Renting a reservation as a resale member

We would like to stay at Ft Wilderness in 2027 but we have a resale contract. Can a rented reservation that is already booked at Ft Wilderness be transferred to my resale account?

They’re just putting your name as the primary on their reservation. So yes, you can do it. But before you do check the cash rate for the cabins, lots of people are renting cabins at higher than the cash rate.

No, the reservation cannot be transferred to your membership. If you rent from a cabin owner, the owner you rent from would just put you & your party down as the guests, the reservation would show up on the owner’s membership but not yours. You can link it on MDE & it’ll show there.
If instead you had points transferred to you from someone who owned at the cabins I assume you could book a cabin w/ those cabin points which would show in your membership. I’m not confident on this because the cabins are restricted & your membership’s N status, it should theoretically work - but .
