YES, touring Cinderella’s Dream Suite was Amazing!+14 Other Magical Days* Dismeet & Wrap

Liberty Bell has just made it to my list. We have never done it. I don't even remember doing it all those visit as a child in DL.
LT always sounds good but gets cut before ADRS get made. Maybe this time. I really need to go more often of longer.

I loved reading about the Liberty Belle. We'll definitely have to try that next time!

LTT has never appealed to me, but that dessert does look tasty!

It hasn't changed much in the last 41 years, except that it doesn't burn anymore. ;)

But the area around it sure has changed.

That is cool!

DH and I were talking about what we would do if we were taking an adults only trip the other day and he said *gasp* we would only need to spend one day at the MK! If only he knew how much he has been missing!! The LB seems like such a relaxing way to see some MK sights, although I think I wold be with Em down in the shade!!

WOW! What a trip report. I like your personality :)

You go so into detail I feel like I am actually there. Thanks for putting all this effort in to it! You're keeping my Disney cravings satiated.

P.S. I had Christopher as my server at CRT on my second trip to WDW, and only trip to CRT. He is AMAZING. So glad to see he is still there. You know an awful lot about requesting servers, how could I do that there...if at all?

Wow, you can see so much from the Liberty Belle! I always love the different perspectives of Big Thunder...it's hard to enjoy all the beauty around it as you are zooming around! I just love Adventureland!!

I have not abandoned this report... I've just had a very busy week (like who doesn't anymore right?) We've had a few celebrations in our house, back-to-back nights with client dinners (I'd rather eat mac & cheese at home instead of dining with clients at snobby restaurants if truth be told!) and am trying to squeeze in a few extra miles of running this week which all totaled have limited my DIS time.

I'm planning to squeeze in a few updates before leaving in 11 days.

So onto some replies and then tomorrow I hope to update.

We took a ride on the Liberty Belle on our January trip since it was just about to sail and we had time to kill before our HM fp. I was surprised to see how many interesting things you can see from the boat. The story about Wilson's Cave is very interesting. I remember seeing it in the movie "How the West was Won."

I started up a conversation with a very enthusiastic CM at one of the stores. It was her last day and she had loved her DCP experience. Our son did this program and not everyone has as nice a job as she does. Some of the positions they give the interns are not very exciting. But it is a good experience, none the less. :)

Offsite guests can now book their fp+ experiences thirty days ahead of time. They just have to create an MDE account and link their tickets to it.

That's cool to see a reference to Wilson's Cave in a movie. I'll have to look that up since now I'm officially fascinated. I know I missed a lot of the scenery and sets since I didn't move too much from side to side on the boat.

I didn't know your son did DCP, what a great experience unless he had a job that was cleaning up after the horses on Main Street. ;) I suppose they don't always offer the dream jobs.

This is cool. I don't think I ever noticed it before. I haven't been on the Liberty Belle for quite awhile but you can definitely get some great pictures from there. Love them all! Now I think I need to make a visit next month!

These are very cool. I love the way you used them for such a creative photo-op. I may need to copy that! :thumbsup2

Fun update! Always good to cross something off the bucket list!

There's such great scenery. You would have a field day with your camera. Bring your zoom lens!

Not sure why I started taking those photos every trip other than I was bored before our dining reservation. :confused3

I love the Liberty Belle, even though we've only ridden it a couple of times. It seems like it's one of those attractions you never have enough time to squeeze in.

Thanks for the info on Wilson's Cave Inn. Interesting.

Yummy looking lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. We prefer lunch to the gluttonfest dinner there.

The Liberty Belle is one of those attractions that doesn't get a lot of attention since I think it only departs a couple times an hour and unless you sync up the departure you really can't be in a rush to go anywhere else anytime soon. It really is a nice way to take a relaxing spin around Tom Sawyer Island.

You bet! I was curious so I'm glad to share my findings.

I've not tried dinner at LTT since I'm only good for a turkey dinner once or twice a year. Plus I can't order the ooey gooey toffee cake at dinner so it's a deal breaker!

Hunter and I took a spin on the Liberty Belle on our second trip. He wasn't feeling so well so it was nice to relax. I just wish there was sitting on that boat!

One thing on my bucket list is to visit Tom Sawyer Island. I haven't done that on either coast!

You could be my exhibit A for my comment above! I agree, if you want to just relax for a period of time it's a great way to do so.

I'm with you, I've not done Tom Sawyer Island at MK. We've done it at DL many times although not since they re-themed it as a pirate lair. I wonder if the guys have any interest to take a raft ride over there???

Kudos to you for being able to cross off a Must-Do from your list. :thumbsup2 There's usually those few attractions and/or sights that you mean to try every trip and yet you never do.
I'll admit, I have never been on the Liberty Belle before (my baby has, though!:rolleyes2) but it looks like there's a lot of interesting sights to be seen. When I saw some of your pictures, they really reminded me of some of Walt's original plans for the parks and what he wanted showcased. :goodvibes

That dessert...wow. It looks delicious.

Why thank you. Glad to accomplish yet one more thing on the list. I agree, it's not like it's so popular that you need a FP for the boat.

I definitely think that back in the day when Walt was designing the parks that the riverboat was an important part of his plans since he was a huge Mark Twain fan. It just makes sense that the majestic riverboat is a tribute to what Walt loved and envisioned for the park. Same with Tom Sawyer Island since that was another vision of Walt's with the original DL park that had a Western themed areas of Frontierland when it first opened.

Oh YES! That dessert is pretty awesome!

Caught that huh? ;)

Great pics from the Liberty Belle- Congrats on crossing another item off your must do list. I've never ridden it- it's on my list for this August (depending on how hot out it is)

I'm observant like that!

Thanks, it was about time that we tried the Liberty Belle! You can always duck below and enjoy the shade in August. It was pretty hot up in the sun.

It's been too long since we have enjoyed that relaxing ride on the Riverboat! Such a nice respite from the hustle & bustle of the park. :goodvibes

I absolutely LOVE these pictures, Brenda!!

How sweet! I bet that made her so happy that y'all wanted photos with her.

Lovely update! I smiled the whole time I was scrolling through! :goodvibes

It's a great ride if you have a little one asleep in a stroller. With your DH's photo skills it would be a great photo op.

Thanks Kristy.

She was so exuberant and chatty. You could tell she loved working in Disney. She was a theater major so it was a dream of hers to work in Entertainment at the park.

Awww thanks. :goodvibes

Great update Brenda!! I may have to put the RiverBoat on my to do list. I don't think Ive done it since 1976!!

Thank you!

There may be a few changes that have taken place in the last 38 years! I imagine it would be a very nostalgic ride. :)

Glad you enjoyed the riverboat ride - definitely something that should be done at least once with the items you only get to see on that trip and the unique view of some other attractions

That's cool that they split your lunch into two bowls for you! And both your desserts looked great!

Now I want to go back around Tom Sawyer Island and perch on the port side of the boat. It's a great vantage point to see Splash and BTMRR.

Oh man, LTT is my all-time favorite lunch place at MK mostly because of that dessert but the pot roast is an attractive reason to return.

I am an awful person and have lagged behind so badly but am finally caught up. My wedding is in 2 weeks so my head has been elsewhere lately. Thank goodness the DisneyMoon is all planned or else I'd be having a complete meltdown at this point.

I am SO EXCITED for Em. She is going to make the most stunning bride!

I know we are getting close to the point in your trip when you get to visit our favorite dreamboat, I mean, Cast Member ;)

P.S. We needed a reservation for dinner on Mother's Day and my mom chose Tony's. I already briefed Aaron about how I may end up fangirling big time that night :rotfl:

No worries! I think you have a great excuse. I wish you all the best next week. :bride:

Thank you! That's so sweet of you. I think she'll make a lovely bride too.

Ha ha ha! Yes, if you've already peeked, he made a special visit to our table to say hi. Very nice of him to do so.

You'll have to ask to be seated in dream boy's section otherwise you'll have to steal glances his way. :p

Yes, the Liberty Belle. We've not done that in five or six years. It seems every time we are there, it is clsoed for refurb. It's on my list of definite want to do's in September.

I love that you and Em have pictures taken with outstanding CM's. That's a nice little tradition you have there.

I hope the Liberty Belle makes it on your list this year. It may not be the most thrilling but at least it is relaxing.

And thank goodness there are plenty of nice CMs to be able to chat and pose with so we can continue that tradition. :thumbsup2

yay! I wasn't too sure about the liberty belle, but now I think we will have to try it out :goodvibes

We were gonna go to LTT for lunch but ended up having to cut it out. We'll probably go to Columbia Harbor House instead since it is counter service, but my, you are making me regret that cut!!!!!:(

Try it out! It is such a great nostalgic ride. And you can view areas of the park you wouldn't otherwise see.

CHH is a great alternative to LTT... you still have the Colonial feel with some great entrée choices. Although I've only had the hummus sandwich - it was awesome with those chips. CHH is on my list to return and try the apple turn-over. Unfortunately, we just can't dine everywhere we want otherwise I'd need to book at 24 day trip. :upsidedow

We've yet to ride the Liberty Belle too. Just looks so hot on there and we are running to the next "ride". Great pics and I need to try it out next time. Luckily this year I had a few hours to tour Epcot by myself and finally seen Ellen and Michael Jackson rides. Glad I didn't torture my kids with those rides yet.
Also love the new version of selfie pics. :rotfl2:

I hear ya! That's exactly the reason I think there's no long lines for this attraction... you really have to make the time for it and not have a pressing timeline.

I'd join you for the Ellen's Energy ride but I pass for Captain EO. Ha ha! Your kids may be thanking you for leaving them behind.

I didn't mean to get a selfie....it does prove that it is my original photography though! :p

YAY Bucket List Item!! I guess as a place to relax, the lower level of the Liberty Belle makes sense. But I'm all about where the action is, so upper level for me (on the one time I actually did this).
I think my fav thing was the new vantage points for BTM that you can't see otherwise.

Does Alligator Swamp remind you of the beginning of D-Land's Pirates? It does for me.

YES I LOVE GETTING PHOTO'S WITH CM'S!!!!! I love that you do too. Character photos are great, no doubt, but think I cherish the CM photos even more.

Aw man, no "Brenda party from Beverly Hills"? Denied!! That still makes me chuckle.

Rob I know you would be up on top of the Liberty Belle taking photos! And maybe posing with a friendly CM as well. I tried to get a good photo of BTMRR coming around the bend but I didn't do so well with that.

Absolutely! I was going to mention that but didn't. It is very much the same as the swamp shack in the bayou section of PotC at DL. Good memory Rob!

I agree 100%. The characters are great but the interactions with the CMs that tell you their experience and share their stories are worthy of a thank you and a photo!

I was robbed this time I tell you! I wanted to be from some Disney themed land like Andalasia.

I'm glad you crossed something else off your list! Your pictures from the Liberty Belle turned out really great. We've never been on it, but hope to eventually. I love the selfies you took :)

Thanks Melissa! It was about time I tell ya! I wish we'd have done it sooner - and in cooler weather.

So funny that I didn't mean for them to be selfies... I got in the way of the photos. ;)

Fun trip on the boat! I have only done it once, but it looks as though I may have missed a few things! I must go do it again. Maybe twice so that I can stay on one side of the boat each way around and not miss anything.

It was! Well, we're tied for the same number of times we've been on it. Great minds think alike...I definitely will go to the opposite side next time. Did you do the Mark Twain riverboat at DL?

Ditto!!! Excellent pics! :thumbsup2

True....so true! :cool1:

Fantastic update...more please?

My secret - point, hold still, push the button! :rotfl: Ok, so you need to turn the power on too, that just turns the complication factor up. :p

Thank you! Ok.... just for you...wait... hang on another day there buddy!

I would just like to take a moment to express how much I am enjoying living vicariously through this trip report! Cannot wait for the next update. And congratulations to your lovely daughter. Very exciting!

Thank you so much MandaLynn! How sweet of you.

Thanks for joining and your kind comments. :goodvibes

What a lovely and fantastic day! Ah what I would do to be having a morning like that today! I'll have to try those pancakes, they look super delicious and sound better than the nut ones!! Kona, yum! Sometime soon!!

Liberty Belle is a lovely ride, I'll need to go on it again in the next trip!

Nice shots on the rides, i've never been able to get hm shots!! lol

LTT looks amazing, it's on my list of places to eat, and SOON lol!,a

Hi Katt! Yes, Kona pancakes are a great way to start any day. Try them sometime and you will thank me!

Congratulations on being able to live your dream working at Disney. I saw your FB post! :dance3:

I haven't done the Liberty Belle in a very long time, and DH never has!
You got some great pics from up there, Brenda! And a very interesting story about Wilson's Cave Inn too. I don't remember ever seeing that before! Glad you were able to mark that one off your list.
Adorable pictures with the cm for the Christmas shop, I love that place so much! It's so adorable.
I kind of like the Jack Skellington shoe... But agree it doesn't make much sense! :rotfl:

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

I would love to see your photos from Liberty Belle! You got skills!

It would be cool if they had some more narration during the ride that talked about the significance of the various scenery.

Isn't it great to enjoy the Christmas shop year round? And the cheery CM was great.

I'm still trying to figure out how there are a plethora of princess and female character shoe ornaments but why Jack?? Someone knows I'm sure.

I need to cross Liberty Belle off my to-do list too! It does give you a unique perspective of the park-- plus the cool stuff you can only see via boat!
Aww, I wish I could say every CP cast member I've encountered was bubbly and happy to be working at Disney as the girl you met! For me it's really been 50/50 as far as attitude, helpfulness, etc.

So true! You can't see most of the scenery anywhere else.

Yikes! That's a bad ratio of helpfulness-to-not so much. I remember the first time I heard a Disney CM get cranky and I was shocked. I thought they had to be super human and be pleasant all the time. Guess not.

What a beautiful sunrise from your room at BLT! I love early mornings at Disney.

I totally agree with you- there is no better way to start out a day than with the Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes at Kona. MMMMMMMMM!

Disney sunrises and Kona pancakes = morning perfection!!

What a fun meet you observed with Mickey and the little girl. I'm so glad you posted all of the pictures from the room- since I am also a member of the "No sleeping in Disney" club, I'll join you in Goofy's seminar.

Thanks Dee! I just realized when I went back to look at that Goofy seminar photo that probably 2 people in all of WDW know what 'somnabulous" means... I had to look it up. Can you imagine a kid asking their parent what it means, in front of a crowd of people....

You have the coolest commentary with your pictures- the stick in the back of the IASW doll. LOL! Madame Leota's expression is, um, different. Sour pickle face.

:rotfl2: Sour pickle face!

Spectacular pictures from the Liberty Belle. I don't think I have done that in 5-6 years. Last time was when Ben was still avoiding Haunted Mansion and we went while Mark and Nate cavorted with spirits. I love that there are some things you can only see from the ship. The Indian Camp, which I think you can also see from the train, was part of the book Kingdom Keepers. Thanks so much for including the info about Wilson's Cave Inn- that was fascinating!!!

The picture of the run-down log cabin put a smile on my face. A couple of weeks ago, Nate had to make a diorama of the log cabin from the book Huck Finn for his Honors Language Arts/History class. It looked just like that, with painted popsicle sticks subbing for the logs.

There's probably a few other interesting stories behind the LB theming. It will be more interesting to see it next time since I've learned a little more back ground regarding the scenery.

Awwww...You'll always remember Nate's project when you take a spin on the river boat.

Cute pictures in Liberty Square and thanks for the shoutout to Massachusetts! Glad the Liberty Bell was back in place.

Why thank you for livening in a "shout out" state! Or as it is more commonly referred to... one of the 13 original colonies. :)

We have not been to the Liberty Tree Tavern. Your pictures of the pot roast and the ooey-gooey-toffee-cake make it very tempting!

Since there's no drooling emoticon we'll settle for this one.... :thumbsup2

I tried to find information about the windows on google- Someone commented that the glass was hand-made. A bing search yielded this info: "This restaurant, located in Liberty Square, is a table service establishment which brings to life a little "taste" of the colonial period of United States history. The setup is a colonial tavern way back in the day, so to speak. The theming here is terrific, with vintage decorations and even old wavy, seeded glass in the windows."

During our KTTK tour they talked about that glass... our tour is the next day of our trip so I have to say you are well ahead of my TR now. ;)

Hope you have a most happy day today!

.

Thank you Dee! :goodvibes

I love going on the Liberty Belle! Congrats on crossing it off your list! But somehow Wilson's Cave Inn has eluded me and I didn't know it was there! Very interesting read on the inspiration behind it. Thanks for posting the link!

Totally agree with you about the enthusiasm that usually accompanies a DCP CM!

Being the pro that you are with a camera you do this attraction far more justice than me!

Certainly! I had to know the back story since I know Disney doesn't do things randomly. I figure there's a few more stories to be discovered regarding some of the other scenes.

The DCP CM seem to take cheeriness and friendliness a step above the other CMs.

It hasn't changed much in the last 41 years, except that it doesn't burn anymore. ;)

But the area around it sure has changed.

That is so COOL!!! Thank you for sharing. I love that. Wow 41 years ago.

Great update! Like many of us, it's been SO long since I've been on Liberty Belle and I think many are just like you were and hadn't yet at all. Thanks for including the link out to the story about the Cave Inn, how interesting! I love Disney trivia like that! :thumbsup2

I haven't, however, been to Liberty Tavern, tried to many years ago but didn't have an ADR and the wait was just too much! Your dessert looked amazing!!! :cloud9:

Thanks Tracy! It's just not an attraction that gets a lot of attention. Glad to share.

Hunger and long waits don't go so well together! Put that dessert on your "one day" list! It really is worthy of at least a little wait.

What great photos from the Liberty Belle!! I love seeing new, often-missed attractions!!

And what a nice CM story...I love hearing those kinds of reports! :goodvibes

Thanks Julie! It truly is an oft-missed attraction. I'm not too worried that most people ignore it since it makes for shorter wait times.

I love the idea of the Doom Buggies going off road and into the graveyard!

:rotfl2:

Wouldn't that be a hoot and a half.

I love the Liberty Belle, it is such a pretty vantage point!

It would be an interesting twist for the attraction.

You can see things you wouldn't otherwise see at Disney - especially on the top level. Just be warned that sunny days can be brutal!

All caught up again!

I totally forgot about the soft serve hair on Ariel! And I had no idea that people didn't like it. I remember her hair being like that in the movie at one point and thought they were just trying to recreate that scene.

I've been on the Liberty Belle at DL but not at WDW yet! Need to have that happen stat!

Hi Alicia! Welcome back from your fun bday trip. From your photos it looks like you had a lot of fun!

Yes, you remember Ariel's soft serve hair? People didn't like it... I thought it was fine since it did represent her hair in that scene in the movie. Oh well, people complain and Disney listens and then voila we have a new Ariel head!

LB would be a great thing to cross off Calvin's list I'm sure!

Hi Brenda! Back from Spring Break and trying to catch up on the DIS - a rather daunting task….

Loved all the pics from the Mickey queue. I really need to take more time to notice those details! The PP pics with Mickey and the ones with the castle turned out great.

Your pictures from the Liberty Belle are fantastic! I always intend to ride and then completely forget it’s even possible. :confused3

I love the Skellington shoe ornament - I would probably have to buy it if I ran across it.

Hi Roni! Welcome back from break. You are doing better than me since I'm still trying to get caught up here before I get caught up on most of my subscriptions.

I wish I had a few more photos from the Mickey queue to share since the details are so perfect. Thank you!

Sometimes you just need good timing with the boat taking off otherwise out of sight out of mind.... until you see it coming back around the river bend. ;) It was a fun way to spend 20 or so minutes.

Ha ha! A Jack Skellington fan are we?? Noted.

I didn't know your son did DCP, what a great experience unless he had a job that was cleaning up after the horses on Main Street. ;) I suppose they don't always offer the dream jobs.
He was working in the kitchen at the counter service restaurant at Blizzard Beach, so it was a little more glamorous than the horse detail would be, but it wasn't great. I was surprised that they assigned these types of jobs to the interns. But, like I said earlier, he is now managing two restaurants, so he must have benefited in some way from the experience. :)

I was planning a Liberty Belle ride, but it rained A LOT the day I was at MK. I actually had it planned into my day because I was expecting that I would need a relaxing break from the heat, but it didn't happen.

I love the different things you get to see, though. So I will be keeping it on my List!! And that's a great little blog you linked to!

Safe travels!! :goodvibes

I've never done the Liberty Belle either, but you got some great pics! I'll add it to the list.

I like your picture with Massachusetts, my home state!

Thanks Courtney.

Glad I could pay homage to your fine state. :)

Liberty Bell has just made it to my list. We have never done it. I don't even remember doing it all those visit as a child in DL.
LT always sounds good but gets cut before ADRS get made. Maybe this time. I really need to go more often of longer.

Glad to know I could help your attractions list grow longer. You'll definitely need to stay longer if you want to fit in all the rides AND the dining. ;) That's my dilemma and why I still haven't made it to BOG for lunch.

All caught up!

Way too much to comment on but wow your trip sounds full of pixie dust!

Can't wait to hear more!

Hi Caitlin! Thanks for dropping by and going all... the....way....back to the beginning to get caught up! :goodvibes

I loved reading about the Liberty Belle. We'll definitely have to try that next time!

LTT has never appealed to me, but that dessert does look tasty!

It's a great attraction that doesn't get a lot of competition for a spot on the boat. Definitely a nice way to spend about 20 minutes.

I'd go to LTT for the dessert alone. No doubt! :)

What? Noooooooo only one day? :scared1: There is a DISer here that tried to do all the rides in one day and I think she did most of them but missed things like Hall of Presidents and the LB so if that tells you anything.... it's not easy to do. :) Talk some sense into him. :p

Why thank you Alexis, you are so sweet! I saw that you are leaving in days and I had to drop by your TR and say hi! We'll arrive the day you leave.

Ahhh isn't Christopher perfect for CRT? He fits into the royal theming so well with his gallant and theatrical flair. I hope to see him again this summer.

Thanks for reading! :goodvibes

Wow, you can see so much from the Liberty Belle! I always love the different perspectives of Big Thunder...it's hard to enjoy all the beauty around it as you are zooming around! I just love Adventureland!!

Isn't that a great vantage point for all the great scenes? You know, you made me think that I have no idea what land BTMRR and Splash are in since I'm used to where they are in DL. I think I confuse people when I refer to things in WDW for DL and visa versa. Oops!

Wow! I'd say your son did well if he's that successful. Gotta start somewhere. I only remember the donut stand at Blizzard Beach. ;)

:goodvibes

Hi Sue! Yeah, that's not a great ride for when it's raining since it would be really crowded on the lower decks.

Keep it on your list since I'm sure you'll get to it someday. :thumbsup2 Wasn't that great? Very informative.

Monday August 26, 2013: Day 11, Part 4

Following lunch we went over to the Tangled restrooms area. I know, I've already posted a LOT of photos of the Tangled restroom area but it's so beautifully themed that I can't help myself with sharing more! We spied the electrical outlets hidden into the ‘posts’. To think that 10 years ago people would have scratched their heads wondering why there was such a need in a theme park.

Moving on…. We decided to use our FP for PPF. My photos are poopy but here’s a few just to confirm that fact.

DSCN0371.jpg

We were greeted with a monsoon after exiting the ride. That was fun compressing my body into a tiny alcove in the exit area so that I wasn’t blocking anything. Em retreated to the gift shop while I watched strollers roll across the plaza and people diving in for cover. Behind us, CMs were yelling at people to move away from the exit so that when Philharmagic concluded the exit would not be blocked. No one really paid attention to their pleading since they were more worried about staying dry than being compliant. It was getting crazy with cranky people and yelling CMs so Em and I decided to duck into Mickey’s Philharmagic and become a part of the crowd that would swell out of the exit and expect people to move out of our way! Actually, we hoped that the rain would let up by the time it had ended. It did so all was well.

DSCN0374.jpg

Here's the good folks that we shared shelter from the rain with.... we all were afraid of melting in the rain I'm sure.

I missed getting Donald's tushy until it was too late.
DSCN0402.jpg

Once back outside it was really humid and we were ready for a break in our day so we left taking the monorail back to CR around 3pm. We had to be back at MK for a 5:15pm dinner at Be Our Guest so this was just a short break.

From the window we could see the new bus stop construction.

DSCN0433.jpg

Insert break in room here for continuity and all…. Ok, 2 hours have passed and we are on our way to dinner now.

DSCN0449.jpg

After walking back over to MK we were strolling up Main Street and were fooled by a puddle of melting frozen lemonade that looked like someone had cracked an egg and wanted to cook it on the hot pavement. I didn’t say that sometimes our crazy imaginations made sense. Just that’s what it looked like to us. See for yourself.

DSCN0452.jpg

We stopped for a photopass photo on the way...
DSCN0456.jpg

We made our way over to BoG for dinner. To read my dining review which included a very blunt observation about our dinner experience, please see here. There were some great highlights so this is not a complete downer. Also, we were able to tour the library/gallery for the first time.

A few photos.... like the thousands that have been posted everywhere!

Happy Easter to everyone, hope you all have a enjoyable day with family, friends and good food..

Hahaha on the frozen lemonade on the pavement... Totally looks like an egg frying! Before I read your commentary I thought that that's exactly what it was! :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about your less than stellar dining experience at BoG. I'm glad that the strawberry cupcake proved to be another great choice at least! :thumbsup2 The pictures of you and Em are great as well!

There can never be too many pictures of the Tangled area! I love the whole place, it's so cute!
Whoa, that's a lot of rain! Good call ducking into Philharmagic! :thumbsup2
I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your food at BOG. With so many similar food reviews, we went there expecting not to like it, but we were pleasantly surprised and we loved our meals! :confused3 I got the same dish as Em. Maybe we just hit them on a rare good day! :rotfl:

Oh my goodness it just amazes how quickly the monsoons hit. I genuinely feel bad for the CM's in that position where I'm sure they don't want to send everyone out into the storm, but almost have to. Not a good position to be in. Good call on heading into Philharmagic to escape the rain. And bonus... It's Philharmagic!!!!

Clearly all those folks standing there are from So-Cal. :goodvibes

Yup, that does indeed look like an egg.

Your review of BoG really hammers home one of the reasons I don't do sit down meals in Disney. The main one is time, but I would hate to spend a faily large amount of money on food and have the food just be so-so or not good. BUT, at least the place has some serious ambiance going on. Thankfully I can get that at lunch, lol.

Ahh, I hate those sudden rainstorms! We got caught in one in 2011, ran from LTT to Pirates and rode three times. Philharmagic probably would have been a better choice-- Pirates was chilly!
The best part about staying in a MK resort-- being able to take a break even with an ADR coming up. So convenient!

I can't tell you the number of times people come up to me in the parks asking if I knew of a place to charge their phones. Guess now I can direct them to the Tangled bathrooms. :rotfl:

Got to love FL's afternoon rain showers. Another reason afternoon breaks are beneficial. But, if I remember correctly, that was the first rain shower you got caught in. Maybe? Possibly?:confused3 If so, that's pretty darn good, considering the time of year and length you both were there.
