Originally on our last day, we were going to tour Magic Kingdom all day and end with supper @ Chef Mickey's at 7:30pm and watch the fireworks from the Contemporary. But lately I've been second guessing that idea and I've been trying to get an earlier reservation with no success. However, I can get a 3:05pm ressie at The Plaza, this would allow us to eat earlier and leave earlier if we want and have one last night at our resort (we were upgraded to SSR) relaxing before our 12 hour drive home the next day. What are your opinions? We've never eaten at Chef Mickey's, DD will see basically the same characters at Tusker House with the exception of a few, and we have a lot more character meals, so it's not like this is our only one, but I'm still so confused on what to do????:confused3 And now I'm rambling, please help!!!

7:30 doesn't seem that late to me; I think CM's and the fireworks are the perfect way to end a vacation.

Honestly, the food is blah. The characters and dessert are fabulous. You will meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto. I am with pp...this will set a festive mood for your last night....and will be especially worth it to go back to the park if SpectroMagic is on. If you don't yet have a meal at Crystal Palace, their food is much better and the Pooh characters are also fantastic, and the restaurant is in the park.

I am always sad the last night anyway. I would pack that morning before you hit the parks then enjoy the last night there. We find the food on par with most of the buffets.

The park closes at 7pm that night for MNSSHP (we are not going). We are eating at Crystal Palace for breakfast a couple days before this day. When we originally planned this trip we were staying at Pop Century, nothing special to get back to the room for. Now they have upgraded us to SSR and if we eat at 7:30, we probably will not get back to the resort until 9:30pm or 10:00pm and with a 12 hour drive the next day, there will be no time for swimming that late at night. That is why I was thinking to change our ressies earlier but am having no success. If we eat earlier, we would have a chance to go back to the hotel at 7 when the park closes and let DD swim one last time before we leave the next day??? So confused!!!:confused3
