In April my DW and I, along with our DS (7) and DD (7) have ressies at California Grill. We will be on the Dining plan. Does it makes sense to use 4 TS credits (2 each for DW and I) and pay OOP for the kids, saving 4 TS credits?

This way we could use the 4 TS (2 for each child) credits we would need for them at CG, elsewhere during the trip. If the credits aren't attached to the kids, could we then use the 4 for a family dinner at another TS restaurant?

Is this correct?

Thanks!

We too plan to eat at Ca. Grill and will pay OOP for our 4yr old. If you look at the child's menu the child entrees are $7-11 and dessert $3 and drink $2.25 so if you went all out the most it would be is $12.25 much less than two credits....

Absolutely--our kids are considered adults and we don't plan on using credits to feed them at Cali grill--I know what they will order and it won't come near the value of two adult days worth of TS!

We will be 2 adults and dd14. We are planning to go to CG and Citricos (and other TS) but I figure I and DH will use 2 credits each and dd will have our appetizers and one dessert as her meal. Ive shown her a few menus and she seems good with that. Can always get another app or salad or whatever OOP if someone feels like eating more/different. Will allow us to eat at more TS places, as we like nicer dinners...

Im thinking : Boma breakfast oop...CG, Citricos, CP lunch, Spoodles or Kona for another dinner..Le Cellier and BD fantasmic oop.
