WW Weekly Weigh-in

Weigh in today----down 3.8!!! I am so excited. It feels like it was my first week at ww all over again, and I'm pumped to continue and lose the rest of this weight. I also get my 20 pound clippie since joining wish last may, and I'm in a new decade- down to 188.8 which I haven't seen in at least 7 years.
The 190s are gone forever. That's definitely motivation for me to stick with it.:woohoo:

Yay, Yay, Yay!!! Wonderful work Mikamah!!! I'm so happy for you. I love to reach the new 10 lb bracket below or decade as you said!! Do you think the difference was not eating all the 35? My leader suggested it to me last week. But this week I'm gonna be eating them all :eek: Oh well!!

Thanks fofinia. I did use 32 of the flex points last week, but I think for me it was just being honest with myself and writing everything down. Every little bite or taste of any snack, and measuring everything again, like having a bowl of cereal and taking the full 5 points instead of guestimating and only taking 3 which is what I'd been doing. I think it helped not to use my activity points.
I've been analyzing my ww history, and in the past, I'd join, lose some weight, and the stop going, and gain it back. In the past 7 months, I'd only really lost about 6 pounds, but I figure those 6 months were the months I would normally have stopped going to ww, and would have been gaining weight, but I was half heartedly doing it. So I'm hoping now I am refreshed and will be able to stick with it. The nice weather definitely helps. Wasn't today absolutely gorgeous?
I've never not used most of my 35 points, even back when I first started. I need them to get through the week. If you can do it, it's worth a try. You may just be on one of those plateaus, and time and perserverance will definitely get you through it. Good luck this week.

Tiggerlover- Thanks to you too for your never ending support. I too look at this as a lifestyle, but do envision my self as a life time meeting attendee in order to hopefully make goal, and maintain that loss. Some day it would be nice not to have to pay.;) You are tough and will definitely beat that little fat woman in your head.
 
Congrats to all the losers and still a "good job" to those who didn't. I had my first weight in on Saturday and am down three pounds. My elation was short lived though. My DD, four, became very ill on Saturday and is still not well. I actually spent most of today in emerg with her and DH. She has a bad case of the stomach flu and it was a horrible weekend. Food wise I hardly ate, never mind tracking or any of that. Today was the same. Only had coffee until dinner time and I had sworn off coffee three weeks ago. Alas, DD comes first. I still ate more than she did.

So, I ask for your prayers that DD gets better. She is still having lots of pain tonight and since returning from the emerg has had the tiniest bit of Pedialite. I will not wright off the week, but I may not weigh in either. For sure DD will lose the weight for me, sadly, but next week will be better.

Wow KJo great job getting the extra weight gain off in one week! It always takes me twice as long to get it off than it did to get it on!!!

Mermaid and Daisy, I'm so sorry you had gains. I've been gaining the last 3 weeks. And I just want to jump off of something. It is so frustrating. And I agree with you Mermaid about the bad habits being so easy to stick with! Daisy you will have a much better week next week. After TOM it will be all gone! Good luck!

Miss missy, Congratulations!!! so you hit over 10 lbs this week! Does your leader give out the 5 lb star stickers? I so look forward to getting those!! Good Job!

I had my 5 star, they give you a bookmark to put it on, which is lame.. I like my the old way, right in the book next to the date that got me 5. I didn't get a 10 because I went right after work and was late :( But I will get it next week!
 
Miss Missy, we weren't on a dining plan, we just ate when and where we wanted. We made ressies for one main meal a day, grabbed something at the hotel for breakfast and the rest of the day we winged it. I have to admit I used this trip as an excuse to eat things I hadn't had in a while. Every morning I had a toasted bagel with butter and I did eat two whole hot pretzels and a cookie ice cream sandwich. I enjoyed every bite and have no regrets what so ever. I did find myself making choices I normally would have ignored (good choices that is) and I didn't snack any more than that really. I wanted other things (Dole Whip for one), but didn't because I wasn't hungry when we were near by. So I definitely did better this trip than before I did WW.

OMG gosh! I loved the cream cheese prezel I got at MK. Not sure they have them anymore.. but if they do! :thumbsup2

We only made one ressie this vaca coming! We love to eat apple with carmel fro mthe hotel in the am... and will do as we please the rest of the time. I so hate being tied to a ressie! I know there are plenty of fruits available in and all over WDW, so I think I will do fine. We'll see.

I can say my MIL had that too, it was very painful to her too and she is very healthy. they say it last 5 days with the belly pain and it did for her. She said her belly was so noisy she was embarrassed LOL

I am sure DD will be OK, hang in there! :grouphug:

If so, you are lucky, she is an awesome leader! To answer your question, we all weigh on different days and then post (good or bad) here. You have come to the right place as there is a lot of support and motivation here....also some good ideas! Good luck on your journey.

MM, I didn't see any cream cheese pretzels, but I really wasn't looking for them. I bet they are yummy. When are you going?

Suz, hoping your DD is feeling better soon, I had that stomach thing a couple of weeks ago and was miserable for a couple of days. Sure hope the poor thing is on the mend soon. And although it is important to take care of her, it is also important to take care of you!!

Cool, then I will have my first weigh in this friday. I've survived my first day. Even got in all of my water!! woohoo!!!

isyne4u-:welcome: This is a great place to find motivation and inspiration. I weigh in a different day each week because my day off varies. I try to stay for a meeting, making it my "me" time. My son comes with me sometimes and plays with a few quiet toys. Sounds like you're off to a great start. Good luck.

Joann-Hope you had a great first weigh in. I do wear the same thing each week- a t-shirt, and thin nylon running pants, or nylon capris now that the good weather is here. I never wear jeans.:scared1:
 
pl'smama, I'm so sorry to hear about your poor DD. My DD's are 5 and 2 and I hate it when they are sick. It is one of my worst nightmares to have to have them in the hospital. Best of luck to you both and the rest of your family.

Joann, I know I'm a little late and you all ready weighed in. But I always weigh in in the same pair of pants. Actually they are jeans. But I figure if I wear them every week then I'm not really up at all. I try to find a lightweight shirt. Always short sleeves. Even in the dead of winter! I even try to wear lightweight socks! Don't know if it helps. But I usually only weigh about 1/2 pound heavier in my clothes than straight out of the shower. And my meeting is at 9 am. So I don't eat before I go. I would think for a 1pm meeting i would have to have eaten something. Good luck!

I weighed in and stayed the same. I didn't get to talk to my leader or leave her a journal. I used all my 35 except 4. And I really aimed to get my milk and oils this week. I'm going to keep trying this week for them too. Maybe I will see a difference. I hate to have gone through all this work for the last 9 months and then gain it all back. And I'm still working out. Maybe I'll start shrinking width wise even though my weight is not going down!!!!

Hi thanks for the replies.... well I did my first weigh in and even with it being TOM I was down exactly 2 pounds.... not bad seeing as tho I did eat some fast food thru the week ( stayed in my points tho!) She said I may be abit less but cause of TOM we don't know but I will take the 2 pounds ! Gratz to all others who had weigh ins and dropped.

Fofinia- Hang in there!! You're doing a great job sticking it out. I know how tough it is, but your pretty close to your goal, so it will come off more slowly. Looking at your ticker- almost 25 pounds in 9 months is pretty awesome!! I joined wish around 9 months after I joined WW this time, and I had lost 17 pounds then. I was down about 25 pounds at a year, 33 pounds at 18 months. I have about 33 pounds to reach the top of the ww goal range. Slow and steady and it will come off and stay off!!!!!! Keep up the awesome work!!!!!:cheer2:
 
Thanks for the good wishes and hugs everyone. DD is feeling better, but still not back to her normal self. Of course I to it too and it looks like DH is getting it now. Unfortunately this is the second time this year that our little family has come down with the bug. Will it ever end??

I will check back in a few days time. For some reason we all just want to sleep!!!!

For me personally, I do not eat before weigh in. I weigh in at 5pm and I usually eat my last snack around 2 or so. And I do wear the same clothes each week, a lot of people I know do, some really don't care, it is a personal choice. Congrats on your 2 pound loss, that is fantastic!

{{{{HUGS}}}} fofina! I know how frustrating plateaus can be. Curious, you said you have been working out, did you happen to take your body measurements when you started? A lot of times when there is no change in the scale there are changes in our bodies when we are exercising. If you haven't measured you should so you have something to reference back to. Hang in there! We are routing for you!!!

Suz, sorry to read that the bug is making the rounds in the family, that sure is rough. Sure hope everyone gets to feeling better soon.

Now for my update, I weighed in tonight and I lost 1.8 pounds this week, so I am right on top of goal again, but I still want to lose the rest of what I gained at Disney, so that leaves me with another 2.6 to go.

Congrats to all the ones that lost this week!!! :cool1: I went to WI tonight, and was EXACTLY the same this week!!! I lost 1.8 pounds when I WI last week, so I guess it is better than gaining!!! Maybe I can lose next week! I have lost 7 pounds in 2 months, so I am happy with that! I even had to go to Kohl's today to buy some new summer shirts since the ones from last year are too big now! That makes me feel good!!!:goodvibes
