I loved that movie. I went to see it every weekend when it was in theaters. When it first came out on video (VHS), I paid something like $75 for it. Then a couple weeks later it came on on LaserDisc, so I bought a player and the LaserDisc. When the movie came out on DVD, I bought it. I did notice that they seem to have messed up the soundtrack on the DVD during the "battle of the bands" sequence.
I saw ELO perform live in 1973 in Cleveland. I absolutely fell in love with Olivia Neutron Bomb. But the funny thing is that I never bought the soundtrack to the movie. And now it all seems rather silly (although I still love the music from the film and might now have to dig out the DVD and watch it again).
When I lived in Los Angeles, I always wanted to look for the place that they converted (on film) to Xanadu. I read somewhere that they finally tore the place down. Oh well.
