Way to go on signing up for the Minnie. How did the TM go last night? There is no better motivation than a trip to WDW. :cool1:

Ok, I fess up - no treadmill last night.

I got home later than I planned on from my weigh in. It was well after 8pm by the time I could do it. I finally decided sleep was important since I get up for work at 3am.

No excuses today though!

:cool1: Happy Dance! :cool1:

Down 1.2 for my first meeting back after "sabbatical." Very pleased

Also, just signed up for e-tools. :surfweb: FUN and EASY. I'm guessing that the on-line points tracker is going to keep me a little more honest, too. :rolleyes1

Have a great week!

WI this morning and only down 0.6lbs but I guess that's better than a gain. It was a tough week. PMS (which meant all I wanted all week was everything deep fried and covered in chocolate), lots of stress over a Respiratory and Blood Test for Nursing school (which I did manage to squeek a B on), and NOT A SINGLE DAY AT THE GYM!!! (too stressed about the test-since I practically failed last weeks test)
Today hasn't been great- I did great until I went to Cold Stone Creamery. I know I could have been better but the Mint Ice Cream that I haven't had in 6 months, was screaming my name so I caved. I didn't even write down the points for it, but I am sure it was alot.
However, thanks to Andy (our awsome WW leader) I am going to be back on track this week. Lots of water and at least 4 days during the week to the gym.
Good luck all! Hope your week was better than mine!!!

Sleep is necessary if we have to work. Hope you are able to get in some TM time this weekend.

I'll join the dance with you. :cool1: :cool1: Good going on your WI. I enjoy e-tools especially for the recipe builder.

Don't let the past week worry you. It sounds like you have a plan already set up to help you make better choices this week. You did have a loss and that is great and I'll bet next WI will be another loss. Hope you have a much better week.

I've finally dropped a bit. I'm down a total of 7 lbs from the beginning of January.

Good going on your loss this week and for January. Keep up the great work!

Congrats on the loss -- in spite of the PMS, Stress, and Ice Cream.

I  Cold Stone Mint Ice Cream! As my leader says: None of us are angels. Don't regret your cheats, just get back on track -- especially true when the offending item is as yummy as Cold Stone Mint Ice Cream.

I've never had Cold Stone before. I'm going to try to forget about it and not go searching one out. I do love Mint Ice Cream though but haven't had any in a while. I am being satisfied with WW ice cream for now.

I went to WI today and was down 4 pounds. That brings me to a total of 20 so far. :cool1: As I mentioned to my buddies this morning, it feels so good to finally be feeling in control of my eating instead of the food being in control.

Journaling and planning ahead has really been helping. If I know what is for dinner that helps me plan out my breakfast and lunch so I don't run out of points by the end of the day.

:cheer2: Congrats :cheer2: Both on the loss and for taking control.

That is GREAT Tammy :cheer2: ! Super motivation for the rest of us!! Are you working out too besides the meal planning? 4lbs is a great accomplishment in one week for WW (especially when it isn't your first week).
Planning helped me survive the holidays and maybe thats what I should get back to in a regular week. I stopped worrying about everyone elses schedule and worked my own. Dinners are hard but I think the days I am at the hospital are harder- like today. Don't feel motivated to make my lunch or sometimes even make my breakfast. Dunkin Donuts coffee- :goodvibes I always save points for -is always my morning staple but sometimes I splurge and get a Boston Cream (5pts) or God forbid a bagel with butter (9) :guilty: and that kind of blows my whole day. I have a WW bagel in the toaster so that should solve that problem this morning, but carrying a lunch into the hospital is kind of a pain. I will definately work on it.

Thanks Tammy for planting that good old "planning ahead" seed back in my brain. Have a GREAT week!!!!

Well this morning was my final WI before our trip (we leave in 12 hours :cool1: ) and I was down another 5 pounds which puts my total at 15 pounds. Not too shabby considering my original goal was 10 pounds before the trip and I modified it to 12 pounds before the trip!!! :teeth: I have not been perfect with my eating but it feels good to have accomplished this goal. I am not counting points on vacation but I hope I can use these past few weeks of success as motivation to make a few smarter choices. My goal now is to not gain more than 2-3 pounds on the trip. ;)

Congrats to the losers and to all of us just trying to be healthier!!!

I will check back in around the 13th!!!! :sunny:

I am getting some walks in during the week. DH & I are going to the local track and trying to get in 2 miles at least 3-4 days a week.

On the days you are at the hospital, how about trying a can of Progresso soup. Some are 2 pts for 1 cup and some are 1 pt for a cup. Add a couple of slices of low pt bread and you'd have a decent lunch. I am also using sometimes for breakfast one of the WW breakfast bars. I'm not much of a breakfast person so I'm happy if I get a banana down or one of those bars. I did eat a bowl of Rice Krispies with fresh blueberries this morning.

I am making an Orange Chicken that is a WW recipe tonight for dinner. If it is good, I'll post the recipe tomorrow.

You do have to remember yourself when you are trying to stay OP. Everybody else's schedule will come first if you let it. Just try to plan ahead at least on your super busy nights and that will help too.

Have a great week everyone!

Have a wonderful trip.

You should be so proud of yourself for going over your original goal. I bet you will be more aware of your choices for meals without missing out on anything.

Have fun!!

Week three - down another 1.4 pounds. Can't say that I'm disappointed, but I really thought I'd be losing at a faster rate. I'm eating SO much less and SO much better than I was three weeks ago. I'm not bummed or anything - just surprised.

I signed up for the two-week free trial of the online tools, so I hope to get a lot of food ideas over the next two weeks. I'm already in a food rut.

This week, I also want to cut down on my reliance of the WW meals - I'm afraid of how much sodium they have.

Congrats to everyone who lost this week!

Try the mint skinny cow ice cream sandwiches. They taste like Girl Scout thin mint cookies! I don't know about points but they are only 140 calories.

1.4 in a week is a good loss. I think that our bodies put up a fight about wanting to let the pounds go. Maybe try for some fresh veggies, etc. in place of some of your WW meals.

Keep up the great work.

I'll have to put those on the grocery list to check out this week. Thanks for the info.
