:cool1: What a great friday the 13th.
Found time to WI this morning after taking my test and the review of the answers. Drum roll please...... Down 1.6lbs. HOORAY!!! That's 42.5 lbs total!!! Then I went tanning- felt awsome just being a little trimmer in that tanning booth. Then made it back in plenty of time to find out that I got the second highest grade on the test. :teeth: (Alot of people failed it so that made me feel bad-I don't like to see the rest of my class struggle-I guess that's why they made me president. :) )
Took the puppies to "camp" and we have a DOG FREE night!!!! :dog2:
Then tomorrow it's OFF TO WDW!!!! Getting up at 4:00am to make our flight is a little rough but it's all worth it. Now if my DH would actually come home sometime before 9:00pm tongith I would be thrilled.
Good luck every body!!! I will give you a full report when I return! Maybe I will be able to find some helpful info about WW pts when I am down there. I will check in at a WW center in Kissimee if I get a chance.

Hi everyone!

I am a WW meeting member also. Can I join this thread? I am usually over on the Community Board, but I figure, if I am going to waste my day on the DIS, I may as well be in a place where I can be inspired to lose weight!

My name is Marie, I am 38 years, married with 3 kids. I have struggled with weight my whole life, but it wasn't until 5 years ago that I got sick with RA and was put on a high dose of prednisone that I ballooned over 200 pounds. Up and down with the prednisone...last year, I hit my highest weight ever...243.7lbs! :faint: I was so very afraid of hitting 250 lbs. Under the care of my Dr, he finally put me on Meridia. My prednisone dose had come down, i know had to retrain my brain to stop wanting food. the Meridia was a God-send. It took all my cravings away, and I stopped thinking about when I could eat again. It has enabled me to go on the WW program, and not "cheat". I have a hard time eating all my points. Since last January, when I weighed in at 243.7....I have lost over 37 pounds. I am almost in Onederland! A place I have not been in 5 years! I still have a long road ahead, but with WW's and a new attitude toward food, I know I can go all the way this time!

I look forward to reading all your success stories! :)

I'm back.....again.

I didn't want to post earlier because I was afraid I would jinx myself but I started eating healthier about 2 weeks ago (not WW exactly but I keep an estimated point total in my head for now) and as of this morning I was down 8 pounds!!! :cool1: Unfortunately I still have so very far to go. After having Allie and some medical and emotional issues I let myself gain about 50 pounds in the last year. :( It sure is amazing how fast you can pack the pounds on. Now I have even more to lose than ever before but I know I need to do this for myself and for my kids. I don't want them to have a Mom who dies young because I liked food too much. :guilty:

Thought I'd jump in here too. First week of rejoining WW. Lost five lbs.... Started at 221.6. Down to 216.6. Not a bad start. Had to rejoin after regaining 40 of 47 lbs lost in 2003. :sad1:

Is it me or do you need to go to meetings too. As soon as I stopped attending I started to slowly gain weight. Here I am about 2 years later starting all over again..... :confused3 :confused3

Good luck to all of you. Have a good week, day, or meal.

I think the meetings are critical! Everyone says they are, I know I would NEVER have stuck with this over a year without them, and my good friend Stacey is a lifetime member who gained back almost 30 lbs. since she stopped going to meetings. Needless to say, she goes every Weds. evening with me now! And when I get to Lifetime, I will continue to go to meetings every week. I have promised myself that from day one.

I also wanted to welcome all the new & returning people to this thread! YOU CAN DO THIS!

I have been very bad over the holidays and through yesterday (just back from WDW last night). I am so motivated to finally lose this last 10 lbs. that has been sticking around since July! I am going to recommit myself 110% to WW. And I am going to start exercising - something I haven't done yet in all this time on WW. My SIL is "loaning" us her treadmill indefinately - woo hoo! I have wanted one so badly, but we really cannot afford it right now. I did my first exercising today too actually - the Leslie Sansone walking DVD. It felt great!

I am a bit scared of Weds. night's WI. But, whatever it is - I deserve it after being quite a bit off plan for the past few weeks. Onward & downward - I am NOT buying another Season Pass at WW!

Not that I disagree with whatever WW plan works for any individual ;) , I am a 2 year WW online success story! :sunny: Never attended a meeting. Joined 1/12/04. Lost 72 lbs in 11 months and have been maintaining ever since (lost a few more in early maintenance too). :teeth: So, whether you're doing meetings, or orline, or at-home, or on your own, I think it's safe to say that WWs are successful! ::yes:: :goodvibes :cool1:

Congrats to ALL the LOSERS here! Starting a New Year with New WWs on the WISH board is always fun and exciting! Onward and Downward everyone! :hyper:

Well, well, well, this WW WISH veteran is pretty humble TODAY! :guilty: I was UP 1.5 lbs this morning! :crazy2: I deserve it I know, after the almost free-will eating I did over the holidays, so now it's back to what I know. ::yes:: Better to catch 1.5 lbs than to let it get to 5, 10, 50 lbs! :faint:

How's everyone else doing? :confused3

I know I haven't been here in a while but life was crazy with training for the 1/2 marathon, then tapering for it (and gaining weight! UGH!) and then getting home and back into a routine. I was thrilled to see that I was down 4 pounds this week, even though I know last week's number was high.

Today was my first weigh in after registering and I lost four pounds this week! I'm so happy to see the loss. I was on plan all week, and even though I ate all my allowance points, the program still works! Woo Hoo!

I am back after being away for a while. I went to WI last week and had gained 5 pounds since Thanksgiving week. I was truly surprised it wasn't more than that with the Holidays and two trips to WDW. I went back to daily journaling and was happy to have my WI this week with a 5 pound loss. So now I am ready to lose "new" pounds. It is also helping that DH is counting points with me.

Keep up the great work everyone. This is going to be a great year.

Down another 2.2 pounds :cool1: Making my total weight loss so far while on Weight Watchers 10.4 pounds.
