I tried that already and it didn't work. :(

I just "tested" to see if I could remove the BIN on an old auction and had no troubles. Wish I could be of more help. My only other advice is to make sure that there are no spaces in left in the BIN field which be a nonnumeric character ??

RE - BIN Removal

Did you by any chance select the Buy-it-Now immediate payment option that has a check-box? Mybe you need to un-check that before you can de-select BIN? Just a shot in the dark, but I found that when I started using that immediate payment option, it then restricted my ability to allow international shipping. So it could be a factor in other options.

HTH! :D

No foul language, but I did tell her I was done being a patient fool!! Gave her a last chance to send me a refund or else I was filing mail fraud charges.

....she has responded and told me basically to get my "panties out of a bunch" and get a life and to "calm down" and that there was just a "little delay" in getting the item mailed. ....

Oh, how rude!!!! That is about the worst customer service you could get, short of out-and-out theft! You were justified in your rant, and would also be justified in complaining further. Doesn't eBay policy state that a seller must ship within 30 days? Sounds like this person exceeded that by a few days.

How's her feedback, and are you planing to neg? That would be justified, IMO!

I tried.... she is no longer a registered user and even though I can still get the transaction to come up, it doesn't allow me to leave feedback.....oh well.............P

Not since my early days when I really wanted the feedback and someone reported me for spamming them LOL.

Sometimes, I don't leave feedback because I'm not thrilled with the condition of the item, or whatever. They don't really deserve a neg because of it, but I just decide not to leave it. However, if they ask me for it..I will leave it..although it's seldom what they had hoped for LOL.

Oh NO! I hope no one thinks I'm spamming them! Is it considered spam if you are writing about your transaction (only)? There were only a handful and this is what I wrote: Hi, I still have this item open in my files as feedback has not been received for this sale. Of course, feedback is not required; but I just wanted to be sure everything was okay with the transaction before I closed the transaction in my records.

I hope you are enjoying the .....!

Warm regards,

Does that sound bad?

Does anyone know how long it should take funds to appear in your bank account , after you do a transfer to your bank from Paypal?

I did this, and it says on Paylpal, completed, but the funds are not in my bank account and I'm kind of worried...

Anyone have this happen?

I believe there is a post about someone fretting over this same thing a few pages back. I recall reading it but not the outcome.

I have gotten out my statement, though, and I see that no deposit transaction appears the date Paypal says it cleared. One was 3 days later, the next 5 days later and the next 2 days later. I did not compare with the calendar as to weekends; however, this may not have a bearing on electronic transactions anyway.

Hope that helps a bit.

Thanks. I can't seem to find any useful info on this on the Paypal site, but sounds like it's a fairly common issue.

Yes, Paypal says about 4 days..could be longer depending on your bank. You'll find this info, if you click on withdraw. If you then click on the question mark you get this, as well as holidays

EFT Withdrawal Availability
Find the day you submitted your electronic funds transfer request in the left hand column. The date the funds should be available* is indicated by the check mark in that row. Note: The exact availability of your withdrawal is subject to your bank's processing schedules and funds availability policies. If you have any questions, please contact your bank's customer service department.

*This chart assumes that none of the days are holidays. PayPal follows the Federal Holiday Schedule.

I would assume most people wouldn't report you..however, if they wish too, then eBay will send you a note and a warning. I think it's because some people put their previous buyers on a list and email them when new stuff is up..and eBay is trying to protect them..so it all starts to be considered spam, once the buy/sell is completed.
I happened to luck out and get someone who reported me. I was brand new, and still scared of the eBay police.

Hey..I plan on sending everyone of my previous ebay winners a snail mail postcard announcing the opening of my website this Spring..can't find any rules against that LOL. I want those past buyers buying direct!!

I just want to be clear about the dates/timing in my post. What I meant to say was that it took the specified amount of days AFTER Paypal had indicated the transfer request was complete, not that it took that many days to complete.

usually..once Paypal says it's completed..that means they sent it. Then the count down begins.

That makes it a very long transaction indeed since it takes several days from the time one initiates it to the time Paypal says that it's complete.

Mine usually says complete no later than the next day. For instance I did a sweep on the 5th (morning)..by that evening, it said completed, and as of today, it's in my account. Maybe some banks take awhile to accept the payment from Paypal? I've never waited more than 4 business days. You don't happen to sweep on a Friday after 2, do you? Then it would take until Monday just to complete.

Funds from PayPal that I transfer to my bank account are usually available 2-3 business after I initiate the transfer.
