I started booking our flight on SW from PVD to MCO last night for our Oct trip but DD has the flu and was having a bad night so decided to put it off until today and comfort her. The rates today are $163 more for the 4 of us!!!

Last vacation we decided late on going to WDW and I could not find any decent fares so I thought I was way ahead of the game this year. The increase isn't a deal breaker but I sure could use that $163 at WDW as spending cash.

Should I wait or just book and accept the increase as just my luck? I'd hate to wait and see the price go up again.

We are July and mine went up $36 more than yesterday for our family of 4 not sure either!!

You could always book one way & hope the other way goes down that is what I am doing!

Oh my....you have plenty of time. I have to admit...I booked our Pvd=Mco for Halloween trip at a wonderful $59 bucks....but they haven't opened up the return dates yet....and I'm waiting.
Don't fret. Those prices will go up and down many times by Fall. Look on Monday nights and Tuesday mornings...those are notorious days for SW to lower fares. If you see a fare...say $99...I would personally jump on it. Then if it goes down I get a travel voucher for the difference for my next flight.
We fly back and forth every 8-9 weeks...I am tuned in to SW like a groupie. LOL

Good Luck and make a note to look each day...it may take a bit of time but the savings will be worth it.

I would definitely wait. We are also flying from PVD (in July) and got the $59 special on direct flights. Tuesdays and Thursdays have the best rates.

I was checking my flight price to re-book a decrease and noticed that Oct from PVD is between 80 and 100 right now

I checked the SW site at the start of the weekend and the flights I wanted had come down. Not as low as they were when I was originally going to book but down to $38 more(for all 4 tickets combined) so I booked. Checked again today and they are back up again but even more ...$239 (combined for the four of us). I'm glad I bought when I did but I'll keep checking hoping to see a substantial decrease.
