Thanks for the link! Will have to break it down into manageable blocks of time....

Once you cash them is there any way they can "bounce" like a check. With checks I wait 10 days to send the item. Should I do the same for MOs? I always thought MOS were like cash and I could ship right away once I cashed the MO.

I don't take money orders nor cashier checks cause they could SO easily be stolen.

I desperately need some advice regarding an eBay transaction.
28 days ago I purchased three items from a seller with impeccable feedback. (zero negatives out of more than 1500 transactions)(I too have zero out of more than 350) I paid the very next day and was left + feedback by the seller.
After two weeks & no items I emailed the seller. I was asked to wait for a few days more to see if the items showed up. I did so. They didn't. I informed the seller, and he assured me that he mailed the items and offered his feedback as proof. He asked me what I thought we should do about it. I wrote back that his feedback was great, but that didn't mean anything to me since I had nothing to show for it. Please verify that the items were sent.
He wrote back that he felt insulted and that I should pay the additional postage to resend the items. He also let me know that if I was unhappy with this then I could file a complaint since the items were covered by Paypal protection. I told him this was unacceptable and that I would have to leave - feedback if I filed a complaint. He wrote back that he would resend the items and chalk it up to having to deal with people like me on occasion.
Now it is two days till the 30 day marker for the items' closings. I wrote and asked the seller when did he send the replacements. His response is that he gave them to his wife yesterday to mail. Please give them 3 to 4 days to arrive. That's beyond the 30 day safety net of eBay for filing a complaint.
What should I do? I do not want to leave a - FB for him if he is legit and the items have been sent, but after the troubles I've had with him I am not sure he has. He could be pushing for the 30 day mark. It was six days ago that he said he would resend them, but only yesterday that they supposedly got mailed. I have mentioned no names to protect him just in case he is legit.
What would you do in my case?
