Hi guys :goodvibes

We are in Florida at the moment. We visited the wwohp, got a fast pass ticket but when we finally got in the place was heaving. We only wanted to go on the kids roller coaster (the flight of the griffindor) but the wait was over an hour. We have annual passes so if we went back to the park, nearing closing time, would we be able to get into the wwohp without a fast pass? And if so do you think the wait time would be less than an hour?

Thanks in advance :goodvibes

Went to the Florida mall today :cool1: Got a couple of pairs of crocs  but the build a bear shop was a bit disappointing :sad2: It didn't have the dogs that our DD's wanted!! Not to worry I am sure they will find something else to spend our hard earned cash on!!!

Ttfn.

You do not need a fast pass to get in to Harry Potter area, we have rode The Hippograff in July in the evening with a few mins wait, did not even need to use our room key

Hi Hope you are having a fun time!

We are going to the HP section on Tuesday morning with early entry, I would have thought that you would be able to get on the Hippograff if you go back quite late on the evening. We did this when TSM opened and the wait time said over 140 minutes at 20 minutes till park close but the CM told me that they leave the wait time high to discourage people from joining the line. The wait was actually about 25 minutes :thumbsup2

I found that even with early entry for staying at the Hard rock hotel, Harry potter land was far far quieter in the alst hour before shutting that it was early one. Infact the first hour (for hotel guests only) was mobbed!

Same day at 6pm, te whole place was deserted. Rode the castle ride 3 times in a row inside 40 minutes with no queues at all! (this was early october mind)

Thanks for the replies :goodvibes

I guess we will give a late visit a try then :goodvibes

I ve been reading a few threads over on the universal boards regarding exactly this. The overall consensus appears to be that's the latter end of the day is the quietest and first thing still manic, even with early entry! We are planning a visit this October but am dreading the queues!
