Leader of the Club - leave the tags on and list NWT in your auction. Items that are NWT tend to end at a higher price than those items that are NWOT. Good Luck!

When a buyer wins 2 of your auctions do you just get their e-mail and if they're paying by paypal, go to request funds, click on that and then follow the directions from there or is there another way to do it. If you do do it this way does ebay know that the item was paid for and puts the paid icon on your "my ebay page". I hope this makes sense.I have a bidder on 2 of my items who requested a deal with shipment payment if she wins both. I told her yes but again I'm clueless. The auctions end in a short while.

I just encountered this for the first time. I used the "send invoice" feature on ebay and offered to reduce the shipping by $2 since they are going to the same person. One invoice #1 I changed the shipping to reflect the revised amount. On item #2 I entered $0 for shipping. This person is paying by check so all the buy needed to do was add the two together.

Someone more familiar with PayPal will have to answer how to handle electronic forms of payment. I don't know if you can perform the same invoicing I did for my winning bidder.

Does anyone accept International bids? If so, do you ever run into any problems, certain countries that do not pay, etc? Is there alot involved regarding shipping? I received an email earlier today and asked if I would accept Canada, which I researched and accepted from him. I'm thinking of doing this for more exposure but didn't know if it would be worth it. Any help would be appreciated!

My auctions all say "ship world wide" so far though I have only had one items sent to Canada. There was only one extra document will have to fill out (takes about 2 mins if that).

I shipped one item to Mexico, when the buyer was leaving the country and I couldn't ship in time to send to her stateside address. Shipping was a few dollars more (I paid since I was the one who was late) and had to sign a document at the PO. The form just asks if the shipment is hazardous, illegal, etc., and its value. Otherwise I only ship to US. Perhaps in the future as I become more accustomed to ebay I may allow Canadian bidders.

Thanks everyone for you input! I do have another question that I posted earlier regarding the USPS Shipping Assistant. I'm using this for the first time tonight on something I need to ship tomorrow. The address/delivery confirmation label is too big for my Priority box. It looks like it has 3 sections to it: the address, the delivery confirmation# and electonic rate approval#. Am I supposed to cut into these 3 sections or just 2 or not at all? If so, does it matter where I put the DC part and the other part? If I'm not supposed to cut it, how would I put it on the box? Sideways? I know, alot of questions, but I'm so confused right now!

Do you have the program downloaded on your computer? If so you can choose to print D/C only. It is the last option on the bottom middle.

Great! That works! Thanks so much! Now, another dumb question...does it matter where I put the DC on the box? Is there a certain place the PO requires you to put it?

Re: International bidders.

My auctions state for international bidders to contact me before bidding regarding shipping (they usually don't). I have shipped to both Canada and the UK and I think maybe one other country. I've never really had any problems, except maybe a bit of slow payment. I now require them to pay through BidPay and that hasn't been any problem either. I hope this helps.

I am SOOOO Happy! This weekend has been AWESOME for auctions! I just had the coolest thing happen! I found some old magazines at a yard sale this weekend, got 43 of them for $2.00, and I listed 2 lots of them so far (still have 2 to do tomorrow), and I already have a bid on 1 of them GET THIS...5 minutes after I uploaded it from Turbo Lister! This is UNBELIEVABLE! I'm sorry for rambling, I just can't believe it! I hope everyone else is having as much luck! Sandy

Hi Sandy! Fellow Tennesseean here! Congratulations! Doesnt it feel great! The same thing happened to me the first time I listed, but it was within an hour, not minutes!

poober25...Thanks for you input! I figured there wouldn't be too many problems, but just wanted to make sure.

My wedding dress *finally* sold on ebay!! For $20 more than I paid for it (on ebay - of course) last year!

And luckily - the bidder is in Georgia, so shipping will be relatively low, so I will probably make up my fees off of that.

Just excited that that sucker is finally sold and will be OUT of my house! (It's a huge poofy dress.) :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Good morning! I hope everyone had a GREAT Ebay weekend! I need help from someone who has used the USPS Shipping Assistant. Where on my package do I put the Delivery Confirmation label? I printed my address seperately, but am not sure where the Delivery Confirmation label should go. I have a package to ship this morning. Thanks!

UGH! I meant to list a TON of fall clothing yesterday but we were out all day long. Now I am faced with the following dilemna:
List everything tomorrow (Tuesday) for only 5 days, or wait until next Sunday to list so all my auctions end the following Sunday.

Do you all think those 2 extra days will make that much of a difference? Or do you think it matters if I end them on a Sunday or not? I have done so in the past and *thought* they did better than auctions ending on other days.

Most of the items are women's clothing (Coldwater Creek, nicer clothing items) and boy's clothing (Lands End stuff, etc..) so I want to be able to do pretty good with them.

Your suggestions would be great-thanks!

Personally, I don't think that the day the auction ends has very much to do with anything. I really never pay attention and almost every item I list will sell regardless of the day it ends......many power sellers that I speak with say they just list everyday and have never noticed a difference in their sales....

Karen,
I have a family member who lists regularly either Monday or Tuesday. His reasoning is he gets full exposure for the whole weekend. Of course he sells vintage glassware which may sell well no matter what day his auctions end on.

What a night and morningI had. Every one f my auctions sold last night. Then I woke up to find that a buy it now was purchased. I had 8 items on auction and they all went. I was very surprised at one of them. Not one bid for the whole time, then I get the e mail that it was sold. THEN I started to get nervous with the packaging,dc,paypal notices, I don't know how you all do it without panicing. My oldest daughter was helping me pack. Now its all done and I'll be going to the post office with all these boxes. They all paid instantly, except 2, so I just have to wait on them. This was exciting and scary at the same time for me. Thanks again for everyones help with this.

The scanner sold! I had a bidder use BIN for $25. I also have a Diamonique ring set from QVC with a reserve of $24.99 that I listed last week. The reserve was met within hours of listing. I wonder if it will go any higher?

September will be a good month for me on ebay.
