Hello,

not booked yet for August but hopefully soon. Anyway DD is 2.5 years and we have decided we do not need a stroller in the airport - we took one last year and it was more of a nuisance than anything. She is not the type of child to run around and thus need containing and she won't sleep in it when there is so much happening around her - so I don't need any advice telling me that I really should have one - also we took one last year and didn't really use it at the airport.

SO the question is - should I rent from Orlando Stroller Rentals - delivered to hotel therefore no hassle of finding one in supermarket for $117.70 or should I go to Walmart or similar? I would preferably like one that reclines with a decent storage basket and a sun canopy.

Any ideas or advice appreciated - thanks Kay

When I took my friends child last October I picked up a stroller just like the one in this link just a different color http://www.walmart.com/ip/Jeep-Cherokee-Sport-Stroller/15754207 It worked out at $53 with tax you can check your local walmart too see if they are in stock :)

Just some info on this stroller it folds with one hand it had a decent size basket and little storage bags on the side also two cup holders up top and one for child.

We bought a City Mini that Orlando Stroller rentals use and have done 2 weeks at Disney with it - and I can honestly say it is the best stroller I have ever used.

It is so easy to push and folds in an instant - you pull up a strap in the seat and it flips in half. Loved it  and so glad I bought it and don't have to give it back!

We met with John at Owner Locker and they do stroller rentals too and I know they have just purchased a lot of new strollers. Their strollers looked in better condition in the park too. Magic Strollers by Owners Locker.

we looked into buying the city jogger one but went with the petite star zia instead as its alot smaller and so easy to carry on and off the buses, it did dd fine for 2 weeks and she slept great in it. I got it from nursery value direct for £70 and checked it in with the luggage as i wanted to wear dd out. so that might be an idea if you wanted something cheap and then you wouldnt have the hassle of buying it when you got there.

Take one with you. Either buy a cheaper one or check out charity shops/ebay. Go to Mothercare and buy a buggy bag. When you come home you wont believe how much stuff you can get in that buggy bag along with your buggy and save on the excess baggage!
