Yankee Candles & Anniversaries!

For all those who LOVE Yankee Candles (I do)! Today is our wedding anniversary, and this year we decided to skip the gifts, as we are saving up for our May DCL cruise. We'd just decided to go out to a nice dinner this weekend, and normally aren't big spenders when it comes to gifts (or much else), anyway. Well, DH comes home from work tonight, runs upstairs, and comes down with a big Yankee Candle shopping bag filled with five large housewarmer jars! Said he knows how much I like them, and just wanted to make me happy on this special day, and hoped he'd picked out some nice scents! I couldn't believe it. This is from a man who separates the 2-ply toilet paper so that we have "double the amount" for the same price. What a thoughtful guy. Guess now I owe him something really nice...

Thank you for the nice thoughts, everyone! OK, my five scents are: Warm Apple Crisp, Buttercream (yum!), White Christmas (I'm a Christmas freak, so he said he had to get me a Christmas
candle even if it is just Sept.), Banana Nut Bread, and Spiced Pumpkin. As tomorrow it is supposed to be rainy and cool here (Isadore remnants arriving), I already know I'm lighting my Banana Nut in the kitchen in the morning, and my Warm Apple Crisp in the living room in the afternoon, so that my home will smell all warm and cozy and autumn-y! (Buttercream is for the bedroom---yowza)! I can't believe I have a planned schedule for the burning of my Yankee Candles... Something's wrong with me!
