I know I got a Spiced Pumpkin candle for Christmas and the first few times I burned it I got a splitting headache every time I burned it, after an hour or so. Maybe it's coincidence, but since then I stopped that one and I haven't had a headache since. So I was wondering, are there any particular scents that seemed to have caused other people headaches here? Thanks.

Definitely! Roses of Cliff Walks, Hearts and Flowers, Hydrangea, Lilac Blossoms, Stargazer Lily, Tulips and Storm Watch. Those of the ones I know for sure and I am sure there are others out there.

i get very nauseated when i smell vineyard. and also, the jack frost tart...i can handle the regular jack frost candle, but i can't take the tart!!

I found that many of the floral scents either bother my sinuses or give me mild headaches. I wish they didn't, because I really love the smell of some of them--Stargazer Lily and Plumeria being two of my favorites. Some of the scents at Bath and Body do that for me, too.

Funny you should ask. I just tried MacIntosh Apple last week and my head was killing me. That's the only scent I've found that does that.

The Lilac Blossoms tarts give me the worst headache! They are just too strong!

Any spice candle seems to make my face and nose itch and then I get all stuffy.
But I can't go into the store at all! And hate the smell that is in the mall! I went in only once to buy a gift and by the time I picked out what I wanted, I was close to passing out! No kidding. Thank God the lady was so helpful. I told her when I walked in this was fast and I wanted to spend xx amount and make it fast beacuse I could feel a headache coming on. I ended up leaving the store and waited outside for her to finish my transaction I couldn't believe I was about to pass out! So needless to say I will never step foot in there again! Ahame too because I know lots of people who love their stuff and it makes an easy gift!

The florals make my sinuses go haywire. I love the smell of Lilacs but that particular scent bothers me the most.

Any spicy or cinnamon type of candle gives me major headaches and makes my nose stop up! Doesn't seem to bother anyone else here though.

My son gave me a large Cherry Blossom for Christmas. I noticed it was burning dark and smoking a lot. That was strange because YC's don't usually do that. I left it lit anyway. I got a sinus headache that night but didn't connect the two until several days later when I tried to light it again. I immediately filled up and my head started hurting. i haven't lit it since. I'm going to wait till spring when I can open the windows and try again. This is the only scent I'm having problems with.
