I work for Dominos Pizza, and I just found a nutrition pamplet. If your family likes to order Dominos and you want to know how many points something is, just ask.

I was happy to discover that one kicker is only ONE point!!!! It's the blue cheese dipping cup that kills ya!

My problem is not the dip, but who can stop at just one kicker :rotfl:
 
You guys have really inspired me this week. Everytime I started to have that urge to sneak a bite of something I wasn't supposed to, I would read and reread about all of your losses this week and it really paid off for me. I weighed this evening and was down 7.2 pounds! :yay: That is almost all of what I gained over the Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays. I am so psyched and I owe it to you! Thanks for accepting me into your group and encouraging me :love:

Hang in there mik....we all have bad days, we just have to pick up the next day and get back to what we know is right. I fell off last night myself, went to a pj party bunko and the food buffet was breakfast, I haven't eaten breakfast since I started WW (I have a WW shake every morning), so I ate like I was not going to eat breakfast again. No biggie, today is a new day and I am starting fresh, but good for you for being accountable and journaling your points!!

Disney1fan2002, is there anything at Dominos with reasonable points? Inquiring minds want to know!

My theory on "slips" is that if I eat healty 90% of the time I am still doing better then I was before so I try not to beat myself up too much. The thing to do is get back on track and not just let it become a recurring issue. (you know the "I screwed up so I might as well quit" All that gets you is right back where we started and then some :rotfl2: )

I jumped on the scales this morning for my weekly weigh in and I was down 2.5 lbs. So my total since recommitment is 4.5 (and why does that sound like I should BE committed! :rotfl: Might be true!)

My January goal is 5 lbs so there is hope. I travel most of every week so I know there are going to be "slips" and meals I just don't count right.:rolleyes1 However, I am aiming for a slow steady MAINTAINABLE lifestyle.

Everyone have a great weekend. You are an inspiration. We are beginnning the process of painting my bath and bedroom. (Does that count as activity points? :banana: )
 

I have had an awful eating day. I started with 3 pieces of Dove chocolate after breakfast, ... had 3 more pieces of dove chocolate. ... but then I just started in on the chocolate and ate 11 more points worth.

You are not alone in your chocolate fixation. I've been doing awesome all day long and then in the evening after kids go to bed, I can't refrain. I was able to keep in the house for months and not lose control. I don't know what is going on this week.

I really want to lose this week cause i leave for 10 days on the dining plan soooon!

Thanks for posting makes me feel less ashamed of my own failure!

Somehow I was up .4 lbs this morning at weigh in. I even paid attention to counting points. I am going to write down everything this week and see how I do. I'm not so good at that. I told the lady at the desk I seem to lose when I don't count the points. She said it may be because when you see you have 4 points left you make sure to use them up. When you don't count, she said you already know in your head what a good choice is and you tend to make it.

Thank all you guys so much for the support. It's so nice to come back on here and hear from so many of you. I couldn't do this without you. I am back on track today, and have a 4 point dinner planned leaving 6 points for snacks. Snacks are important to me. No chocolate today though. I'll have to go back to picking up just one Lindt ball at the store when I need a chocolate fix.

I'mWong- congratulations!!!!! What an awesome loss!!!!

CarolA- Congrats on the loss this week!!! You're off to a great start. I think painting is such a pain, you could definitely take points for it. All that bending and stretching.

Talking about restaurant points, there is a web site called Dotties weight loss zone (DWLZ.com) that has a ton of restaurants listed with their menus and points values. I like to go on and check out the menu before I go out to eat and make a plan.

OMG! I have been ROCKIN on this program. Really, to be honest, it is the 1st time in 6 years I have really committed myself to it, and I have been going to the Y, burning up those calories. I have been drinking my water.

I have stayed within my points everyday, I have WALKED away from foods that have been too tempting. Heck, we took DS to the movies Saturday night, and he sat next to me munching on his popcorn, and I didn't take ONE kernel from him. Not ONE. THAT was tough!

I WI on Wednesdays, so today, as much as I am trying to stay off the scale, it called to me. I got on and found out I am UP a pound!!!!!!!!! HOW CAN THIS BE??????

You gain weight when you intake more calories than you burn off, correct? I have not been consuming excessive calories, and I have been burning the ones I have consumed OFF.

I want to scream. I know it is @^#$^&! water retention, but come on man. I have some dioretics my Dr prescribed a long time ago. I took one today, and I am going to take one tomorrow. Once the water is down, we'll see what the scale says.

I so want to cry right now.
 
Oh Disneyfan :grouphug: I feel your pain. Literally!

I weighed in this morning and was up .2. And I stuck to the plan this week. Had 2 points left over. It's just about that time of the month for me. So I'm blaming it on that. Try not to be too downhearted. So many times I've had a great week and the scale did not reflect it. Our leader says some people's bodies need a week to catch up! So don't give up. Next week you are going to see a difference, if you don't tomorrow.

I've also heard it recommended a lot to eat your activity points. Although, if you are in your first 3 weeks they don't give them to you yet.

Definitely do the diuretics. I did that a few months ago. I knew I had been good all week and the day before I officially WI I checked at home and was up. I remembered some saltiness, so took the pills and drank like crazy the day before and had a loss. I needed it emotionally.

Hi everyone! I've been away for a while due to having a baby but I'm back. I started points last week and I'm down 2.2 lbs as of today's weigh in. I was hoping for more but I didn't exercise as much as I wanted to/should have and I fell off the points wagon on Sunday due to the Pats game! :cheer2:

A quick check in for me, I wish I had time to read all the posts, but time is short. Wanted to post that I weighed in tonight and lost another pound. So it is 5 more to goal! Hope everyone is doing alright and having a good week. Onward and downward!!! I'll be back when I have more time.
 
I've been having an OK week. Not out of control, but could be better. I weigh in on thurs, and will be happy with any loss this week.

Fofinia- Have an absolutely wonderful time in WDW. I am so jealous. I just took my son last month for his first trip, and I can't wait to go back. It is such a magical place. He had a blast. Good luck with the dining plan. Don't sweat it too much, it's vacation you know. Have fun!!!!:smickey:

Disney1fan2002-Hang in there. It sounds like you are doing everything right, and you can't help some bloating now and then. I'm sure if you stick with it, even if you have a gain this week, it will come back off plus next week. Look at how awesome you're being- not one popcorn kernel!!!!!! You can do it!!:cheer2:

Been real busy and haven't had a chance to post....but I am down another 1.8 pounds! Hopefully this will be another good week.
 
I weighed in today, I am down 2.4 pounds for a total of 13 pounds since Nov. 13th.

I guess it is not a bad loss for 9 weeks. :)
 
I weighed in today and am down .2, which I expected. I am happy that I didn't gain. I had gone way overboard earlier in the week and used all my flex points, but had a hard time staying in my daily range. I kept track and I used 30 points above the 35 fps this week. Keeping track definitely helps me. If I stopped writing, I'm sure I would have used double that. I think when you start maintenance you get 28 extra points a week, so I guess that works. It's a new week for me tomorrow, and I'm gonna ration those flex points through the week.

mikamah way to go! Any loss is a step in the right direction. Sounds like you had alot of temptation this week. I am sure next week will be better for you.

I have had a rough week. Didn't track, so have no idea where I stand. I hate it when I do that. I have to weigh tonight since my normal day is Friday evening and we are having a lock-in at the school where I teach. We will see when I get there how bad I really did. I was hoping for atlease a couple of pounds to get me back at 50 lost, but I don't think I will make it. The cold weather has made me want to do nothing but stay on the couch under a blanket!
 
I had my first official weigh in today, although the number was scary, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be... Now that I've started, expect me to be around for a while!!!

Hang in there I'mWong, I had one of those weeks last week and still lost a pound....not sure how I did, but my eating was all over, with one pig out night!

I have an event tomorrow night and thankfully my friend who is on WW is hosting and she calculated the points of all the food she is serving (WW and non-WW) so I have a better grasp of what I will be eating before I go. Now if I can stay away from the 12 PT cake I will be okay.

Onward and downward!
