WW Weekly Weigh-in

I went to WW last night. My weight went up 1.8 lbs. - no big surprise, I haven't done very well over the holidays. Time to recommit and make it work.:guilty:

Congratulations Tiggerlover!!! way to go. Did you get your keychain? And I also have to agree with Kathinowa. You are always welcoming and supportive thank you.

Welcome back Heatherfeather! I didn't do WW while nursing my babies at the beginning. So I never got to eat those extra 10 points!!! They always looked good though!

Welcome Bashful as well. At my meeting today there were 15 new people. so you are starting in good company. Glad you made the commitment to start! You'll do great!

Mel C. I'm sorry you had a rough December!! I look forward to losing with you now.

Sorry about your gain Iwantmydvc. I feel for you. It seems like everyother week i'm up.

Weighed in today and was down 2.2!!!!!!! I'm so happy. I know I didn't really lose it all this week. I was puffy and retaining some fluid last week for sure. But that's ok! I'll take any loss, anything at all.

Thanks Mikmah for the advice while at the world. I'm going to get some fruit to keep in the room and probably do bars like you did for breakfast. Hopefully if I choose salad for lunch and for a pre-dinner appetizer (on the dining plan so I get an app) then not eat anything fried.... Hopefully everything will be not too bad?!?!? I don't know if I can limit myself to a dessert only every other day though. That is my weakness for sure. But very good advice and I'm going to try.

Of course if I was really good, I would go down to the gym and burn up some calories. But I all ready know that I won't.

Good luck all. Keep up the good work!

tiggerlover: Congratulations on your loss!:cheer2:

I also wanted to thank you for your inspirational and supportive posts. They are a great help to me!:thanks:

Thank you. And you are welcome. Inspiration and support is what WISH is all about and a great tool in keeping on track and motivated. There are many here that do it for me so I am happy to share in return.

Heatherfeather, I am really pressed for time this week, but hopefully by the weekend it won't be so crazy here and maybe I can post the questions here for you.

MelC and IWantMyDVC, gains are hard, but you both beat the odds, according to my leader the average person gains 7-14 pounds from Halloween to New Years, so you both are under the average! MelC, 1+ pound down is a great start. It's a new year so onward and downward we go!

fofinia, :cool1: WOO HOO HOO HOO for you!!!! You go!!! 2.2 is awesome! I hope you added your total to the WISH weight loss 2007 thread!

Keep on keeping off everyone!!!

Okay, now it is time for my confession post. Today was a terrible, terrible day....must have been partly the fault of the full moon, but I gave into some stress eating and thought I would feel better if I put it out in the open. Today started off like the movie Groundhogs Day.....my clock was stuck on 5:54, the first time I woke up I was like, great I have a couple of minutes. I must have fallen back to sleep and I woke up and it was like deja vu...still 5:54. I laid there for a few minutes and when the clock didn't move I jumped out of bed realizing it was after 6:00. UGH, not a great way to start off your 40th birthday!!! So after running around and DH and DS trying to do great things for my birthday I flew off to work. Day started good, but there was one problem after another, but I was looking forward to DH coming for lunch. 11:30 DH calls, the brakes went out on his car....luckily he was okay and got it to the shop, but no lunch (and I didn't bring one). So I run out and get lunch (which was yummy sushi) and come back to more issues. But bless my sweet co-workers hearts they have balloons (black) and flowers and cards and instead of our usual cake they brought fruit. Day continues to be crazy and I am ready for the end. After work I rush to get DS, we need to grab a bite and then run off to middle school orientation, so I say the heck with it and we go to Friendly's and I am having a big fat hot fudge sundae for dinner. After being seated and waiting 10 minutes someone finally takes our order...I ended up with a Big Kids meal grilled chicken wrap, WITH FRIES and a two scoop hot fudge sundae. Had a terrible server so that kind of blew it for me and I thought the food would be fabulous, I thought it would make me feel better, but guess what.....it didn't. So I guess I learned a lesson about emotional eating. What a day....so glad it is over and so glad DH has something planned for Saturday because this day was not one I wish to remember. But the lesson I learned is something that I hope I do remember the next time I am stressed.

well, it's a good thing I had lost 6 pounds the first 2 weeks of December, because that's exactly what I gained in the last 2 weeks! LOL I am OK with that though, maintaining through the holidays is a victory. I went completely off plan for those 2 weeks and enjoyed myself immensely. Travel, parties, family, etc! As of 2007 I am back on plan though, and am looking forward to a loss next Tuesday. :)

Welcome to everyone who is new here or to WW, and let's all be big losers this year! I started WW one year ago (Jan 9th) and I would never ever have imagined that I would be here with the kind of success I have had one year later!! You can do it!

Here's to making goal this year!

oh, we cross posted, tiggerlover!

Happy Birthday!! I turned 40 last year, so I know what that's like, lol. I'm sorry the day wasn't the best, but that sundae sounds good. :)

I do agree that food doesn't "satisfy" me anymore the way I used to think it did, if that makes any sense.

Hope you have a nice time celebrating this weekend!!

Oh my Goodness!! We could be twins!:)

I'm sorry you had a terrible day.:upsidedow And I hope it works out better for you on saturday. But boy when you said Friendly's could I relate. For the last 4 months I've been saving up my weekly 35 for a sundae at friendly's. I prefer the peanut butter cup one. And I just couldn't function or make it through a week without having it planned. Glad to know I'm in good company!

Sorry to hear about your gain chamonix. But I like your tag line to be big losers together! and I agree with you about food. I've been able to resist the sundaes lately because they haven't been hitting the spot at all. Come to think of it nothing does :cool1: Maybe that's a good thing.

Here's to a better tomorrow!

 Hi Kim! Do you really only get 18 points....that would kill me. With the new program everyone gets different points based on a new questionaire, you may want to check it out as you may qualify for more points.
Congrats on your loss Debbie! :cheer2: You're a better lady than I! :sad2: And yes, when I re-entered my stats at WW online, I was SHOCKED to see 18 points also! :scared1: I don't remember EVER getting that low in points when losing before. :confused3 Needless to say, I've been over by a point (or few) the last 2 days. :rolleyes1

tiggerlover: I also wanted to thank you for your inspirational and supportive posts. They are a great help to me!:thanks:
As well as myself, from MY beginning!!

UGH, not a great way to start off your 40th birthday!!!
:bday: party: :cake: Despite all the not-good, you HAD a Birthday today!!! WOOHOO!!! Happy, Happy 40th!!!!!!!! :cool1: :tigger: :dogdance:

Happy Birthday Tiggerloverparty:
Congratulations on making your 10%!!!! Whoo hoo. What a great birthday present to yourself. Sorry your day was less than stellar. Stress eating is the worst because you end up feeling more stressed afterward for eating too much. I did a lot of stress eating this weekend, but have been back on track since tuesday, and hoping for a little loss on saturday. I bought a house the month I turned 40, and left my 3rd floor(no elevator) condo, and proceeded to gain almost 30 pounds. Didn't mind 40, but wasn't happy at 41. Hope you have a great celebration on saturday, and the stress is gone the rest of the week.

Chamonix- congratulations on maintaining over the holidays. I gained 3.4 last week, but over the past 2 months was down a total of .2. Not much but at least it was a net loss.;) the holidays come but once a year, thank god, and now it's a fresh new start. Good luck this week.

Have a great week everyone!!!:cheer2:

:bday: tiggerlover :tigger:

I am so happy to report of 4 lb loss this week. After gaining last week I was a little down but happy that I lost my gain and then some.

Have a great week everyone!

Congratulations!!!!! That's a great loss. You are definitely starting this year off on the right foot!!!:thumbsup2

I have had only a fair week, not as good as I was hoping, and I'm a little nervous about weighin. I'm hoping being on track the past 4 days will help give me a little loss. We see in the morning.

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone.

Kudos KATHINOWA, great totals!

Kim, I am so surprise, but I guess you are at a lower weigh than I am so your 2# weight is lower....but gosh 18 PTS, I think I wouldn't be able to make it. I am refusing to go to my 21 PTS, 18 would put me over the edge.

chamonix, thank heaven for the 6 pound because if you hadn't lost them to begin with you would be 6 pounds more, so now you start the new year with a clean slate. Hang in there.

I have been eating way too much this week, too much stress, I really need to get a grip on this!

Onward and downward!

Congratulations Kathiniowa!! 4 pounds in one week! How do you do it? Do you not eat your weekly 35? Awesome.

I gave in and ate some french fries, cookies and 1/2 a quesadilla today. I don't think I've killed the week but who knows. Going to the in-laws tomorrow, and they know I love dessert and always have something good. I think I'll have a salad for breakfast!!! LOL

Hope all goes well for everyone!

I was down 1.2 this week, which was great for me, since last weekend I continued to eat like I never heard of WW, but the past 4 days staying on track definitely helped. I'm gong to start walking after work again. I lost the routine somewhere around Thanksgiving, and it always made me feel better and eat healthier when I got a little exercise. I have no excuse now. We are having unbelievable warm weather. It's 62 degrees out already.

Have a great weekend everyone. Keep up the great work!!!!

Can I slink back in here??

I started LAST year on WW and did pretty well until mid June. I just lost my motivation with the full time travel I have been doing. I gained back about 5 lbs that I had lost.

So I am doing WW online this year. :surfweb: I know the meetings help but the only one I can go to here is on Saturday mornings and I just don't really like the leader so I quit going.

Anyway, this week I am down 2 lbs. (I know most of it's water, but I will take what I can get. :rotfl2: )

Can I join this thread again? I had joined awhile back- I don't remember exactly when, but since then I got pregnant and had my little girl. She was born 7 weeks premature, so the added stress of the NICU did not help with losing the baby weight! She's 7 months old now and I've been really trying to get back on track for a couple of months now- I started WW online in Oct. and so far I've lost 12 pounds. It's been a very slow process- I think it's because I'm still breastfeeding and I'm hungry all of the time, but I've started eating better and I go to baby boot camp (a fitness class for mom and baby) twice a week. I managed to maintain during the holidays, so I was very happy about that! This week I lost half a pound, not bad, but we're taking a short trip to Disney in 4 weeks (our little girl's first trip!), so I need to stay on track these next few weeks and lose a little more!

I very rarely eat any of the 35 extra points. I have to admit that I have quite a bit to lose and think it comes off a little easier for me because of that. I am very restrictive with my diet and am exercising at least an hour every day. My youngest started kindergarten in September and I am using this year to get myself healthy. I truly feel this is my chance to do it right this time. I also had a gain the week before (unfairly I thought) so I do think that helped with a 4 lb loss for this week.
