You're quite welcome! and thank YOU for the compliments! I promise to have a new update soon.I found your trip report today and I am loving all of the pictures. Your boys are adorable. Your report has helped make a hot stormy afternoon become filled with pixie dust and sun shine. Thank You
hehehe....my wife was saying the same thing....AND SHE WAS THERE!Wow! Great report and awesome pictures. I am looking forward to seeing what you post next.

I think I have a few more left to postWhat a wonderful trip report! You have a beautiful family and thank you for sharing your special memories! Love the photos-- can't wait to read and see more pictures!!!

Well well well....look who it is!Yay! I found your TR! I don't have time to read right now but I will be back!![]()
To those of you out there not fortunate enough to have read Dolce's trip report, click on the link in her Sig. Well, wait till this one is over first, that way I won't look bad.
Soon. I've been swamped lately. All caught up!So glad to finally be able to put a face to a name. You have a beautiful family! Your kids are the cutest in their pirate Mickey Mouse Hats.
I don't want to give too much away, but it gets much cuter!
And you know that I agree with your mother about not doing well with flying. Cut her some slack!I flew out to LA a couple of week-ends ago and a storm was moving in as we took off. We went up into a storm cloud. Looking outside of my window and seeing lightening bolts right there was not my idea of fun!
I had a window seat at the wing and for the most part, it was awesome! We went over a few storms and to watch lightning just appear in the middle of thin air made me speechless. However, I will agree that when we went through one storm and the lightning was all around us, I did pray a little.
Love MCO, it is a good airport and one of my favorites of all that I've ever been to... except when I arrive there I'm too busy flying towards the Magical Express to pay much notice to it.
Careful what you wish for, we had 6 hrs to check it out on the way home. Bad storms in Philly shut the airport down.
I've considered the Yacht Club for my next Disney trip just for access to Stromalong bay...
....but then you post this pic and I'm justThere's my Boardwalk. I must return there. That's my home.
That's how I am with the BC! We talked about the Boardwalk but I think if we had a B/W view, we'd stare at the BC and just wish we were there. I love staying at the B/C and staring at the BW.
All I have to say is....You know that I went for Christmas/NYE last Christmas. And maybe the crowds were like that for me at DHS on NYE at midnight... and I know that the MK had to have been packed like that ... it closed to capacity!... but for the most part of my trip I actually was able to avoid being in a place that looked like that. That's just nuts!... or maybe it wasn't so bad in person?
...ok, ok.. maybe Main Street was like that for me on Christmas Eve after the fireworks. One tends to forget that type of thing quickly.
Funny you should say that. If I didn't have pics, I would have probably forgotten the crowds myself. They were bad here and there but for the most part it was pretty good. I'd do it again in a heartbeat if I could!
And just where was your notepad to jot down notes? Did you learn nothing from my TR???
Humph!
LOL Tina said the same thing when I told her I was going to do a trip report!
I was going to take a few notes at the end of the day but I was absolutely existed!
My dog ate them?
There wasn't any pens.
No, wait, how about the TSA took my notepad when we got to MCO!
Yep, I'm sticking with that one. Stupid TSA!
Please let me know what you think of the Kim Possible Missions from an adult point of view. I thought that I might try it on my next visit.
Well, I'll have to ask my mom or Tina. See, most of the time I was jumping up and down more than the kids. 99% of the time, I felt like I was 5 again. I think the girls were kind of board. I would do it again with just me and the boys. Tina, I'm sure, would pass.
Can't wait for more.![]()
Hopping on for the ride ! WOW that is a LOT of pics. You can now be officially known as the 'King of Pics at WDW'Can't wait to hear all about it! BCV is my FAV! we are trying AKV for the first time and a bit nervous, hope it stands up to our BCV stays
You make it seem as we are right there on the grounds with those pics of yours, they're Awesome. It is wonderful to have a sweet family to share it with
Your boys look so happy in your pics! We'll be heading there real soon, can't wait! oh and
for your dad.
From what I hear, you will love the AKV. Next year we may try another resort and I hope it is at least 1/2 as good as the Beach Club. I think the worse part is deciding to try something new. After you get there it will be just as special in it's own way I'm sure.
As for the king of pics, don't mention that on the photography boards, they are true gods over there. Quantity means nothing when you have pics that look like theirs do!
Rob,
I'm in~ we stayed at the Beach Club in 2006 and loved it. One of my favorite pictures is the sunrise over the BC Villas as we waited at the bus stop. We're going to the Poly this time only because I wanted to try a monorail resort, but your BC pictures are so tempting.
I lost my dad in 1997 and my mom has been fighting cancer for the past 6 years, so I completely understand your determination to enjoy every moment. Family is the most important thing and I've learned that tomorrow might be too late to appreciate them!
Poly looked very nice. I'd do that over the Contemporary if the monorail is important. Ohana's is great and the drinks are delicious! There's plenty of spots for beautiful pictures all over the hotel!
Enjoy every moment says it all. That's the main reason for a lot of the pictures (the other reason is for the Disboards!) It's important to have special moments in life, it's special when you have a picture 10 years later to bring you back to those moments.
I just found you trip report and you can count me in! Great family and great pix!
My DH and I always talk about how much we missed on our first trip...but at the time we thought we had seen and done SO much. That's what I love about Disney... There is always something that will be "new" for the next trip.
Isn't it crazy! When we came home from the first trip we thought we did everything. When we started seeing pics from other people's trip reports we felt like we missed out on so many things! I think we did just about everything we were after and more this year! I can't wait till I'm done this report so I can start planning next year's trip!
