YES, touring Cinderella’s Dream Suite was Amazing!+14 Other Magical Days* Dismeet & Wrap

Enjoy your upcoming trip!!!!!!!

I'm sorry you didn't love your BOG meal but I am SOOOO glad you enjoyed tea!!! It's one of my absolute favorite things to do and I think we may have had the same server :)

I bypassed reading the behind-the-scenes stuff for the KTTK tour because I would really like to do that myself someday. Sounds like you had a great time!!

Oh, and I love that dress you're wearing in your Dismeet! Really cute and not at all something I could ever pull off. I'm jealous of people who look cute in cute clothes.

Hi Brenda,

I have been reading your trip report for a while. It looks like you and your daughter have so much fun!!! I have a 12 year old girl and a 15 years old son. My daughter and I did the afternoon tea when we were there in March. We absolutely loved it and are making it a tradition!! The strawberries and cream were to die for!! Like you, I was hesitant about the curried chicken sandwich. It was seriously good!! I can't wait to hear about your next trip! We are going back in November but it will just be the hubby and I!!! Soooo excited for that one!! Have a great time!!

I loved hearing about your KTTK tour. I've been meaning to do that forever. It definitely seems like it was worth it, though I don't know if I could handle seeing headless characters! :lmao:

GORGEOUS!!!

What a nice end to the night. Taking the ferry to the TTC and then the monorail sounds like a fun, albeit round-about way back to your room.

Smart move on breakfast, and I love the pictures of the EWP.

Thanks Dee. It was not only an item on my must do list but it was a great perspective to take photos of the various monorail resorts.

I should load video of the EWP sometime in case people are not familiar with the soundtrack that accompanies the show.

OK, first a shoutout for the way you blocked out the text with the "behind the scenes" stuff from the KTTW tour. A trip report with special effects- SUPER COOL!!!

I, of course, read it all and appreciate everything that you shared with us.

The tour sounds wonderful and is something that I will have to do someday, either with the kids in tow or just Mark and me. The boys aren't quite old enough yet (Nate will be 16 in July, Ben is almost 13) but I think Ben would really love to do this when he is old enough.

We had the same "no camera" ban when we went backstage at Haunted Mansion during the 8th grade class trip. All of the students looked at me and said "Don't you dare take pictures" Moi??? But like you, I was a good rule follower.

I love that the tour has lunch at Columbia Harbor House. Isn't that upstairs eating area a hidden gem? I was surprised at how big it is and I don't think a lot of people know it is there.

I ordered the hummus sandwich by mistake once- I meant to get the tuna, but I was clever and thought I would order by name "The Lighthouse, please"- which turned out to be the hummus and not the "Anchors, Aweigh" tuna.

Another wonderful day, with your tea party and trip to DTD, but I'm sorry you didn't have a chance to eat anything!

Thanks Dee! I figured it was a wiser option to preserve the mystery and fun facts for those that are planning to do the tour. I can see Ben loving that tour and even doing a Power point presentation on why it is necessary when he turns 16!

As much as I wanted to take photos, I don't want the embarrassment of being called out and sent to time out so I left the camera in my bag.

Oops! That's probably a disappointment to want tuna and get hummus. Not sure if they do this for all the hummus sandwiches but there was a LOT of hummus loaded on it. Too much for Em.

Tea was lovely. That was the first time we tried it and had to return in December with some other Dis ladies. I've booked it again in late July.

Wow, you've been busy updating!

My husband and I took the Keys to the Kingdom tour a couple of years ago and it was so interesting. I do wish you could take photos at least when you are on stage as it's hard to remember a lot of it now. I'm like you, I wanted to secretly break off in the utilidors and go exploring. I promise I won't tell anyone what I see.

I ventured over to read your dining review of the tea at GF. It looks wonderful and a nice relaxing time. I think it is going on my list of things to do.

Have fun on your upcoming trip, we can't wait to hear all about it!

Christine

Hi Christine! It is odd that they didn't allow photos on-stage (at least our guide) even but I think they just want to make sure people don't have their cameras out all the time and are tempted to photo stuff back-stage.

I loved the afternoon tea! It was a great mother/daughter experience. Keep it on your list. :)

Thank you! We'll be on our way in 48 hours. :cheer2:

Your tour looked wonderful and so interesting! I would love to take that someday. Rae was one of our guides for the Castle Suite. We didn't get to spend much time with her, she basically just escorted us from the Suite to CRT.
Tea time is something else I would love to do someday with my daughter.

Have a great trip!

Hi Kristy! I know the plaids have various duties so I'm glad you encountered her as well.

Afternoon Tea with Alexa would be a great experience! :thumbsup2

I'm glad you didn't get soaked on after doing a survey. :thumbsup2

Beautiful nighttime pictures and a spectacular view from your balcony for the Electric Pagent.

I like your breakfast; sometimes it is best to keep it simple.

I'm glad you enjoyed the tour as much as we did. It was truly a highlight for us and we are so glad we did it. We'll probably do it again in a couple of years (this year we are doing the Backstage Safari Tour at the Animal Kingdom).

I'm proud of you for not sneaking out the camera.

You, bashful? When did that happen? :lmao:

We looked into the Tea for the girls, but they (like me) are too fussy.

Love the shopping at DTD; did you buy that t-shirt for Michael? It suits him I'd say. ;)

Yes, we escaped the survey dry.

Since the EWP goes through both Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon no matter the room view at BLT you will have a good view of this night time show.

I agree, sometimes a no fuss breakfast is a great option. I need to actually cook breakfast in the villa one day. That would be a shocker for Michael if I did that this trip.

Your tour guide allowed cameras on-stage right? I think I recall that.... but yes, I was a very obedient girl.

I can't wait to hear about your Back Stage Safari tour. I imagine it will be fantastic! I almost booked the Wild Trek Africa tour this trip but couldn't squeeze it into our plans.

If bashful described me someone better check my temperature! :rotfl2:

I'm a tad picky as well so I subbed some of the sandwiches at the afternoon tea since I won't eat salmon. If you want only 1 kind of sandwich they'll do that for you. I also ordered a drink from the bar so if you are not really into tea you could do that. Then afternoon tea turns into afternoon snacks with a cocktail! But the desserts are awesome!!

I bought Michael the T-Rex shirt and a Donald shirt.

Rae is an awesome tour guide! I had her for Keys a few years a ago and then ran into during the previews for NFL where she took us on a personal tour of all the Hidden Mickeys in NFL! I do know prior to her tour guide duties she was a special friend to the Fairy Godmother. :)

Tea looks so good. I love doing it every time I go to WDW.

Jill in CO

Oh wow! That's awesome that Rae took you on a personal tour of NFL! What a special treat.

Yes, she was a special friend of the fairy Godmother as well as one of the Citizens of Main Street - Miss Tabby. I think she may have been close friends with others as well.

I remember that you've done tea as well. See? You must be a fan too!

Brenda! I'm still here reading along!
Love the updates... Hate the rule about no photos on the tour though!!
Day 12 is my kind of day... Tour, Tea, shopping! Perfect!!!!

Enjoy your upcoming trip!

Hi Amy! When you summarize our day that way it does sound fabulous. :) I was worried that we were packing too much into the day but it ended up fine.

Thank you! I think with minimal effort we should have some fun!

Popping out of lurkdom to let you know how much I loved these updates! The KTTW updates were amazing - and not something I ever expect to get to do, so I wasn't at all worried about getting spoiled. I was concerned about being able to read it on my Kindle bc I never seem to be able to highlight on purpose :confused3 but it worked out fine! Yay!!

Also - I just loved that Goofy shirt. Mostly bc I just not back and missed a FP+ because we got stuck on the wrong side from the parade. Because apparently they add a noon parade during Easter week and I had forgotten to grab a times guide. Oops.

Lovely! the tour sounds great and it looks like y'all had a good time with it :goodvibes. I was more excited to hear about the tea though..... We are going in September and I can't wait! Now I just have to decide whether to go all out and buy hats for the occasion....:lmao:

Okay I have been lurking for a while now, I must say I love your report! Next trip down to WDW in Sept we are doing the Keys to the Kingdom and I cannot wait. I did skip over your comments on the tour as I want to see it with fresh eyes! Anyway just thought I would say hi :wave2: Have fun during your next trip!:goodvibes

Hi MonsterWDWmom! Thank you for reading and coming out of lurkdom to comment! :)

I guarantee you will LOVE the tour. How exciting. I hope you have an awesome tour guide. I think they only have the best of the best do these tours.

Thanks for saying hi and for the well wishes for our trip!

Hmmm.... Interesting that the photo you took of the survey was Mayor Weaver... :scratchin
.
Hmmmm indeed. He was the face of Main Street Entertainment.

In fairness to Em, the killing time via phone is no longer the sole domain of teenagers. Sad. :worried:

I may be in the minority but I rarely have my phone out... I just don't have much interest in being occupied with social media or surfing the web when I'm enjoying my day. My DH on the other hand, I should do a little experiment and see how many random candid photos I get with him and his phone. Em must get it from him! :lmao:

YES, congratulations on taking the Ferry. :thumbsup2
Checked off the list - finally!

Curious, did anyone ask for any confirmation number or anything when you entered the park? They didn't for me, so I'm curious if they ever do. Also, I'm considering pretending I have a tour so I can get in early, lol.

Nope. No one has ever asked for any of the pre-park open dining or tours that we've had at MK. Which is completely different than Epcot that has a list at the breakfast entrance. Which tells me that anyone could walk in early.

Which reminds me of a photo that my friend Dean shared of a nearly empty park when Mayor Weaver was going to do the park open. The person who took the photo didn't have a tour or breakfast ADR - ooooo I'm telling! So yes, you could mingle with the park guests that have dining and tour plans.

MayorWeaver.jpg

Oh wow, they wouldn't even let you use your camera on stage???? That's a new one to me.
Nope! Cameras had to be put away. Next time I need to ask to be part of the KTTK tour group that has a guide that does allow cameras on stage. It makes it easier to remember the details and stories of the tour when you at least have a bread crumb trail of photos.

YAY BARB!!!!
:dancer: <---- Barb

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... and also OY. I've actually become quite proud of that Faux Pas now since it will probably outlive me, so any time you can leave a legacy, that's a good thing... right?!! Plus, who could complain about being mentioned in an emmysmommy TR. That's a honour right there! :flower3:
It's your DISboard legacy my friend! I'll try to refrain from future references...;)

Your backstage at the Splash Gate sounded incredible. Headless characters, Move It Shake It floats, AND Boo to You rehearsing. I'd be dying!!!!

Brenda, I LOVED your Keys Tour recap so much!!! There's always some subtle differences (and even some big ones) between every tour I think.
It was a lot to take in all in one back-stage area. I really wanted to see the parade rehearsal, I could have just camped out for that. But the characters were the most fascinating part of the entire tour. I loved putting a face behind a head. :rotfl2:

Finally... WOW... a whole day update in one shot. Colour me impressed.

Ha ha! I need to get this thing wrapped up. Like I said to someone this thing is lingering so long that someone could have gotten pregnant and given birth since this thing started.

Thanks for hanging in there!

Keys to the Kingdom tour sounds like something I'd like to do. Maybe we can include that on our Mother/Daughter trip in December.

Hi Susan! I'm sure you would love it! So many great facts, stories, and back stage magic. I wonder if they also have holiday versions of these tours. In DL they do. At least December is a much cooler time to do one of these tours.

Love your posts about the tour!! I can't wait til my boys are old enough for all of us to do it together!

We have seen the CM you took pictures with before your tour. She is so much fun and is always dancing! LOVE her!!

Thanks for sharing your day with us!

Thanks Bridget! It would be a great family tour when the boys are older.

Ahhh Barb! She IS awesome. She's now on the Magic Express bus video. She's really made her mark on Disney vacationing.

Brenda,
You sure do good work at 2am. Great updates! Love thevt-shirt for your husband. I loved the keys to the kingdom tour. Glad you and Em liked yours. I am trying to decide on a tour andl might just stay ak concierge just to get to take the sunrise or sunset safari. Just cant decide.:confused3

Ha ha! I seem to find most of my DIS time late at night. It's a wonder I make any sense at all.

If I had to choose between the 2 tours I'd do the KTTK. Only because it is so Disney immersive, includes the back-stage and Utilidoors parts and lunch. The sunrise safari is great and we loved it but if I had to chose it would be KTTK. And it's longer. HOWEVER... that's a tough choice. Good luck choosing.

that was smart of you to get breakfast the night before given your early morning.
I'm a planner that way! Or just knew I'd be lazy in the morning.

So glad you enjoyed the tour .... definitely one I have to do some day as I love all of the Disney History especially when it comes to the building of the parks, attractions, etc.

The tour sounds very neat and a good mix of humor and serious bits
It was an AWESOME tour. You'd love it. There's more trivia than I can even remember included in the 5 hours.

I was following along a bit with your "behind the scenes trivia" and had a comment on that, so I will put it in white as well:

So I always knew that the dip in Pirates was to go under the railroad but never really put 2 + 2 together that the tunnel the train goes through is just to hide teh fact you are going "over" Pirates at that point ....

... so I pulled up Google Maps and zoomed in on the Magic Kingdom and you can see it plain as day there. Very Cool!

BTW - Google needs to update their image of WDW as it still is showing the first part of New Fantasy Land under construction ;)
:rotfl2: Nice!

Bummer about not getting food at DTD ... but love the t-shirt you got for your DH[/QUOTE]

Considering it would have been our 4th meal of the day (if you count tea as a meal) we weren't in danger of withering away.

My DH isn't picky so it's easy to shop for him. And I'm sure he cherishes every gift that I give him! :rotfl:

Wonderful update! I really wish they allowed cameras for the "on stage" stuff. Oh well. I just told my friend next time we go we have to do the KTTK tour. She is not opposed!

Too bad about missing dinner! I hope you weren't too hungry later.

If you can fit a 5 hour tour into your park day it is a FANTASTIC tour.

I think we figured we'd just tough it out and go to sleep and be ready for breakfast the next day. Sometimes the thought of food is more compelling than actually being hungry.

Love the update and the info on the KTTK tour. DW and I did the Backstage Magic tour and part of it is visiting the Utilidors. We need to take the KTTK tour now to learn more about MK!

Hi Bill! I want to book the Backstage Magic Tour for July. It goes to all 4 parks so what could be more amazing than that. Since it's 7 hours Em is unsure she wants that long of a tour. I'm thinking I don't see a problem with it. :confused3

BTW: Loved reading about your DISmeet with MEK. It was great to see a photo of you and your lovely wife. :)

Great update! I love your pictures of the water parade. I love that to the extent that watching it from the Poly Beach is on my "imaginary" itinerary for my imaginary trip in February. ;-)

Hi KristinAnne! Ha ha your imaginary itinerary. The Poly beach would be a great location to view it. I've seen it from Narcooses as well and it was a great perspective.

Awwww - you got to meet my roomie Cynthia! :cool1: How fun! I can't believe she's capping off a DL trip and in just a couple weeks we will be heading to WDW together! :thumbsup2

Is she tan in that picture? I'm jealous! :rotfl:

I did and it was great! I mentioned to Cynthia that I would love to meet you one day as well! Yep, we talked about your upcoming trip and your 18 month rotation between F&G and F&W. You guys have a great plan worked out. :thumbsup2

Yep, she's tan, fit, thin, adorable, intelligent... she's got it all. ::yes::

Great recap of the KTTK tour. I did that tour quite awhile ago - in 2006 or 2007. I was on a solo trip and managed to get in due to a cancelation. Thanks for refreshing my memory. I loved it and it certainly was made even better by the fact that it was January and the weather was PERFECT. Someday I'd like to do it again with Denny!

Thanks! That would be a great tour for both of you. There were mostly married couples on our tour. Now I'm wishing I would have booked a tour with me and my hubby since he's only good for a Disney trip once every few years.

In case I'm not on before Monday, have a wonderful trip! Wish our dates coincided so we could say hello. Maybe in the future! :confused3

Wow, getting to see both the Dream Suite and going on the Keys to the Kingdom tour in one trip is pretty phenomenal. And that's not even considering how many amazing resorts you got to stay at. Is it safe to say I'm a teensy jealous of this Disney vacation? :rotfl2:

I'm such a sucker for Disney information. Loved the little tidbits you provided. I had no idea about the railroad and POTC. Very interesting. :thumbsup2

First of all, what a great update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And here's the other half of the MEK/eandesmom duo!

Thanks Cynthia!

I am glad the survey jinx was not in fact, a jinx and you stayed dry.

Ahhhhh sugar corn pops! The stuff my childhood fantasies were made of.
I'm more a Cap 'n Crunch kinda gal, that's what I remember from childhood. Em is the sugar corn pops lover. I prefer unsweetened cereal for breakfast. However, put a Mickey waffle in front of me and that thing has syrup all over it. :confused3

LOVED your write up of the tour, it truly sounds magical.

Except for the headless character

That happened to Evan this trip. Apparently while tours have a 16yo cut off, I guess the HS bands don't have that?

He is scarred for life. Ok not really but he did have some interesting commentary about backstage DL.

Oh, I want to hear about Evan's tour and what encounter he had. Now I'm curious!

KTTK was a great tour. It was the perfect length of time for everything that they fit in.

You have the cutest dresses! Love the one you have on at the tea. I am :rotfl: over the PB&J.

Thanks! I got that dress ON SALE at the YC gift shop. I didn't think they ever had things on sale. I practically HAD to purchase it.

Definitely not a legend!
Add humble to your list of attributes!! :)

I was so happy it was all 3 of you!!!!!!! Huge treat.

Awwww... honestly, it was a pleasure. I'm so glad your son's band had this gig in DL so that we had the opportunity to meet up. I hope it's not the last time... I'd love to spend more time meeting up in the future.

Poor Michael felt bad since he didn't really talk much since he couldn't hear the conversation from where he was seated.

Yes, the Trader Sam's idea was not a good one given that it was dinner time and Saturday night. I was so thrilled you made it to Uva and were able to stay long enough for a drink. Truly made my night. I can't begin to say how much I enjoyed chatting with you and Emmy. You are both just as beautiful, and sweet, and funny in person. And had even bought adorable tops! I was so bummed, your lovely purchases made me want to pop in there all week and it never worked out. For which my wallet is likely grateful but still!

I am so happy it worked out and we had more time than just the photo and hug!!! Just a lovely evening with lovely ladies (and a pretty nice guy too!)
I think being Spring Break factored in as well at Trader Sams. Hopefully you made it back there during your trip since it's a fun place.

You are too sweet. I am completely jealous of how awesome you look! I can't run enough to be as fit as you.

I agree, offical Ambassadress!
:lmao:

We took the KTTW tour in March and really enjoyed it. They were filming the TV show "The Middle" the day we were there and we saw the three actors would play the parents and Axl behind the scenes, walking to their tour buses. Patricia Heaton walked right past us. :)

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

Oh wow! I love The Middle! I didn't know that - if it hasn't already aired I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for it. I was a huge fan of Everybody Loves Raymond so I love Patricia Heaton. How exciting. Did you get any photos or did you have cameras put away? :)

OMG I think I was the one completely confused. Too funny! :rotfl:

Love your DisMeet with Cynthia! I can't WAIT for the day I get to go to DL! Once again, I just admire your hospitality and social abilities to make the time to meet up with so many Dis'ers and have such pleasant times! I'm super outgoing but I start off super shy and take a while to feel comfortable, so I do admire that quality in others!

Love the KTTK tour! Hopefully it's still around by the time Landon is either big enough or I do go on an adults-only trip! So fascinating all the stuff you learn! I love Disney! There's so much history and Walt's life is like the ultimate fairy tale...with the best happy ending ever because the good times just keep on going! I love the legacy he left for us to enjoy. Now I'm feeling sappy, so I should stop here.

Hi Kimmy! When I was younger I think I was a little more reserved and not so outgoing but the older I get the more I've outgrown that. By the time I'm 65 I'll be really annoying! In my job I've had to learn to be more that way since I need to interact with top level decision makers at the executive level. I wasn't that way 24 years ago when I started my job - at all!

If they don't have the KTTK tour in 10 years or so I'm sure they would have something even better for you, Landon, and Garrett.

I love the way you shared your thoughts on Walt and his legacy. So many people enjoy the wonder and the magic of Disney thanks to that man's dreams. Now you're making me sappy!

Hi Brenda! Hope you have another fun trip to the World in a couple of weeks!

I agree with Rob, I think "DIS meet with Brenda" is becoming a permanent fixture in touring plans for DISers. ;) Won't be too long before Touringplans.com starts including it.

Great update on the tour! I haven't even started looking at all of the tour options at WDW since we still have a few more years before both of our kids meet the age requirement. The first tour I really would like to try is one of the tours at AK!

Thank you Dave. I hope it is. It's getting warm there... goodness, you'd think it was summer already.

Ha ha! Yeah, no.

I think your Pirate and Pals cruise was a great "tour" that you did even if the fog obscured WISHES. There may be other kid friendly tours available but I don't recall.

The Wild Trek Africa or Sunrise Safari (for AK CL guests) or the Back stage safari tour are some awesome options! I'd love to do the Wild Trek Africa tour.

Thank you Sue! I don't think that will be a problem.

I LOVE afternoon tea. I didn't think it would be something my hubby would like so we are passing it up this trip. The gal we had was cute and chatty.

No problem... I probably still shared too much of the KTTK tour that wasn't "hidden" but it is a great way to be immersed in Disney for 5 hours.

Silly - I disagree. You could wear that sundress. :) You look absolutely great in your TR.

Thank you Tinercc! Em and I enjoy our trips together.

What a great tradition to start having tea with your DD!

Ohhh wasn't that strawberries and cream amazing? I tried the trifle in December but prefer the strawberries. Plus the presentation is so lovely.

The chicken sandwich was a complete surprise and I'm glad that I didn't sub that to start. It was so good that I was glad Em didn't want hers. Worked for me.

This next trip is a couples trip so it will be very different than how Em and I tour. My hubby is more laid back and likes to take it slow with no plans. So not mine and Em's style. For him, I'll slow it down. I want him to come back with me again!

November is a great time to go to WDW with the holiday decorations and cooler temps. Enjoy your planning and anticipation!

I loved hearing about your KTTK tour. I've been meaning to do that forever. It definitely seems like it was worth it, though I don't know if I could handle seeing headless characters! :lmao:

Hi Marissa! You would LOVE that tour! Although a headless character is a risk for the back-stage area. We saw more than a few.

Oops.

Hi there jdfmommy! Thank you for coming out of lurkdom! I'm so glad that you are here and letting me know that you are reading. :)

Glad the highlighting worked out on your Kindle otherwise I may have had to PM you the text! ;)

Did you have a great trip? Other than the parade situation? That tells me the crowds had to be huge if they added on a noon parade. Yikes! Hopefully they extended park hours if the crowd levels were high.

Thanks again for reading along!

Lovely! the tour sounds great and it looks like y'all had a good time with it :goodvibes. I was more excited to hear about the tea though..... We are going in September and I can't wait! Now I just have to decide whether to go all out and buy hats for the occasion....:lmao:

Hi Raina! Oh my gosh, hats would be adorable for tea. The tea room is so lovely so hats and nice dresses would be perfectly suited to the décor. :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2

Thank you Alicia! I appreciate that.

I know, we'll be leaving right before you arrive. And we even added on an additional night at the end of our trip. I could have added another and then we'd leave on the 10th; however, right now we leave on the 9th. Maybe another time for sure!

We'd wanted a couple tours this trip since we hadn't taken any before so between the Sunrise Safari and the KTTK we were very happy. Throwing in the Dream Suite was just pure luck that we couldn't anticipate but were very grateful. :)

Glad to share the details for my Disney loving pals! I know there are so many other details that I may have missed or couldn't possibly share or I would have written a book!

Thanks for sharing that you enjoyed it.

I need to catch up with your TR. If I don't make it over there, I wish safe travels to you and enjoy your Disney time as well.

Amazing summary of your KTTK tour!!! So many of us Disers have been on that tour in the recent months (or, rather, reported on the tour in the recent months! ;) ) and I'm beginning to feel left out! :rotfl: It's definitely on my must-do list though and your report of it makes me want to get on that sooner than later. It's neat also because all of you have mentioned different things about the tour so I've really enjoyed reading from different perspectives.

Your tea at GF looked amazing!!! I would have absolutely ordered a PBJ finger sandwich as well! :thumbsup2

Good jab at Rob for his bathroom... shall we say "mishap?"

Well it's official, you have convinced me to try both the tour and the Afternoon Tea at the GF!! So excited that another trip is literally right around the corner for you guys...and we will live vicariously thru you :goodvibes

Monday August 26, 2013: Day 11, Part 5

Let’s wrap up day 11 so I can squeeze in day 12’s activities with several updates before I leave on Monday for our next WDW trip. :yay:

Brenda, I have some serious catching up to do here on your thread. ;)

I hope you have a wonderful time on your WDW trip and look forward to reading about it and seeing all the great pictures you decide to share. :thumbsup2

Your pictures of your stay at the CR really have me excited about my own trip coming up the beginning of June. I booked the CR with some caution, but the closer we are to being there the more excited I'm becoming. Your pictures are awesome. Again, have a great time.

Great update! Loved reading about the KTTW tour since we can't do it for another 6 years. But if Jason and I go alone again that is something we want to do. We are however thinking of doing the backstage one in Epcot this September.

I cannot believe the view of the castle from the walkway and of the EWP from your balcony! Gorgeous!
Thanks for the factoids from your tour! I always go back and forth on whether I want the magic "ruined" by taking a tour or if I want to learn some fantastic Disney history. Awesome you spotted where Tink lands! That was the best part of the WDP party for me-- she flies right over the Tomorrowland Terrace.
Have a wonderful trip!!

We loved our KOTK tour a few years ago! Isn't it amazing how much thought goes into every single detail? I know that beforehand, but had a whole new appreciation after the tour was over!! :lovestruc

Thank you for that amazing update! I wanted to do the KTTK tour on our last trip but my kids were too young and I'd have to go by myself. Fast forward four years and they are 16,14 and 11 so they are having a morning of touring by themselves and my husband and I are taking the KTTK tour! I booked it this morning. I was so inspired and interested by your report I decided I needed to do it. So thanks, Brenda!

What a lovely day you two had, the tour sounds great and if I wasn't going in the middle of the summer when it's going to be hotter than hot it's definitely something I'd like to do. I did do a tour during my training but it was designed especially for us so it'd be great to do another - plus I can't hardly remember a thing :rotfl2:

Wow, what a great day! I would love to do both the tour plus the tea. I know neither will make my 2015 trip. Chris thinks the tour would ruin the magic. He wants to wait till we have more visits. He would laugh at me if I suggested the tea.
I always thought you we a nicer person then me. I don't slow down for Chris. I already told him he can sleep as much as he wants. When I am ready to go to the parks I plan on going or staying later. I took it slow my first trip and it drove me nuts. Elizabeth kept up just fine. Hope you have a magical time!
