Wyndham I-drive?

My husband has a conference at the Wyndham on International Drive and I am tagging along. All the reviews I am reading are really bad! So I have a few questions

Have you stayed there and how is it?

Are there other hotels that are close by? He needs to be close to the conference

Is there a good place for him to drop me at WDW that won't take him too long?
