Is it worth the extra money over All Stars or Moderates ?

Can any one rent the boats etc or do you have to be staying at YC/BC ?

Yes, you can rent boats even if you aren't staying there.

:) IMHO it is worth the extra money. The location and amenities are great. If I couldn't afford the YC/BC would I rather stay home? NO!! I will get there any way I can, but given a choice and the extra money I would take the YC/BC over AS any day. That's just my opinion. If you wait a few minutes someone will come along with a different one.;)

Well, Ducklite summed it up perfectly!!!!(Great job Anne!) There really is no comparison between the two resorts. The YC is our favorite, and so maybe I am a bit prejudiced, however, it is a beautiful resort, and like they say in real estate: Location, Location, Location!!:D

The summer saver rate for the YC/BC is $189 after July 4th. That is a pretty good deal. Although priced more than the mods or the AS, you get so much more bang for your buck there!:)

Cindala - good to hear such great endorsement! I just booked that rate (YC) for our trip in Aug. 02 and am really excited. We almost stayed there in Dec. but opted for the Boardwalk Inn instead which was great. But wanted to try something different yet still accessible to all the fun activities of the Boardwalk. Plus in August, Stormalong Bay will be much needed! Never been in the heat of summer (no kids so didn't have to) but everything sort of fell into place as far as rooms rates and airfare savings so figured what the heck?!

But to put my two cents in, we stayed one night at AllStars in Dec. and (surprisingly) liked it a lot but agree, you cannot compare them to the deluxes. The Boardwalk was fabulous. Ducklite mentioned the soundproofing, we had a room right next to the ice machine in Boardwalk, never heard it once.

Our personal $$ saving option - we usually get in so late flight-wise (8:30 pm), we save money and stay at the Value or Moderate the first night and then move on up to a deluxe the next day!
