What part of the ride is spinning? All of it? Or just after or before take off?

The whole darned thing is spinning, but if you keep your head straight and your eyes on your monitor, you won't feel the spinning at all. It's very hard to describe, but the video in front of you convinces you your body is moving upward (or downward) rather than spinning in a circle. It's quite amazing, really!

I have riden M:S, so know what to expect. But just trying to figure out when it spins.
I am wondering when guest are seated in the ride cabin, and once M:S begins, if the cabins rotate into a different position, then are tilted up and down, like most simulators. Then once guests blast off, is that when the spinning starts, I wonder?

It begins to spin right after the lift off and stops spinning right after you land. The whole thing tilts yaws and pitches to make it feel like you are with 2.5G or -G. It is totally awesome.
