Yep, I took a picture of that (9100 total) COMPLETED 9/1

I'm really enjoying your report and pictures...Your boys are so cute! We were at the Beach Club the same time you guys were. We also LOVE the Beach Club!
Can't wait for more!!popcorn::

Love all the pictures. Thanks! I feel like I was there. Hope the trip was great!

This is great! I will be waiting for more! Glad to hear your surprise worked, we did this the last day of school at Christmas break-the kids got out at 11am.........DH and I picked them up, first they wondered why dad was home, told them we had a surprise.........when we got home asked where they would want to go if they could go anywhere........the littlest one cried because he just wanted to go to the local playplace!!

Thanks for the great report and plentiful pictures! We spent a week at the Beach Club with our two little boys this spring, so it's fun to see the similarities in your trip. My crew also loved the Nemo ride and Crush, but their Epcot favorite was all of the free soda at Club Cool!! Looking forward to reading more of your adventures.

I am enjoying your TR so much. The pictures are great!! Y'all seem to be having an awesome time already, and I can't wait to read more!!!
I can honestly say we enjoyed every minute of it. We even got a kick being stranded in the rain one day......but that is for later ;)

Hello, I've been reading your trip report at work, but can't post there. I was oohing and awwing, like the grandma I am, looking at your adorable sons! I love your sons eyes on Small World!! So cute!! Looking forward to more!!
Remember for next time that you can always combine fast passes and stroller swap on rides and that will increase the number of riders for each attraction. It could have gotten 4 or 5 of you on Soarin.;)
I can't comment yet on this (can't spoil too much yet!)

Hey, I am one of the ones out there reading, so I am now subbing! This TR title grabbed my attention... I too am the official photographer in our family. My DH rolls his eyes at the amount of photos I take but what great memories!!
I am enjoying your photos of the Boardwalk/Beach Club/Yacht Club area. We stay in the Boardwalk Villas so the area is quite familiar.
While in WS, did your boys do the masks? Or the passports?
Can't wait to see more pictures! :thumbsup2

Isn't it so much fun? I had a ball snapping so many pictures everywhere we went. Already talking about getting a bigger, better, and of coarse more expensive camera for next year. We'll see how the budget holds up.

side note: If you're reading this sweetheart, you really look beautiful today!

We didn't do the passports but I'm intruiged by these masks of which you speak. I don't recall ever hearing about them, do tell!

I would go back tonight if I had the opportunity! The smells when you walk into the lobby, the Grand Admiral there to greet you, the mojitos at Storm Along Bay! I want to go back home!

Love all the pictures. Thanks! I feel like I was there. Hope the trip was great!
I hope you stick around. There are more, you can count on that!

:lmao: At the wedding the day before, my youngest wanted his Mickey sunglasses we got last year which have been broken for the last 11 1/2 months. When we told him we were going, he said he wouldn't go till we got him the sunglasses. It took a few minutes till it sunk in that you can only get them there! As soon as we got to the parks, that was the first thing out of his mouth

We stopped in there for the first time this year. I'm sure there's a pic or ten around here from inside. It was a very place but too crowded when we were in there. The Beverley is something else isn't it?

Off to Canada we go looking for some medium rare meat. This looks like a good place

Now, this trip I tried to be good about taking pictures. My beautiful wife was very understanding about taking pictures of everything I could so I didn’t push it more than need be. At dinner the camera went away. I got the filet and the girls got the Prime Rib. I had some of their steak and I think it was better than the filet. You can’t go wrong either way, but the Prime Rib is cheaper and you get more on the plate. Next time maybe. Sorry, no food porn. But just to lift your spirits a little, here’s some of the scenery in Canada just outside of the restaurant.

Bellies full we head back to the Beach House err um Club too relax a little and hit the pool for an hr or so. Tonight, is a trip over to Hollywood Studios for my all time favorite thing in all the parks. That’s right. It’s Fantasmic night. We hop onto a ferry since it’s already been a lot of walking today so far and I can’t tell you how much I love the view of the Boardwalk. We almost stayed there this year but Mom said to do what we love. And we do love our Beach House err, umm, well you know. Anyways, this is what I was talking about…….

All your pics are amazing! And what a great brother you have for overnighting the charger! Keep the posts and pics coming! I need something to get me through these last 8 days before my own trip!! :goodvibes

Hollywood Studios. To some people this is a park with not all that much, but really with all the shows and rides, it takes a couple days to see everything. Everywhere you look, you could turn it into a postcard if you wanted to with the right shot.

You get the idea.

But tonight wasn’t about taking nice pictures. Tonight was about Fantasmic! We head down the boulevard around 9:15 and walk over to Pizza Planet. This is a must do for the boys since Toy Story will always have a place in their hearts.
dis142.jpg

I must say, at 9pm since there isn’t any food being served, the place was nice and quiet. Even though Tina’s not a big fan of arcades in general, we stuck around till about 10. Mommom Ginny was rockin on Guitar Hero and the boys were just in heaven.

Time for the main event. You guessed it Fantasmic! We went to the second show at 10:30 and there were still plenty of seats at 10:10 which is so nice. Side note, the second show is always less crowded than the first. Later on in the week we went to the 9:00 show and it was standing room only ½ hr before show time.

Walking back to the ferry, the crowds weren’t too awful getting out the gate since the park had been closed for 1 ½ hrs already. It was nice to see that there were still places open to get a drink and snacks that late. By the way, soda’s can be bought with a snack credit! With soda’s and lemonade in hand, we head to the ferries only to find the line was pretty darn long. Turning around, we walked the path back to the Beach Club which only took about 15 minutes or so.

Tonight was such a nice night and World Showcase had Extra Magic Hours so we said what the heck. Tina and I tucked the boys in and Mommom Ginny flipped the TV on and propped her feat up. We were off, just the two of us!

dis512.jpg

Running to the elevator, we were excited to have the rest of the night to ourselves. This is something that only comes around on anniversaries for us! Hand in hand we walked around Epcot. Tina was surprised I left the camera at home because I really wanted some nice night shots around the world, but tonight I just wanted to enjoy this. If you ever get the opportunity, do it. I promise you won’t regret it, and you can thank me later if you want!

Up next, well that’s a secret!

We didn't do the passports but I'm intruiged by these masks of which you speak. I don't recall ever hearing about them, do tell!

You must have just missed it! In your second pic of LeCellier, there's a sign on the right that says 'Kidcot Station'. That's where the kids could have gotten a cardboard mask on a stick. At each country they can stop and add something new to their mask -- coloring, string, etc. You can also buy a passport and stop at each country where a CM will write a greeting and/or your child's name in the passport in the language of the country you're visiting.

Great update. I would love to stay at the Boardwalk one day, and the Beach Club too for that matter. DHS is my DD and DH favorite park and it is right up there with the MK for me. I agree that you could easily spend two days there. Just the two of you sounds like fun, and I think it is very sweet that you left your camera so you wouldn't be distracted.

Great update, with more fun pictures. Looks like you really did wear the boys out that evening, helping Mickey WIN at Fantasmic!!!

Tina was surprised I left the camera at home because I really wanted some nice night shots around the world, but tonight I just wanted to enjoy this. If you ever get the opportunity, do it.

I have to admit I was a little surprised too, that you chose to leave your camera behind that evening!! Of course, my surprise was more over the fact that you were still able to take so many pictures during this trip!! I mean, no charger to start with, then a date night with no camera and you still took over 9100?? WOW!?! :rotfl2::lmao:

I think that is awesome that Mommom Ginny was able to watch her sleeping Grandsons, while resting her feet and you, along with your bride, were able to stroll through World Showcase and enjoy just some time together!! :thumbsup2

I did see the Kidcot signs around but I thought it was just for the kids to sit for a minute so the parents can relax! Well, I guess that's what it is also. Maybe next time. I love learning new things about Disney from this site!

It is sooo nice being able to walk to Epcot and DHS. Especially when you get into one of them and remember you forgot to grab something. One morning I had to run back from Epcot but I was back in like 15 minutes or so.

I was really a good time, even for only a couple of hours. Next time we will definitely need to do it more.

I would have left it home entirely if that meant another night with just the two of us! Tina was telling me this morning that next year my goal should be to see if I can top 9100 :lmao: I'm not promising anything, but I will try!

I think that is awesome that Mommom Ginny was able to watch her sleeping Grandsons, while resting her feet and you, along with your bride, were able to stroll through World Showcase and enjoy just some time together!! :thumbsup2

My mom is absolutely awesome. She loves the boys so much and always wants Tina and I to spend more time together. Right now she's on summer vacation, but when school starts, we usually see each other for about 1/2 to 1 hr a day and weekends are ALWAYS busy! Walking around the showcase was like being in another world altogether. Everything looks so perfect and it was pretty quiet because it was so late. It felt like we were dating again.
It'll come around again, we just need to set a day so we can start the countdown!

Well, it's pretty late and I've had a pretty rough day at work so I'm not going to be able to post an update tonight. I will try to get at least 1 or 2 more posts up before work tomorrow. I just wanted to stop by and say hi to everybody out there. Goodnight!

So here we go again. Are ya bored yet?!?!? I wanted to get up early to make rope drop at the Magic Kingdom but I think someone slipped some alcohol in this margaritas last night! So, instead of catching the show at the gate before the rope dropped, I was commenting on just how good the mattresses felt back in our room. We finally get up and caffeinated around 9:30 and got to the bus stop around 10.

I’m telling you, catching the bus first thing every morning for the rest of my life would probably get old after a while, but I could stare at this all day.
dis007.jpg

dis008.jpg

And you don’t see signs like this trying to catch a Septa bus around Philly.
dis004.jpg

I know I have issues when I look through the thousands of pictures, and a simple bus sign can mean so much. Anyways, moving on. We hop on the bus, and since I have the two ton stroller, I’m standing at the front of the bus having a very interesting chat with the driver. We chat for a while about how it is working for Disney and he tells me about when he drove a Tractor-Trailer for the resorts. I myself am a trailer driver and have already planned out my dream job now! Anyways, we make our way to the Magic Kingdom from the beach club…….

…..and up the walkway to the gates. I’m not quite sure where this ferry comes in from but it looked like cattle coming though the shoot. As much as I wanted to take a ride, it always looked so crowded I didn’t even attempt it.
dis034-1.jpg

I know we were already here but I got goose bumps walking up to the train station. I mean, everything is always just so perfect! I’m pretty sure it HAS to be the most photographed train station in the world, but if you haven’t been there in a while, here ya go……
dis035.jpg

And a closer shot.
dis036.jpg

If you’ve never taken the time to actually read the window on the front of the train station it says,

WALT DISNEY WORLD
RAILROAD OFFICE
KEEPING DREAMS ON TRACK
WALTER E. DISNEY
CHIEF ENGINEER

I love the little details all throughout the parks that most people really don’t take notice to. In my eyes, most companies don’t do things like that anymore if there is no profit in it. I am well aware that Disney is a business and can not survive on smiles alone, but they really go out of there way on the little things. I believe the saying goes “The truth is in the details” and here is no exception.

Moving right along, it’s now 10:40 as we walk in through here…
dis037.jpg

And were greeted by this gentleman.
dis038.jpg

Remember earlier when I said mornings are the time to go if you want to meat the characters? At 10:45 we got to talk to this young lad.
dis043.jpg

dis044.jpg

dis046.jpg

And apparently the park isn’t worried about pets on a leash because when I turned around, all I saw was…..
dis047.jpg

Unfortunately the boys weren’t up to par when we ran into Mary so they weren’t interested in standing in line. I, however, loved Ms Poppins growing up so I stole this shot as she talked it up with a little girl.
dis048.jpg

Continuing on, we walked towards the castle with the boys pointing at everything and me taking my pictures.
