Heaven have mercy on me!

Tonight, I am going with my husband and son, plus two other families from our neighborhood, to see No Mercy live at the Continental Arena.

I'm not a wrestling fan, but my son and his neighborhood friends are into it in a big way.

Will I be nearly deaf tomorrow? How late will the show go? I'm worried that my son will need a tall glass of Pepsi with breakfast to get him through the school day tomorrow.

on tv at 6:30 and go until at least 10pm, sometimes later. That's central time and I know that the live show actually starts at 6 because they tap sunday night heat from there or something.

I would say plan on it going until at least 10 which means it will be 11 before you get out of there. I don't think it's too terribly loud, definitely not as loud as your typical rock concert, though I've only been to raw's and smackdown's never a pay per view.

Have fun!

I would rather clean my entire house on my hands and knees with a tootbrush than sit thru any kind of wrestling!!
You're a good Mom!

You're a good Mom!

Let's see if I can top that one!

I'd rather have someone pull out the hair on my legs, one single hair at a time with tweezers! LOL!

Better you than me Janice, you ARE a good Mom!::yes::

I admit I use to watch WWE. It's just like a soap opera for men.
It is stupid and silly at times.
The shows definetly are not as loud as rock concerts. I'm sure you son had a blast.

I took our son to the wrestling thing at Universal and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Some of the guys are nice to look at and quite athletic too. I'm not in a hurry to go back but I've done worse things.

I hope that it didn't make you crazy. :)

I survived!

It wasn't that loud. Ears are fine this morning.

I'm glad we didn't spring for expensive seats. The show wasn't that good. I certainly expected more.

And as usual when I attend something at the Arena, I am now wondering how it's perfectly legal to price gouge the way they do.

$3.50 for a cup of soda; $4.00 for a 20 oz. bottle (and you don't get to keep cap on it). $5.00 for a bag of Cracker Jacks. $4.00 for an order of fries. Ridiculous.

There is now a rule in place that you can't have bottle caps in the arena. What the heck is that about? Were people whipping them around and harming others?

I came in with a bottle of water; I take water with me nearly everywhere. On the way in during the "pat down," a security guard took the cap, saying my bottle wasn't allowed to have one. Then I saw signs by the concession stands that stated bottle caps are prohibited in the arena.

I don't get it.
