WW Weekly Weigh-in

Hi everyone :wave2:

Just jumping in and introducing myself ! I have joined WW but have been struggling the past (1st) week to stay OP. Our life has been crazy with my daughter having RSV and other sickies rnning around. This next week I plan on really getting back on track and would love to mke some new WW DIS buddies who will help keep me on track !!
 
weighed myself this morning and i lost 0.8 lbs. i really hit a low on friday and thought i was going to gain this week (i had a large cherry coke at the movies on saturday night)! i was wrong! i even had a couple of cookies at easter, but i stopped myself from having my boyfriend's birthday cake (i took literally a shaving of it, just to taste it) i opted for the low fat angel food cake instead!

congrats to everyone who lost last week and tiggerlover it must be an awesome feeling hitting goal! congrats! :cool1:
 
Just got back from WI, lost another 1.8lbs.

Probably would have been more but I really didn't exercise as much as I should have... Really gotta find my 'groove' with that!
 
Just back from WI. I lost 4.2 pounds this week!!! :) My total since I started WW on March 12th is 14.2 pounds

These last few weeks have just been nuts for our family. I am a stress eater too - so that is NO help. I went to meeting last night and lost 3.8 lbs - so hooray !! :cool1: I need that loss this week. It will motivate me to work harder next week !
 
Hello All...

Tomorrow morning I join WW ! A real first timer.

As a newbie, I'll probably ask a million questions and think of a milliom more.
Ive had some health issues in the very recent past, and Dr. says Im still go on the exer"size". Im really excited about joining...:cool1:

Looks like I'll have a great support team here too!Nice meeting all of you!
 
Weigh-in was yesterday. Lost 2 pounds. That's a total loss of 10.2 pounds so far!! :banana:

The best part - I can really feel the difference in my jeans. They're actually a little loose!!!

Msslaydbug- :welcome: And congratulations on your awesome first week loss!!!! Hope your little one is feeling better. Stress eating is so hard to beat, but looks like you did great this week.

iggbees- congratulations on your loss, and making good choices. WW is so nice that you can have anything you want, as long as it is in moderation. Angel cake is great cuz a big piece is pretty low point. I make a trifle with angel cake, a box of vanilla pudding, (made with skim milk) and mixed with a tub of fatfree coolwhip and fruit. (i use fresh strawberries + blueberries and a can of peaches, and you just layer it. I try to bring that to parties so I have a good treat.

Bareacuda-:welcome: A first time WWer!! I'm a multi time WW, but this time is my last time. I'm planning to stick it out this time, as I always quit, and gain back all I lost, plus. It's a great program, and it really works. I like it best because you can eat anything as long as you plan for it. Good luck.

:wave2: fofinia- hope you had a good weighin today. The pedometer does sound like fun. I would think if you are near a big number at the end of the day, it would motivate you to do a little more walking. I might pick one up.

I was down a whopping .2 today, but am happy with a loss. I had gained last week, but thought I should have lost, and on friday went out to dinner and ate way too much, and did splurge on Easter, but not as bad as I could have been. So this week I lost and should have gained, so now I'm motivated to stay on track, and make it a true loss next week.

And Mikamah Congrats on your loss too! I've had my pedometer on all day. And I was at the mall for a few hours. I'm up to 11,000 steps. And it's not quite 6pm so I will probably do a bit more. I don't feel like I've done a lot or anything but I keep hearing we should aim for 10,000 a day. So we'll see...


Well yucky weigh in for me today. I am up .6lbs. Which is exactly what I lost last week. I don't know. I tried to talking to the leader today about it. And she is always saying that if you are having a problem she will be glad to look over your food journals. So I brought in 3 weeks worth. The first one with my 1lb gain, then .6 loss and this week's .6 gain. And she told me because I hadn't checked off the blocks on the bottom showing water, veggies, milk etc. to Bring in another journal for next week after I did that and she'll look then. I'm really frustrated. I feel like I just got reprimanded in school for not completing my homework correctly.

What I really wanted to know was if I should be eating the extra points for the activity I earned. I've been eating them all along and my losses haven't been consistent. So this week I didn't eat them at all and I gained. I just don't know what to do. But the receptionist that I've been talking to the last few weeks about it, took my journals and said she would look them over for me. Maybe she will have some insight.

Guess I will stick it out a little while longer. but my frustration level is so high, I really don't want to.

WOW!!! I know exactly how you feel! I went to WI tonight, and I gained .2 pounds(which according to the ladies at WW, that is not really a gain because it is not a large amount). The lady that weighed me said I "stayed about the same". I guess I will take it since Easter was this past week, and I ate way too much for the holiday(not too much bad stuff, just too large of portion sizes, I think). I asked her what I should do to lose again(this was the first time I had a small gain in 5 weeks. I have still lost 5.2 total). She said to make sure I am eating ALL my points. She also said water was key, as well as upping my exercise. Water and exercise are not the problems because I do that. I think I save too many points for dinner, and then I don't want to eat all my points because it is too much food. I think I will spread the points out a little more during the day, and have those 2 point snacks. She also recommended eating some of my flex points, because I rarely do that. She says if you don't eat enough, my body will hold onto the fat. I guess it makes sense....So, hopefully I will have better news next week!!!:wizard:
 
fofinia-:grouphug: to you on your bummer week at ww. It sounds like your receptionist is more support than your leader. Hopefully she will have some insight for you next week. Don't give up. I know how frustrating it is to lose sooooo slowly, and to go up and down with the same couple of pounds for months. Maybe you should give it a couple weeks without using the Aps. Some people have a lag and what you do one week doesn't show up til 2 weeks later. Sounds like you are doing the exercise. 11,000 steps sounds like a lot. If we were in the same class, I'd flunk journalling too. I write down everything, though not very legibly, and I didn't ever notice the boxes at the bottom.:confused3 Try to hang in there. Hopefully this is just a plateau and if you stick it out, it will pass and you'll be on a losing streak soon. Good luck. You can do it!!:cheer2:

Harvest02- Good luck to you this week. When I'm following the program strictly, I seem to lose more when I use more flex points than not. I think it does help the metabolism. You can do it!:cool1:

I too had a loss this week 3.2 :cool1: I was 2 days early for my WI too! I am happy that the 2 gain last week was def TOM thing. Keeping track of when to expect that gain.
 
Last week's WI for me was awesome--2.8!

Unfortunately this week I'm up 3.2!!!!!:eek: :eek: :eek:

I did not journal a thing all week, so I was completely off program. Not intentionally but it happened.

I have come so far and have a bit to go still, so I am trying to put it behind me and focus on the positives.

Harvest, sorry you had a gain this week too! But I found it interesting what she said to you at your meeting. I've been eating all my points (plan and flex) all along. And my weight loss has been inconsistent. So I was debating about maybe not eating my flex at all this week. I thought why not try it. I wish I could know for sure that I wouldn't gain though if I do it! :confused3 Good luck to you this week!!

Hello everyone, I am officially on the band wagon again, as of today. I have not even had my breakfast yet, but I know what I will have ( i think!!!)) I am a repeat offender of WW, maybe three times now. I am doing a challenge with some ladies at work and I hope this motivation does the trick.

I do think this place, the DIS boards, will be a great help. I have been on the boards for a bit now and decided that since I enjoy the rest of it so much the WISH area would be the boost I need to lose, lose, lose. So, I hope it is alright for me to jump right in with everyone.

The posts I have read so far have been so inspirational and uplifting. I can see how much you support one another and that is terrific. I am looking forward to this journal more so now.
