WWE'S Chris Benoit and his family found dead!

OH. MY. FREAKING. GOD!!

A newsbreak just came on an Atlanta station - This MONSTER, this piece of human garbage killed his son in a wrestling CHOKE HOLD!!:sad2: The little boy also had "tracks" all over his arm where he had been shot up with anabolic steroids.:sad2:

May God hold that child close.:sad1:

I am hearing that the son was being given Human Growth Hormones and that he may have had a disorder...My son was almost put on HGH because of his small size, but I decided against it .
HGH is used in the treatment of some growth disorders.

I do hope he is burning in hell as well, however, I just want to clarify what I heard on the news. The injection marks on the boy's arms were apparently from a growth hormone. They said the little boy was very, very tiny for his age and would actually be classified as a dwarf. I don't think it was something that wasn't prescribed to him although you never know :guilty:

They may have been doing this on their own:
The boy had old needle marks in his arms, Ballard said. He said he had been told the parents considered him undersized and had given him growth hormones.

"The boy was very small, even dwarfed," Ballard said.

Toxicology test results may not be available for weeks or even months, Ballard said. As for whether steroids played a role in the crime, he said: "We don't know yet. That's one of the things we'll be looking at."

Benoit received drug deliveries from a Florida business that sold steroids, human growth hormone and testosterone on the Internet, according to the Albany County, N.Y., District Attorney's Office, which is investigating the business, MedXLife.com.

Hold your horses, this was a completely false report that was started by speculation on the WrestleCrap forum. Of course, the media reported it with absolutely no verification as they do everything.

The HGH is a fairly common thing for people with growth disorders. That's what it was created for, not for performance enhancement. I've known several people that have taken it.

People are trying to turn this into something other than what it was, a horrific murder scene.

Which part of the report? The steroids part or the choke hold (or both)? I can see the explanation of the HGH being used, but my reaction was the thought of him using a choke hold, something that could damn near kill large men, to kill his own little boy.

I hate to sound stupid, but I don't watch wrestling so I have no idea what the moves are but what is a wrestling choke hold exactly? Obviously it's something that cuts the airway off but I was wondering if someone could be more specific.

How very very sad. :sad1: I did read somewhere that his child suffered from what I believe they called "fragile X" syndrome and some thought that might have played a part in him losing it. How anyone could do that to any child let alone their own. I think MONSTER is a good word for him right now.

Without bothering to discuss whether professional wrestling is a sport or not, let's focus on the topic at hand: Benoit. He is a murderer, there's not much more you can look at beyond that. He brutally murdered his own wife and child. I find it downright shocking that anyone would defend his actions, let alone idolize him after they've done something so friggin' crazy.

I don't respect his career. I don't respect what he's done in life. I don't respect him whatsoever. The very idea of airing any kind of tribute episode on TV absolutely and completely disgusts me.

The man is a murderer. I don't give a rat's behind about anything else he did in his entire life, whether career or otherwise. He's a murderer.

ETA: To use steriod use as an explanation to his act of rage is a total cop out. He knew what he was doing and completely ignored the risks. If his rage was indeed fueled by over use of ILLEGAL steroids, that does NOT allow any one any allowance.

ITA!

Here's a good article on Sports Illustrated that I'm posting. I'm sure the fans of WWE will pick it apart, but it's hard to dismiss.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/chris_mannix/06/26/benoit/index.html

Here's part of the article below

In November 2005, 38-year-old professional wrestler Eddie Guerrero died in a Minneapolis hotel room due to what a coroner later ruled as heart disease, complicated by an enlarged heart resulting from a history of anabolic steroid use.

In the aftermath of that tragedy, WWE chairman Vince McMahon announced a new drug policy, one that would give "no special consideration" to anyone and would involve frequent, random drug tests performed by an independent agency.

In the wake of this past weekend's murder/suicide case, in which steroids were found in the home of pro wrestler Chris Benoit, one has to wonder just how well the WWE's new policy is working.

From the local news channel.....

The WWE said that early Sunday morning, between 3:51 and 3:58 a.m., Benoit sent the following five text messages to co-workers:

Text Message 1 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:53 a.m.) - Chris Benoit's cell phone
"My physical address is 130 Green Meadow Lane, Fayetteville Georgia. 30215"

Text Message 2 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:53 a.m.) - Chris Benoit's cell phone
"The dogs are in the enclosed pool area. Garage side door is open"

Text Message 3 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:54 a.m.) - Nancy Benoit's cell phone
"My physical address is 130 Green Meadow Lane. Fayetteville Georgia. 30215"

Text Message 4 to two co-workers (sent 6/24 at 3:55 a.m.) - Nancy Benoit's cell phone
"My physical address is 130 Green Meadow Lane. Fayetteville Georgia. 30215"

Text Message 5 to one co-worker (sent 6/24 at 3:58 a.m.) - Nancy Benoit's cell phone
"My address is 130 Green Meadow Lane. Fayetteville Georgia. 30215"

The SI article is irrelevant because it's period of study was long before the WWE implemented it's wellness policy.

Steroids were still illegal...
It maybe irrelelvant to you but to me is shows that wrestlers know how to get PRESCRIBED steriods that would be exempt from WWE's wellness policy anyways.

Get it, all Vince wants is a prescription from a doctor and you can take all the steroids you want. The article proves wrestlers are very capable of getting those fraudulant prescriptions.

The choke hold, that was the false part.

We will see.

:sad2:

Ok call me confused but where have you seen anyone say that he should be honoured for his athletic abilities after ther reports surfaced that he killed his family???????????????????????
