WW Weekly Weigh In--- Part 2

luvsJack, don't give up on yourself! I know how hard it is to get back on program once you let it slip. I had two difficult weeks myself, there were just so many social events and I find it difficult not to eat when food is sitting in front of me... But Mary Ann is right: you just need to leave this week behind you. Just start again! And do go to weigh in! I know exactly how you are feeling. I avoid the scale when I feel that I put on weight. But think of it this way: if you have gained now, you will be really pleased if you lost all or even some of it next week. If you don't weigh in this week, but next week your weight is still the same as at your last weight or even a bit more, you will be more disappointed... Hope this makes sense! I wish you all the best that you will get back onto the program!!

First off congradulations on your new grandchild. She a wonderful moment in your life.

OK let's get down to business. You admit you have no idea if you have had a gain or how much. What is the worst that it can be you've gained back your original loss and maybe some more. It doesn't matter, you acknowledge it, you move on. Don't let this moment in time become a 50 lb weight gain. You can do this. Get on the scale, acknowlge the moment no matter what it will be and move on.

You know what I did yesterday, I ate 51 pts. At one point, I was eating like a druken sailor and you know what when I got up this morning I said to my husband, I felt like i had a hang over. I hadn't had one drop of liquor (heck I'd rather eat my points then drink 'em) but you know what I charted every one of them. Ate all my daily points yesterday (ya think!) and a good part of my weekly's but you know what so maybe I'll be up on the scale Thursday. It is not going to stop me from going to my meeting and weighing in. Today, I got up-- ate normal (Ok I did drop down to weight loss pt vs. maintenance pts) and went to the gym and earned 7 Activity Pts. It's all about giving and taking. Move forward, don't stop. This program works.

Don't worry about the ladies and the scales, who cares what they think. It's what you think about yourself that is more imporatant. you are facing your situation and building upon it. Go shopping and buy on program foods for the week. Prepare them, build in some "ww friendly treats" don't deprive yourself. Hell with everything I ate yesterday, I made sure I've got 2 pts left today for my WW treat.

Good luck to you. Go weigh in and report back here. Not one of us will say "there she goes again" we'll all be saying "Good for her, she's working the program, no matter what"

Thank you, thank you. :flower3: Your words are just what I needed. I think I just needed to know I am not the only one that this can happen to. Sometimes I guess we all feel like the only ones that fail.

And you are right. Even if I have gained all of it, its better than waiting 6 months and then have a 50 lb gain instead of a 4 lb gain! That's how I got myself in this mess to being with.

Starting out well this morning and I am going to weigh in at 6 this evening. (wish I could go this morning but dd has Bible school this week and will get home right in the middle of the meeting). Good news or bad I will report back into to y'all.

Thank you!!

Makes perfect sense! And you are right. If I had gone to weigh in last week, I probably wouldn't be in such a funk about it this week because it wouldn't look so bad. But I am back on track this morning and its full steam ahead!!

Thank you are the encouraging words, ya'll were just what I needed this morning to get me back on track!

Hey everybody! I haven't been on here in a while and really need & want to get back on track after Disney & the dining plan!!!! We had a GREAT time and really enjoyed the dining plan. My VERY, VERY favorite was Ohana ~ the pork dumplings...yummmmmmmmy!!!!!!!!!:banana::banana:

Well my WI day is Tuesday, so I weighed in Tuesday, we left the following Saturday and were gone 10 days. I got home Monday and went to WI Tuesday. I was up 2.8 lbs. I guess it could have been worse! :confused3 I weighed myself at home the morning we left and Tuesday morning after getting home and by my scale I was up just a little over 1 lb, which I didn't think was too bad. I also know that the week we left was bad due to just trying to get everything done & ready. Last week....well, that wasn't too great either with just getting home and then having the 4th of July. Today, I'm REALLY trying to get back on track. I need to do this and finish this journey for myself! I've, so far lost 42 lbs, which I'm happy with, but I really need/want to loose about 15 lbs more.

I'm really going to try to get into the habit of loggin on here daily! I would love to get involved with a group to hold me a little more accountable!

Thanks for listening! :flower3:

Hi everyone!

Weighed in today for week two of weight watchers...

I lost 2.6 pounds!!!! :banana::banana::banana::cool1::cool1::cool1::dance3::dance3::dance3:

I lost 3.6 lb. this week! I was just hoping to get rid of the 1.2 I gained last week! Of course, we're leaving Friday for WDW, so I'll probably gain next time. I'm down 12.4 total. Just .1 away from my 5% goal!

Great to hear that you are back on track!! I actually gained one pound last week and while it was horrible to write that in, I knew what caused it and was determined to not go further in that direction! I am hoping that I will be rewarded on Wednesday with a loss!

Good to hear that you had a wonderful trip! You have already lost an impressive amount of weight! :thumbsup2 Good luck with the last 15 pounds. Logging on here daily really helps me to keep on track! Or at least keep tracking what I am eating! :goodvibes

Congratulations to both of you!! Ms.yt, you were so desperate in the beginning, but it looks like WW is really working for you! Have a wonderful trip to WDW! :goodvibes

Congrats to those whose weigh in today was positive.

I am continuing to work out and to watch what I eat. I don't see a change in the scale but I am treking on.

WOW, I consider a 2.8 pounnd gain for 10 days at WDW ON the dining plan (followed by a holiday) a SUCCESS. :thumbsup2 I bet half that disappears right away just with water weight. Jump back on plan and that gain will vanish in no time.

.

Oh, I forgot to say.....down .5 this week, hit my 15 pound mark! :woohoo:

I have 60 days till my week at WDW and cruise. I'd like to see another ten pounds gone by then. I expect I'll be spending the rest of September recovering from two weeks of a more relaxed diet, but I'm fine with that. I actually think all the fish I'll be eating on the cruise will start the recovery from a few desserts and a Dole Whip (or two) that I'm planning for the WDW portion of this adventure. Then....there's all that walking!

.

Congratulations to all the "losers" so far this week. I am dreading my weigh in on Wednesday. I was not that good over the holiday! popcorn::

Ok, the verdict is in: I am up 1 1/2 pounds. Not good but not as bad as I feared!

So after weighing in, I took the good advice and went straight to Walmart. My kitchen is filled with things I can eat that are low in points. I also got some 0 pts soups (Progressive) so if I have a day of too many points for lunch, I have a choice for supper instead of saying "well, I already went over and I have to eat something." Somehow that phrase ends up with me eating enough points for 2 days!!

I am geared up and ready to go! New and healthy Grandma: here I come!!

Hello WW friends, I just found this site as I have started the WW points program. My mom did the program and passed on a lot of information to me. I am not "paying" for the online or meetings. Was wondering if anyone is in my situation as well? I am following guidelines to stay at 20 points a day. The first week I lost 3lbs. What is a normal weight loss per week? I am going to go back and read a lot of these posts for good ideas. I also found a great website for looking up restaurant points it's called Dotti's Weight Loss Zone.

Thanks! :goodvibes

After the first 3 weeks, it's not a good idea to lose more than 2 lbs per week. You lose more the first few weeks because it's a lot of water weight...

Good luck!

Forgot to post last week my great news BELOW 200LBS, which was my 1st goal towards our Sept. vacation!!!! I can not tell you how great I felt! I lost 2.4 pounds this last week! Well now I am on vacation camping, and lets just say I am not keeping track of the points...gave up after day two, but I am trying to be concious of what I am eating, lots of fruit and vegetables and healthy dinners, but I'm sure that the lack of constant exercise will get to me next week when I get home and get on the scale! Hope everyone is have a great week!!
Starting Weight 220.8
Last Wed Weight..197.2!!!!
On to the 2nd goal of losing 30lbs before my vacation in Sept!!!

Just wanted to jump on real quick before bed. I had my WI today and I maintained. I'm happy with that. I totally expected some gain with the 4th and trying to get back into a routine after getting home from WDW. Our leader gave us a challenge for this week....to eat all 5 fruits/veggies each day. That's our "theme" for the month of July. Today I did great! Got all fruits & veggies in. I know, I know, it's only the first day, but ~ hey ~ it's a start! :thumbsup2

I could not believe what I saw this morning: I am down 3.5 pounds since last week!! :woohoo: I have been struggling these last two weeks, even gained some weight last week! It is so wonderful that things are moving again! I am now only three pounds away from my 10% goal, which I hope to reach by August 19 when I will go on a mini trip to Denmark with my mother!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! :cool1: It's always great to see an unexpected loss! A trip to Denmark sounds like a great reward! Have fun!
