I'm usually pretty easy-going and always looking for the good in people, but I really didn't feel like seeing this when I woke up this morning (BTW, I don't accept Personal Checks and state as much in my TOS). This was the email, edited for confidentiality:

This was my reply at 6:30 this morning:

My decision to not accept checks has nothing to do with wanting to “insult an honest man’s payment”. It relates to the timeframe involved in accepting them, and in any event it is my choice to make. If you had asked nicely, I would have made an exception.
I can’t imagine why you think that the message you sent me below would make me want to do anything extra for you. I won’t bother checking your feedback - I can see enough in your email to form an opinion.

I know somewhere in this thread someone (DMRick?) mentioned being able to have one personal & one business Paypal account. How do you go about doing this? I signed up for a second account but it will not allow me to use the same bank account # for both accounts. I was hoping to be able to do this so I can accept Credit Cards (on a limited basis). Can anyone help?

Can I have multiple PayPal accounts?

PayPal members may register for one personal account and one Premier or Business account. You may also add additional email addresses, street addresses, credit cards and bank accounts to your Personal, Premier, or Business account, however, no account may contain duplicate email addresses or financial information. If only one account is needed you may also upgrade to a Premier or Business account

I clicked on it and it is a link to eBook sales. I've often wondered about these types of products... never have purchased one. I really think that the collected knowledge in this thread has got to be as good as any single book or video or eBook there is... plus we're just such a personable bunch!

Seriously... what this thread offers in addition to tips, that no other media can recreate, is the motivation. People can achieve anything with the proper motivation... and "eBay your way to Disney" is just preaching to the choir around here!

So, DisneyJoe, thanks - that is kind of you to share, but I bet anybody determined to spend 3 days reading, cutting and pasting could compile an eBook right here!

How are people doing with halloween costumes so far? Anybody listing or ending any adult costumes this week? I have one, maybe two, to put up, and have been waiting for just the right time... they are home-made and I don't want to let them go cheap. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Just checking in and to say that I (the one who bothers everyone her with all her questions and more questions ended my auctions selling over $300.00 worth of items between yesterday and today. I'm so happy. Now I'll keep my fingers crossed for no charge backs. I can't beleive it, I'm such a dope when it comes to things like this that I'm completely shocked. I now am starting to have a nice little nest egg for my trip to disney. I know I'm still a looonnnggg way off but its a nice start and a great surprise. And I have all you great helpers to thank.....

I had a few NWT TDS kids costumes end tonight and did fairly well. I sold 1 adult costume before Labor Day (at the opening bid) and I have 1 adult costume that I've listed twice which hasn't sold. I'd say wait another week or two on the adult costumes. More people will be looking and they will probably get a higher price. But that's just my 2 cents!

I actually took the plunge and opened an eBay store My step mother used to own a jewelry store and I'm going to be selling off a lot of her inventory over the next few months. I know I still need to run auctions to drive traffic to it, etc, but I'm hoping that holiday gift shoppers will clean me out! I just opened it yesterday so I'm still waiting on the bulk of the jewelry inventory, but if anyone is interested in taking a look and giving me any feedback, PM me and I'll be happy to give you the link!

Hi, I got paid for all of my auctions and there packages are sent but they keep getting invoices from ebay telling them congratulations on winning and I prefer paypal etc. How do I stop those invoices from being sent after they already paid for the item.
