the longest. :) 7 days.

No, just too busy to spend time on the boards. Looking forward to your next installment. :)

I know all about that. I have a bit more time on my hands now days, Mom's hospital stays, doctors appts. took up a lot of my time for a while.
I hope all is well with you, Debbie. How are you? How is your mom doing?

I'm still here - just laying low :thumbsup2

Lana!! :goodvibes It's always a great surprise to see you here. I know how dedicated you are trying to be at home, thank you for being here.

Wonderful mega updates, Camille. I am so looking forward to trying lunch at BOG in September.

Thank you, Ms. Kat. I hope you are hanging in there. I decree this winter will yield a beautiful early Spring and a gorgeous summer for us all this year! :)

Thanks for the shout out of the hat photo here and on FB.

Of course! Can't do hat pictures without giving you a sweet thought and shout out! ::yes::

Oh my...he really does look like Elvis!

I KNOW!! RIGHT?!?

Wonderful pictures at all of the attractions.

And I'm so jealous that you got to meet Dawn and Meadow.

Hopefully you'll get to meet them soon. They are such sweet ladies. :) Meadow is all energy and fun. :goodvibes

It was a great day at the park, and I'm so glad you got there finally.

It was an awesome day at the park. :lovestruc I was so glad to have finally made it there.

Goodness I'm behind!! Ha ha!! Elvis! That's so funny. I love your subtle photography trick of making it look like you are taking a photo of Mackie!

Bummer about the shoes and you little toe. :) Michael would love it if I walked slower. He may need to sabotage my shoes.

Philharmagic is one of Em's favorite attractions. Me, I like it because it is a nice relaxing 20 minutes in a/c.

You are ever so popular with 3 Dismeets back to back to back. :thumbsup2 Glad you are having a good time. Mother/daughter trips are so special.

And I have to say.... I'm so jealous of Mackie's long legs! I can only wish.

Did I depress everyone away?!? :rotfl:

Never!!!! I am glad to see you back on here. You have been in my prayers Camille. However what is depressing has been this constantly brutal cold and snow we have been getting since the beginning of January. UGGHHH :)

Thank you for proving that Elvis is still alive with your pictures. I have been saying he is alive and well and the evidence can be seen with his appearance in WDW. :lmao:

We got 1-2 inches of snow that stuck to bushes and grass Tuesday. Then 5-6 inches of snow Wednesday. The overnight sleet, freezing rain and maybe more snow.

Calling for one last band of 1-2 inches to top it all off.

No work Wed or today. I am supposed to work weekend so I am wondering how that will all go. :confused3
Today's workout will be shoveling driveway so I can possibly get out tomorrow. :cold:

Finally getting back here to catch up. How funny your "Elvis" sighting was! He does look just like the King! :rotfl2:

Ugh, I hate shoe issues! I ended up buying a pair of Crocs loafers on my last trip because my feet hurt so bad. In fact, I'm wearing them right now...much more comfortable for walking.

I'm riding out Snowcopolypse in downtown Philadelphia. Close to a foot of snow in Philly and the city is pretty much shut down. I'm hoping it all clears up enough that I can fly home tomorrow morning. I was really sad that the Amish pancake place at Reading Terminal was closed.

 as you and your family deal with everything that has happened. You know I'm thinking about you!

Naaa, no more behind than I get on everyone's.
I think that photog trick is what had Mackie laughing so hard. :rotfl:

Bummer about the shoes and you little toe. :) Michael would love it if I walked slower. He may need to sabotage my shoes.

Actually the big toe. :scared: It had a strap that went over it. :rolleyes2 The other shoe was fine, so I know it was due to my high instep pulling on that particular strap to then tighten the strap over my toe. PIH, I tell ya! (pain in the hiney incase you were wanting to know what PIH means)

Philharmagic is one of Em's favorite attractions. Me, I like it because it is a nice relaxing 20 minutes in a/c.

::yes:: I'm right there with ya. I really love it, especially when the corks fly out and puffs of air come at you and sprays of water in the BOG number. It's always during a pretty warm part of the day, the AC is very welcomed. :beach:

You are ever so popular with 3 Dismeets back to back to back. :thumbsup2 Glad you are having a good time. Mother/daughter trips are so special.

I don't know about that, but it was such a great treat to meet everyone. :)
And yes, the Mother/Daughter trip was pretty fun. As special as it was, I'm thinking we'll come up with some fun of our own, together, and probably some trouble mixed in with some pixie dust. pixiedust: :rotfl:

And I have to say.... I'm so jealous of Mackie's long legs! I can only wish.

I know! The lucky girl! She's about 5'10 now, and may still be growing! As long as her feet stopped growing that's all I cared about. :rotfl: She didn't get the legs from me, but possibly my side of the family. Either side of the family to be honest. John is after all 6'4, I use to be close to 5'8 once upon a time, now I'm closer to 5'6. :upsidedow And I was considered the shortest in my family.

Never!!!! I am glad to see you back on here. You have been in my prayers Camille. However what is depressing has been this constantly brutal cold and snow we have been getting since the beginning of January. UGGHHH :)

:goodvibes Thank you, Bob. Those prayers mean more than you could possibly know. Although... I thought maybe the changing of my deodorant finally had people heading for the hills.

I can only imagine what y'all have been going through. I use to live where it snowed every year, and we had some brutal winters, even some 12 foot snow drifts once. Went all the way to the start of the roof on our house. Crazy! But this winter has really taken it's toll on just about everyone. I decree, in the name of Jesus, for Spring to come quickly and to last long and for it be a wonderful and mild summer for us all this year. Good news with all this freezing weather....we won't have as many bugs to contend with this summer!! :cool1: Gotta find the good in everything, ya know?!? :lovestruc

Thank you for proving that Elvis is still alive with your pictures. I have been saying he is alive and well and the evidence can be seen with his appearance in WDW. :lmao:

You are most welcome, and I had suspected it all along. I was 6 when he supposedly passed, I remember my babysitter saying something about it when she was reading the paper. That means he would have been my exact age, 42. Wow......that's a long time to go in hiding! :rotfl: Well, now we know where he lives and plays....WDW. :lovestruc

We got 1-2 inches of snow that stuck to bushes and grass Tuesday. Then 5-6 inches of snow Wednesday. The overnight sleet, freezing rain and maybe more snow.

I would assume y'all aren't use to getting any snow, right? The sleet and freezing rains are the worst. Be careful, girl. So when are you coming to Texas again?

No work Wed or today. I am supposed to work weekend so I am wondering how that will all go. :confused3
Today's workout will be shoveling driveway so I can possibly get out tomorrow. :cold:

Oooh please be careful with your shoulder. I wouldn't do it if I were you, let your boy come home and help out.

Finally getting back here to catch up. How funny your "Elvis" sighting was! He does look just like the King! :rotfl2:

 He was truly sporting that style with some serious flare.

Ugh, I hate shoe issues! I ended up buying a pair of Crocs loafers on my last trip because my feet hurt so bad. In fact, I'm wearing them right now...much more comfortable for walking.

I'm right there with ya. I've tried so many shoes it's not even funny. I'm one who can't wear the crocs, my toe is too long, they either fit too big or too small. I'm glad you found a good pair of shoes that work for you. Nothing like a good pair of comfy shoes. :thumbsup2

My cousin lives in PA and they have 17 inches of snow so far on their back deck. :faint: Could you imagine?!? She's coping by putting a couple of bottles of wine out in it to chill. :thumbsup2

Brook Woz from the Dis boards was saying there were gigantic snow flakes coming down where she is, she said she feels like she's in a snow globe.

 as you and your family deal with everything that has happened. You know I'm thinking about you!

Jill in CO

Thank you, Jill. You are so sweet. I'm finally coming around. I've finally decompressed from all the dysfunctional drama and crap that went on and I think I'm finally in the home stretch now. Now that we are getting some warmer weather (high of 67 today) I really feel like I'm going to be able to snap out of this fully. Monday we'll see our first 80 degree temps for the year. Pretty early, even for us.

I know all about that. I have a bit more time on my hands now days, Mom's hospital stays, doctors appts. took up a lot of my time for a while.
I hope all is well with you, Debbie. How are you? How is your mom doing?

My mom is doing great. Her pain is finally controlled for the first time in years. It's not gone, but it is bearable. They are able to go out and do things again, she even drove for the first time in two years last week. They just booked a cruise to New England in August. Controlling the pain has boosted her spirits so much. Thanks for asking.

I'm poking my way along here... slow going, I know.

But I just finished the Complete Day 1 and I just gotta say, it's so fun to have a trip down memory lane with you as my guide.

I'm sorry your meal was so yucky. I only had a few "off" dishes during my last trip, but when you get 'em, it's such a let down. I hate wasting money and when I'm spending that much, I want WOW.

I totally get that you want to take a friend along for Mackie next time. Wouldn't it be awesome to find a mother/daughter combo?? :wink wink:

I hope you don't mind a new reader. I followed you over from another TR and read through the whole thing. I'll stick around if that's okay! ::yes::

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom. Heaven will be amazing!

Hi Camille - sorry I'm a little late. Cute pics of your girl!:cutie:
I love that bathroom, too - it seems to make people take a few extra minutes just to look around - maybe that's the reason they made it so awesome.:rotfl2:

How cool that you got to meet up with Dawn and Meadow! Looking forward to your next day!

I've come to realize my faith in Christ has forever changed the way I see death. I don't fear it, and I don't look at it as something horrible any more.
My mom isn't in pain any more and she's able to move her body again like she's did when she was young. :)
My mom's faith in what Christ did for her on the cross has me rejoicing for her instead of mourning for her.
My mom lived a very hard life in many ways, I'm just glad her eternity is being lived out in joy now. ::yes::

I have not done much 'DISing' in the last few months, so I missed this news. I am glad you are comforted by the promise of an eternal life filled with only good things - amazing things beyond what we can even imagine. :) When you have that, death is definitely not to be feared.

I enjoyed catching up on your pictures. :goodvibes
