You just lost 80 pounds! What are you Going to do next? Ending TR

Bob, I don't think I've ever seen pictures of you (I was wondering how I'd recognize you at the MK). Let me just say...WOW. Awesome job!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

You would have had no problem even if you never saw me. With my looks I would be the one that looks like he is wearing his MNSSHP mask at MVMCP. :rotfl2:

Camille, sorry for taking so long but I did reply back to your pm this evening.

Ok Camille here you go. Now let me warn you, I may have been able to shrink in size but there was not a whole lot I could do about the looks

And finally me hitting my goal weight of 162 Lbs in June 2012. Not by plan, but with my activity level I continued to lose 10 more pounds until I reached 152 Lbs (been as low as 150). And this is what I still weigh today.

So there you have it. I completely hijacked your thread. But you told me too. :lmao:

Great story, Bob! I started at 327 and am down to 257. My eventual goal is 150. You and Camille are a great inspiration!

Ok Camille here you go. Now let me warn you, I may have been able to shrink in size but there was not a whole lot I could do about the looks department. :rotfl:

What are you talking about?!? Your a handsome fella! I'm sure you beautiful wife thinks so, no matter what weight you were at. ::yes:: :thumbsup2 My hubby always told me I was beautiful no matter what weight I was at. I thought he was totally daft!! But whatever.

I will show you three pictures; the first of me being big, the second at my heaviest point, and then at my goal weight. (sorry don't know how to resize pictures)

No worries, it took me a while to figure it out.

This is August 2008 and our first time ever at WDW. My DW, DD(then 10 and now 3 weeks away from her sweet 16) and me... No, I'm not the big "Goofy" guy in the middle, I'm the other "goofy guy." I would say I was about 240 Lbs at this point.

This is me at my heaviest point and weighing 267 Lbs. It was taken when we were in D.C. and I can tell you how miserable I was trying to walk around all day. It was almost as bad as getting into one of the cars on Space Mountain. In just one month from this picture my 45 year old brother died of a sudden and massive heart attack and two weeks later my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical & ovarian cancer (now in remission). It was the motivating factor that woke me up and the most difficult period in my life.

Oh boy do I understand the hardly being able to walk thing, I was like that the last trip to WDW before losing the weight. And I can relate to the crisis in one's life to finally wake you up. I'm sooo sorry you had to go through that, but if it's gotten you where you are today.....then I'm sure in some way you are truly grateful for that eye opening moment. Praise God your mom is in remission, something I hope for my mom. She's doing pretty good right now with drug therapy. :)

I can honestly say I've never been at a loss for words!! :rotfl:

A MAZING!!!!! :worship:

Wow! Wow! Wow!!

Bob!! You so rocked it!!!! I'm totally blown away!! ::yes::

Thank you so much for sharing this, it totally made my day. :) You truly have inspired me and I'm sure many, many more. :thumbsup2

Thank you.

Sager, that is amazing!! Keep at it!!! I can't wait to hear about your next mini goal being met!!

Finishing up Day 2 and then on to....

Day 3!!

Finally, right?!?

Mackie and I had just finished up a great day of the Swolphin Spa for a little toe painting, shopping in DTD and having a wonderful lunch and meet!!
We were then whisked back to AoA by our sweet friend JediJill, I just call her Jill, we're tight like that. :cool2: :rotfl:

Mackie and I decided we'd like to unwind a bit and get something to eat for dinner, it had been a long day and we were both getting pretty hungry. I was anxious to try Landscapes of Flavor again to see if it could redeem it's self.

We got into some comfy clothes and jackets and took the looooong walk to LSoF, it was still pretty breezy and we figured we'd be freezing by the time we were ready to head back to the room. The jackets were a good idea. ::yes::

Again, I can't get over how amazing the weather had been those first few days of the trip. A MAZING!! :cloud9:

We both got to LSoF and I won't lie I had a really hard time deciding on what to eat again. I knew there was a lot to choose from, but none of it really sounded appealing nor did most of it sound healthy. And there is only so many salads you can eat when losing weight before you are totally turned off by them. Salad's were out. :crazy2:

Again, I finally gave up the ghost and said what the heck and got a burger, it's not what I really wanted but I also didn't want to stand there any longer. Mackie had some sort of pasta with garlic bread (which smelled heavenly) and said she really enjoyed it. :thumbsup2 The burger was meh and it was cold (pet peeve of mine), and the fries were so salty I didn't even want them. Mackie helped me out, she again said how salty she thought they were, which is saying something for that salt loving, little, goofball of mine. :lovestruc

I wish I had a better review to give, but it just wasn't that great. I think I'm with Ms. Kat when it comes to sandwiches from the food courts, they just aren't that great. :sad2: I'm sure there is an exception to the rule, but it just wasn't happening here.

We cleaned up, which isn't easy to do there at LSoF, what is with those trash cans?!? Anyone else know what I'm talking about? They really need to remedy that situation, sooo many messes around the trash cans, takes away from the magic.

As we left we decided we needed to check out the Cars section of the resort, I figured it would be about the only time we'd have before starting to hit the parks.
I wish the pictures were better, but alas I am no GB, MEK or Poolrat. :sad2:  I haven't figured out how to take pics at night very well. :upsidedow

I'll post what I have what I think you'll be able to see...

We took our time wondering through the resort on our way back to our room, it was such a beautiful night and we were loving every bit of the beautiful breeze as we walked. We made it to our room and got our stuff ready for the next day and then hit the hay, I don't even remember our heads hitting the pillows.

It was a good thing too, because the we had a pretty big day ahead of us, tomorrow was our first day to go to Magic Kingdom!!! :yay: pixiedust:

Leaving it here until I can get back here, sorry folks.

Great update and pics.

I hate the trash cans at LOF.

I love nights where it is just strolling around.

All of the weightloss stories are very inspiring.

/
I don't know what it is with the food courts...but with the exception of Pepper Market at CSR, I've not found one I like yet (well, maybe Captain Cooks at the Poly).

You got some pretty good pictures of the CARS section. I'm no where near that point in my TR, but I really liked the whole resort...to visit, not stay. ;)

Thank you, Scott. And I'm glad I'm not alone here on the trashcans. I've seen several reviews on how bad it was and I figured how bad could it really be?!? :confused3 Pret-ty bad.

That was our first night of just strolling around the resort in all the times we've been to Disney. In the past, my weight played a big part in not wanting to walk anymore than I had to, now I'm much more ready to go and see what's out there!! :thumbsup2 "AD-VENture is out THEREeeee!!"

I'm so glad the weight loss stories are gettin you going, I'm sure it makes what is about to happen for you, even more exciting!! :yay:

I know!! What is up with that?!? I wasn't impressed by any means. Oh! Except for their desserts, Mackie got a sundae and it seemed like it was a pretty good size for the price. Never did get to try the gelato. :sad2: I really wanted to try it too, oh well!!

You got some pretty good pictures of the CARS section. I'm no where near that point in my TR, but I really liked the whole resort...to visit, not stay. ;)

You're too kind Ms. Kat, my pictures lacked quality big time. I don't know what it is with that camera, I came home with some not so good pictures. I have the same camera in an older model, it takes much better pictures than this thing did. Oh well, at least I have proof we were there.

I really liked staying at AoA, I thought I wouldn't, but I found myself impressed by the resort. Now if it were the whole trip.......mmmm probably not unless I'm by myself or have no other options. I really do like the beauty and the quiet of the mods more though. ::yes::

I loved meeting Miss Camille and Miss Mackie. Camille is absolutely a hoot and Mackie is a very lovely young woman! I really enjoyed shopping with them and sharing lunch. Hopefully our paths will cross again at the World soon!

(Glad your Texans were able to pull it out today!)

Sorry the food court was disappointing. We have really enjoyed everything at SSR - but I admit we haven't eaten there very much...

I love the cute pics of you two with the Cars! I am being a bad grandma cuz I can't remember the names right now! :confused3

Wow Bob! Your transformation is amazing! It's not just the weight you lost, but the health benefits you gained! :thumbsup2 Funny, I have to admit, that I don't think I've seen pics before - but I always have pictured you from your personality as the guy in pic #1 - Now I will have to re-think your image when I read your posts! :lmao:

I can certainly relate to that. When I first starting losing my weight I ate so many salads I swear my skin was turning green. :rotfl:

I wish I had a better review to give, but it just wasn't that great. I think I'm with Ms. Kat when it comes to sandwiches from the food courts, they just aren't that great. :sad2: I'm sure there is an exception to the rule, but it just wasn't happening here.

I have to agree with you and Kathy, I have yet to find a food court I enjoy. But then again I am not a big fan of frozen hamburger patties, frozen pizza's, pieces-parts mechanically separated chicken nuggets, salty french fries, and fast food pasta dishes.:sad2:

I wish the pictures were better, but alas I am no GB, MEK or Poolrat. :sad2:  I haven't figured out how to take pics at night very well. :upsidedow

Don't feel bad, I still haven't figured out how to take day time pictures very well let alone night time pictures. :goodvibes

Leaving it here until I can get back here, sorry folks.

I will be anticipating your updates as much as I anticipate the next episode of NCIS. (yes, Kathy, I love that show as well. LOL)

Thank you! And your so right, the health benefits have been amazing and I feel better at 49 years old than I did at 25 years old.

As for pictures, there are not that many of me out there; Most camera's that manage to take a picture of me just seem to malfunction from that point on. :lmao: As for rethinking my image, naw, I'm still "Goofy" just a "little" less Goofy. :goofy:

:goodvibes Awww, thank you Jill. I sure hope we do too. :) And yes!! Texans pulled it off!! So did the Donkeys!! Blew them out of the water!!

Sorry the food court was disappointing. We have really enjoyed everything at SSR - but I admit we haven't eaten there very much...

Naaa! If that's the worst thing that happens to us on this trip, we're doing just fine! :thumbsup2 And no need to be a bad grandma if you don't know the names, that's the beauty of being grandma, you're loved no matter what. :goodvibes

I will be anticipating your updates as much as I anticipate the next episode of NCIS. (yes, Kathy, I love that show as well. LOL)

 Gaaawrsh! You are so sweet. Speaking of NCIS, I guess Ziva is leaving this season. :sad1: My hubby and Mackie like this show too.

Yes, not a fan of the foods you described either. :worried: And salads, I have to be in a salad phase before I can eat them, other wise I'm gagging every bite I take. How weird is that?!? :confused3

Thank you! And your so right, the health benefits have been amazing and I feel better at 49 years old than I did at 25 years old.

Hopefully you'll take this in the spirit it's meant in.....Bob, you're gonna have to stop making fun of yourself now, you are a handsome guy! I'm for certain your wife will agree on this! :)
You aren't a goofy looking guy at all, you may act like one, but you are no chopped liver and since you put all this work into making yourself look and feel better, start owning it, dude!! ::yes:: :cheer2:
You don't have to start carrying your own soundtrack with "I'm too sexy.." playing or anything, but owning your hard work would be good! :rotfl:

Not happy at all about Zeva leaving. :(

I'm not either. I hated when Kate was killed off. But I have to admit that Ziva was awesome. Gonna miss her on the show. :(

I know, it sucks!! Right?!? Why do they always have to kill off the women?!? :rotfl:

From my understanding they are not going to kill her off... But I am curious how they are going to do it. I hope it is not going to be a tear jerker like they are saying. If it is I may have to go into my "man cave" and watch it all alone. I don't want to lose my man card over being caught with a tear in my eye over a tv show. :lmao::rotfl2:

My understanding is she chose to leave show. I also watch Criminal Minds. I was devastated when Prentiss left and still do not like her replacement
