Yep, I took a picture of that (9100 total) COMPLETED 9/1

I have to say that you did an amazing job sharing your memories with us! I have just now finished it and Im sitting here at work trying to dry my eyes! Your pictures were ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS!!!!! The last one topped it off. We will be there next week! Ive told my mom and sister how many pics you took and they were off buying more SD cards!!!! I guess they don't want to be outdone! lol! anyway, just wanted to say you did a great job. Im sure your wife is so proud! Thanks again for sharing!~

Thank you so much! One thing that was great was that we did most things more than once which was great for taking pictures. That way you can still enjoy what's going on and get a decent shot also. Whatever you do, don't spend your whole vacation looking through a lens. I know it may appear that I did but I really spent a lot of time just enjoying everything. Go have fun and send me a PM if you post some pics or do a trip report!

:rotfl2: She just yelled at me because she thought I must have said something to you about it! I've been saying that since she first brought that shirt home!:lmao:

Does she not see it?! I mean I LOVE my Sox, but I don't think I'd buy a shirt with hand on my ::cough:: ::cough::

Sorry Tina...

So, we come to the end of a fantastic family vacation. I'm happy for you, because you had a wonderful time, yet sad for you, as I am for myself, because our vacation journeys have ended. I've never done a trip report, but am seriously considering doing one. I think I'm so inconsistent, I'll need to type it all up before I begin. I also don't take a lot of notice of what we did when, etc., so I'm nervous. However, I do love pictures, so even if I find nothing to say, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. And speaking of which

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I owe you a huge debt of gratitude. :cool1: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2:

For everyone else, you must know what a wonderful person you're dealing with, although I'm sure Tina already knows what a great guy he is. I came back from vacation with a camera card that was broken. I posted for help on the Photography board and someone suggested a program. NateNLogansDad also said if I needed help, he'd try to lend a hand. Well, I ran the other program first suggested -- 9-1/2 hours and nothing to show for it. That's where NNLD stepped in and offered some great advice, never leaving me stranded when something didn't work. He was able to help me by suggesting a program that brought back most of my pictures from my first day and a half of vacation. To me these pictures are priceless and I cannot say enough about the patience he showed with me. I'm not a tech person by any stretch and I was really feeling helpless. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you. :worship::worship::worship:

I just finished reading your entire trip report. I absolutely loved every minute of it! Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us.

As I read your posts and looked at your pictures I was transported back to our trips over the years and excited to look ahead to our up coming trip, so for that I again say thank you!

You have a wonderful family and seem to truely enjoy every moment you have with them.

Wishing you and your family many more wonderful trips!
Thanks again for sharing!

I'll have to get a good pic of that shirt....it's supposed to be to thumbs pointing at her and says "This girl loves the Phillies" :rotfl2: It really does look like that, just not at first glance:lmao: She does get a lot of compliments about it though!

Thank you! You're too kind! It was my pleasure. I've gotten so much from people sharing info on these boards, I try to jump when I get the chance to help someone else if I can.

As for the possibility of a trip report, If you have Windows Vista it's a piece of cake. I took all the pictures from the week and imported them into the "Photo Gallery." The Gallery sorts them all by date and then by the time of day they were taken. I didn't take notes I just followed the trail of pictures and told the story as I remembered it. Of course I had a proofreader (Tina) to make sure the details were accurate:hug:

If you want to try it but don't have Vista, it looks like the Gallery can be downloaded for Windows users at

http://download.live.com/photogallery

Good luck and send me a link if you get it started!

I can see the thumbs pointing up, and I probably would have been all over it if I found one with the Red Sox on it! It is a good shirt :rotfl2:

Thank you! I just saw your ticker and I'd be jumping out of my skin right now! I hope you guys have an absolute blast down there and don't worry about the rest of us stuck back here at work! :surfweb:

Thanks for sharing your trip! My husband thought it was crazy when I told him I would need at least 8 2Gb cards for photos as well as the photo pass! I can't wait! How did you like the photos on your cd? I'm still up in the air about ordering that as well as our own photos. What are your thought? Thanks again! (Great fire works photos too!)

For this trip it was nice to have pics with ALL of us in them. Usually I'm holding the camera so I'm the one missing from our group shots. Photopass worked great in that sense. However, with the new camera I have a remote to take the picture with so next year I'll be able to be part of the group which means I'll probably opt out from buying the CD.

Side note....the pics from the beginning of the trip are back up!
