I went there to take pics yesterday, and it looks almost ready. Today Disney Dining is confirming an 11/14 opening. I'm hoping to do both counter and table service if both are ready that day. :)

Reservations should start on 12/3 for 1/4 and beyond.

I'm pretty excited, that date will fall right in the middle of my week there!!

I'm planning on trying both counter and table service the first day (as long as they both are open), so I can get some pics and review it. I really thought yesterday that it would be soon, after seeing last weeks progress. :)

So if i'm reading this right it looks like they start taking reservations in december for January dates? So it's just walk up for the first couple of months? Still no menu?

I was just told that it was "Pan-Asian" cuisine. I don't know what that means. :)

And yes, it looks like it will be 6 weeks or so of walk-ups, with reservations taken for dates after 1/3 starting on 12/3.

Earlier I read on the boards that the TS would be open first and then the CS later. Anyone know anything about this? I am going to be there starting on the 17th and have all my TS booked but would love to try it.

There have been a lot of rumors, I haven't heard from any CM's or Disney Dining that it won't all open together.

We'll know next week though! :)

Pan-Asian--Asian food in a pan??
Think I'll wait on a menu before I rush over---

While I have no inside information on the specific menu, Pan-Asian cuisine encompasses foods from the Pacific Rim/Asia as a whole. One of my favorite restaurants, Lilly's Dim Sum Then Some in Little Rock fits this description, featuring the Chinese concept of Dim Sum but foods from across Asia including Chinese spring rolls and dumplings, Japanese edamame and Shoa Mai, Pad Thai, Korean Bibim Bop, Curry, well, you get the idea. I am excited about this and plan to check it out in a few short weeks!! I'll let you know what I think.

Here's the complete announcement, as posted by Disney CM JPVonDrake on another forum:

Oh, I'm so excited - it will be open when we're there NEXT WEEK!!!!!! Can't wait to try it!!!

Chicken Fried Rice? Egg Rolls?? Sweet and Sour Pork????
I HOPE this isn't the actual menu!!!

I agree! Nothing against Chinese food, but the listed items are far cry from Pan-Asian. I was hoping for Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Indian, and Nepalese selections on the menu.

Oh well, maybe they are going to introduce new items in the next few months before they gear up for ADR's in January.

Yeah, menu certainly leaves alot to be desired.

Are they accepting reservations yet for December?
