You just lost 80 pounds! What are you Going to do next? Ending TR

Camille,

Loved the pics of you and Mack in the Cars section of AoA!! So fun to see your sweet familiar faces!

OMG- I am blown away by all of the amazing weightloss success stories that everyone has shared. So motivating to me- I still have 93 lbs to lose to get to my goal weight and I have been stalled out since school started up for the kids. I did not adjust well to this schedule change and I need to shake myself out of it!

Bob (Goofy4Prez) THANK YOU especially for sharing your before and after pics! You are an inspiration to me too! And Camille is right- you should OWN that hard work! You deserve it!

and Emmysmommy: I am following along on your current TR and had no idea that you had had such a great weight loss of your own! Cudos to you! I think I would really enjoy running. It is my secret dream to one day run in a Disney marathon. (Well, maybe its not a secret anymore?) LOL I just need to lose a good bit before I can run on these knees!

Camille- thanks again for sharing your story and inspiring others to share theirs. Oh and BTW....I told my husband about our chat the other night at the girls' game and he is totally on board with me joining you at WDW next October for a girls weekend! I did have to agree to let him go to Colorado with his guy friends for a mountainbiking weekend, but no biggie! :)

Sheesh Camille! I'm going to blame you tomorrow when I can't get my butt out of bed to go to the office - or rather my den (since I'm working from home until my ankle heals) anyhoo... reason being... I went back and started reading from the beginning and your TR was so compelling that I COULDN'T STOP reading! :faint: Yes, all 22 pages since I'll give myself credit for the last couple of pages when I seriously started to read along.

:rotfl:

On page 8 I completely rejoiced in your fabulous reveal - the amazingness of what you accomplished is not lost on me knowing how hard this is!!

I cry every time I go back and read it, it's like I remember that moment just like it happened. It was even better than the day I stepped onto the scale (two days before we left for WDW) and saw that I had not only hit my 80 lb. goal but surpassed it by an entire lb.!! I stood there and cried with astonishment and saying that I couldn't believe I did it!! :yay: Both situations I was taken back by how emotional I became. I actually felt a little silly, but didn't care for very long, I had worked for it!! Dang it!! I was going to live out those moments!!

So sorry about your grandpa. Know that your future with him will be far more glorious than your past with him. I know you know what I mean about that great hope! :goodvibes

Thank you, and yes you're right, I'm very much look forward to that future.

Oh my gosh! The hilarity from your spa time with the "products".... If only I had the nerve to share some of the zany stuff that Em and I have enjoyed but I try not to show the completely bonkers side of me that emerges sometimes.

That was such a great moment. :goodvibes

What an awesome meet up with Jill!

It was, I'm glad I got the chance to meet her. :)

Ok, I'm pretty much ready to fully participate now that I have a clue as to what this is all about. :thumbsup2

So glad you are here. If you have time to waste, you should go and read the first handful of my PTR entries, it will give you even more perspective on how I started this journey and what all got me here. :)

(Meant for a giggle)

You can get back there again. Leisel, just set your exercise path, and plan your meals every day before the day get's started. That way you don't leave room not to do it. It truly is all about planning before your day starts.

Kris, I'm so glad you and Ladybug had a great time at the park, it's refreshing to hear someone enjoying their workouts and celebrating the process!! 57 lb. is AMAZING!! :cheer2: Keep up the amazing work!!

Howdy, fellow Dis brothers and sisters! :wave2:

Sorry it's been so long since I last did an update, I try to make sure it doesn't go over two weeks but this last week was a bit more hectic for me than I thought it would be.

Any whooo, I decided instead of starting exactly where I last left off I would start this update a bit different.

When I started planning this trip I decided we had to do some of the things we didn't get to do last trip (May 2010) and to make sure we did things we hadn't ever done, along with all the must do things we do ever trip.

I think it's safe to say most people try and do this, I'm sure most of us have the best of intentions when we start our uber Disney planning, we make our lists and set out to accomplish just that. :)
Well, y'all know how much I love my lists! And trust me, I made plenty of them along the way!! ::yes::

I always do when I'm planning over the long stretch of time I have to plan for a trip, but this time it was just the two of us, so surely we'd accomplish all the things we set out to do on our lists? Right?!?  We shall seeeeee.....

This trip I had it all planned out, we'd be sure to hit all our favorite rides and places and certainly the new attractions, we had our lists and we were set out to conquer it all!! Let's see what we got accomplished.......

I woke up bright and early and drug myself into the shower, once I was in there I was excited to see I had plenty to keep me entertained , now before you let your mind wonder to the gutter....I was in the Little Mermaid section of the AoA, and the shower walls have the most amazing mural of tiles in there, it's of Ariel's grotto/cavern, you know where she kept her whozits and whatsits galore? I knew there were some hidden Mickeys in it and had fun looking for them...

how stinkin cute is this bathroom?!? :lovestruc

Hidden Mickeys are in this somewhere...

Once I was out of the shower I rousted Mackie out of bed and told her to get her body into high gear, I didn't want to miss rope drop on your first day!! :cheer2:

We made it through getting ready in record time, breakfast was done, I donned my new Chaco's <remember this> and we were on our way out the door. :) I was so happy to see how beautiful of a day it was and I was even more excited to finally be heading to a park!! As much as I loved being there for a day and a half before heading into the parks, it does feel a bit strange to be on property and not be in a park soon after. :upsidedow

No worries!! Because all of that would be a distant memory once we were inside the Mutha-land!! :lovestruc :cloud9:

Since we had the location of our room where I wanted, we were able to walk the front of the resort sidewalk fairly quickly, I say fairly because the new shoes seemed to be slowing me down more than I wanted, as comfy as they were starting out to be, they did slow me down quite a bit, either way we were to the bus stops in no time.
I'm so happy to see they have fairly covered waiting areas, unlike at Pop. :worried: It's not like standing under the nice portico's at CSR, but it was still nice to know we didn't have to be subjected to the elements had there been any to worry about. :)

I have to say, over all I was seriously impressed with AoA, the theming is amazing, and it's just a beautiful resort.

We seemed to be fairly close the front of the line so we knew we'd be getting on the bus as soon as the next one got there.
I was so excited to finally see The Magic Kingdom!! We had been hearing about all the new updates and refurbs, anxiously awaiting the new rides to open, hearing about our Dis friends being there when they did some soft openings and now finally, it was going to be OUR TURN!! :goodvibes

This is the old sign, but it's still a beautiful sight, is it not? :cloud9:

Well, sadly folks....I must stop here. But at least I was able to get an update in so you didn't think I had forgotten about y'all.

Brenda, I so looooved talking with you last night. You are such a sweet and beautiful soul.

Wow...I'll say that the bathroom is "busy."

So glad to see you are finally arriving at a park. :goodvibes

I know the lists which you speak of. I have made and thrown away plenty of them myself. ;)

You cracked me up when you talked about being entertained in the AoA Little Mermaid shower. I've heard others talking about the hidden Mickeys in the showers there so my mind wasn't in the gutter.

The bathroom is so cute. Don't think my guys would be too thrilled to stay there though.

Now you've peaked my curiosity. Did you do what you had planned or not?

I think that bathroom is so cute although I can see where one might get a bit sensory overloaded when actually IN the shower. :lmao:

Looking forward to reading about your MK day!

there is a new MK sign? i did not know that, what did they do different to it.

Sorry if I said there is a new sign, I didn't mean to mislead you. I think it's just painted different, blue and gold now. :) I liked the pink in it! :goodvibes :lovestruc

This is what it looks like now.

Awwww Camille!! It was awesome to speak with you too! I'm so glad that our paths are crossing and I know we'll make it to a park together yet!! :goodvibes

Those Ariel bathrooms are adorable. I see what you mean about being so immersed in finding hidden Mickeys. Disney does such a great job with the details.

I was a little bummed that they changed the color of the Magic Kingdom sign. When it was pink/blue it reminds me of the color of the castle. (At least in Disneyland it is distinctly pink/blue.)

Love your reference to the Mutha-land! Brilliant!

Oh no.... foreboding... those shoes.... :scared:

Have a lovely day my friend!!

 I guess it does seem that way, but honestly, when you are in there (I think because of the color) it doesn't seem too busy. I'm sure every little girl would love taking a bath in there. :lovestruc

I know the lists which you speak of. I have made and thrown away plenty of them myself. ;)

:hug:A girl after my own heart. But wait! You go every year, what kind of lists do you make?!? I think most of mine are to pass the time since I start planning two years out from our actual trip date.

You cracked me up when you talked about being entertained in the AoA Little Mermaid shower. I've heard others talking about the hidden Mickeys in the showers there so my mind wasn't in the gutter.

Thank you, Lisa. Good to know I have someone reading with a clear conscience.

The bathroom is so cute. Don't think my guys would be too thrilled to stay there though.

:sad2: Noooo, probably not.

Now you've peaked my curiosity. Did you do what you had planned or not?

You'll soon find out!! :)

Like I was telling Ms. Kat, it really doesn't seem that bad, and trust me, I'm one that can get too much of that sort of thing. :crazy2:

Looking forward to reading about your MK day!

:goodvibes

Awwww Camille!! It was awesome to speak with you too! I'm so glad that our paths are crossing and I know we'll make it to a park together yet!! :goodvibes

I think your right, we'll make it happen when the time is right for both of us. :goodvibes

Those Ariel bathrooms are adorable. I see what you mean about being so immersed in finding hidden Mickeys. Disney does such a great job with the details.

Yes they do, I'm one to prefer the moderates over the over the top values, but it was one of the few requests Mackie made and I couldn't resist. I'm glad I didn't. :goodvibes It really was pretty amazing to see this resort after watching it being built over the two-three years span of time. :cloud9:

I was a little bummed that they changed the color of the Magic Kingdom sign. When it was pink/blue it reminds me of the color of the castle. (At least in Disneyland it is distinctly pink/blue.)

Exactly! It was reminiscent of the DL castle, or at least to us two any way. :confused3

Love your reference to the Mutha-land! Brilliant!

It's one of my favorite references to the parks. I heard it referenced once and it's stuck with me ever since. :thumbsup2

Oh no.... foreboding... those shoes.... :scared:

Have a lovely day my friend!!

The shoes....

Hope you had an amazing day too, sweet lady. :flower3:
