WW Weekly Weigh-in

2 weeks to go till my WDW vacation, and 8 more pounds to go. My mom gave me extra incentive by saying if I can reach my goal weight she will give me $100. Granted she made this deal back in December and I am so close.

But I am going to do this healthily and if I don't make it I am as sure going to get as close as I can :-)
 
My dd and I joined last week too. We weigh in tomorrow night. I'm nervous about it but my dd says she is psyched for it. I'm glad. We have a lot to lose and if she can get a good start it will motivate her to keep going. I'm having a hard time but at 40 it just doesn't come off like it does at 18.:confused3
 
up 1.6 boo-hoo - nice steak dinner Fri. night and the monthly visitor - gotta blame it on something!

It's hard, I hear you. Hang in there....it will be worth it.

Why does a brownie taste so much better than an apple!!

Try to go busy yourself doing something to get your mind off the junk food.

I have a stash of Diet Barq's Root Beer that I drink for those cravings.

Hi, guys ... I'm actually joining on Thursday, but I started today. I need to lose about 50-60 (again). I'm a chronic WWer -- lost 65 in 2001; got pregnant in 2003 and gained 75; lost it all in 2005; gained 40 over the course of the last two years. We're going to WDW in March (just found out on Friday) so I'm hoping to drop 10-12 by then to get back in my shorts from last summer (ugh).

We're trying to get pregnant again (have been for about 18 months) and it's just the stress that's a killer. Oh, and I'm managing editor of a national trade publication -- I travel and eat pizza for a living (no joke).

I walked two miles on our treadmill tonight, so I'm stoked about that. Going to try to do that three times a week.
 
Hey guys...just found this thread! I have beeen on WW since July 29th. I have lost 38.6 since and loving it!! Still have 44 to go as my ticker states, but WW has been the best thing. I am on Core and really consider it a "lifestyle change" more than a diet. Some weeks you go up, mostly you go down, just never give up!!!!

Exactly that is what I tell people all the time. WW isn't a diet.
 
DD and I have our weigh in tonight.... I'm praying I've lost something. I've done well, but not perfect. It's so hard....
 
Happy to report I'm down one more pound. It is coming off slowly but it is coming off.

Congratulations to all who have seen losses this past week!!!:cool1: You are doing great and inspiring for all of us here.

Hugs:grouphug: to those who have seen gains, hang in there. It is hard and it is a definite up and down road, but it will work if we don't give up.

After a 1.4 gain last week, I stuck with the plan, used all my flex points, plus 4, and was thrilled to see a 2.8 loss this morning. I did not use any activity points this week, but did exercise 30-45 minutes 6 days, so that helped. I wrote every little thing down, and I swear, for me anyway, that is the key. Once I stop writing it down, I start eating and snacking with reckless abandon. So, I am setting a short-term goal every week, to continue tracking every bite for one more week, even if I go over on the flex points. It's only 7 days. I can certainly do that.

Tubachick- thanks for the support. I need to come around here more often when the desire to munch hits. Hope you staved off those cravings.

It's great to see so many people here. I've read through all the thread, and wish I had more time to respond. I think that's great that some of you have joined with your daughters. It is always so helpful to have others in the family on the same healthy track as you are.

I'm weighing in tomorrow....I am nervous! Friday night I had a massive eating binge! I blame it on PMS :rolleyes: I used up all my daily points by late afternoon and kept on eating. It was mostly healthy things....until I broke into the M&M's. :headache::sad2: Keep your fingers crossed for me

I glad to be able to stop by when I need the support, it has been really helpful. When I am on the road, I say what would the DISer's do? --- ;)

But keeping my hands busy on the keyboard, keeps the snacks out of my mouth!!! :laughing:

Tomorrow is WI for me... so we'll see if it works to type instead of eat ;)
 
Weighed in yesterday, and down one more pound for me! Total of 10 since Jan. 5 (WW online join date)--grand total of 45 pounds since Jan. 2006.:goodvibes
 
We had our first weigh in tonight (aside from the initial weigh in) I lost 3.2 and my dd lost 7.6!! :cheer2: I'm so happy!!!
