I'd rather have something more in the middle but if given the choice between 2025 and 2026 weather, then yes Team Toasty all the way. Sign me up for not freezing my butt off in the corral every time.
Ugh, no gonna have to disagree with you there especially for the 5K and 10K. I ran those in gloves and a hat and as I said at the time I could have done that at home in PA. If I'm going to Orlando to run I shouldn't have to bundle up.
I only want the weather from Sunday 2025 repeated, not the rest of it--it was terribly chilly in the mornings, and that rain for the half was awful.
I pre-ordered the Dopey sweatshirt this year and when I picked it up I realized it was enormous. I asked to exchange but they told me they didn't have anything smaller left. I picked up around 1:00 on Wednesday.

That's too much to ask for, I fear. At least get this weather for just the half and full.
But toasty weather has the risk of heat stroke! You can always put more layers on to warm up, you can't take off your skin to cool down lol.
It was definitely novel to be in Animal Kingdom wearing a parka, gloves, and hat.
Not everyone can put on more layers and warm up. Layers hold in body heat, but do not create it. And because I am old, I could be dressed like the little brother on A Christmas Story, and not create enough heat to warm up while standing around in 35 degree weather. I have been known to lie across the hood of a running food truck!
As I’m still a little traumatized by what has been the longest and coldest winter I can remember I just can’t get behind 35 degrees as ideal running weather. I might as well dress up like Olaf to run at that temp.I said what I said.
I genuinely think 35 is great running weather. I remember it drizzling during the half but no pouring rain, but obviously that's not ideal. The marathon day is what I meant was perfect weather though.
