I weighed in this morning and I am down 0.4 pounds. That's a bit dissapointing since I was down a lot on Saturday but somehow regained it again. I actually think it is due to the time of the month, but still it would have been nice to still have the weight I had on Saturday!!

Next week will be better!!
On a better note: went shopping yesterday and I am officially down one size!!
Your clothes tell the real story. I was able to "see" my loss the first time I let myself shop.
I am a harper about the scale. Try to stay off of it from WI to WI. Your body weight can fluctuate from day to day. What you eat, the humidity, TOM, stress and the time you WI all change your daily weight. It can be so disappointing to see a loss on Saturday and then on Monday you are not at that weight. Worse, a gain on Saturday can lead to a binge on Sunday when all along your body was only hanging on the the soy sauce in your chicken teriyaki.
I was down 2 more and made my first WW 5% goal. I'm one pound away from my WISH 15 pound clippie!

You can always count on Ruby's to be able to stay OP!
Okay, NOW I am finally signed up for WW, after last week's debacle when they couldn't sign up my fast pass there. I'm sitting here with a diet soda beside me as I type. (If you knew me, you would know this is a MAJOR life change for me!

) I have a goal weight, a 5% target -- all of that laid out now. I'm ready to lose!??!
Two foods that were suggeted today as tasting good are:
Mr. Krispies Baked Rice Krisps and Hawaiian Punch Sugar-Free Lemon Berry water flavoring
Awesome! One challenge overcome and on the right path!
Hi I joined WW at the beginning of the month and was not really focused however over the last week or so I have been working out for about an hour and sticking to my points. I weighed in today and am down 2.4 lbs.
Good Job!
I weighed in today for the 5th week. I lost 1.8 pounds for a total of 15.2 pounds lost!

I still have 35 more to go but I'm feeling good so far.

It's scary and liberating at the same time. I get 4 more points a day on maintenance, which seemed like a LOT at first, but I've been over every single day, and dipping into my 35. I am AFRAID to gain weight since it took me so long to take it off. I'm hoping that fear will last a lifetime. I think WW is like AA- you have to continue to attend the meetings forever since I don't think you get "cured" from overeating, the same way you are never cured from alcohol.
I am with you on the meetings. I missed yesterday becasue DD was in surgery but I will not miss the next! Keep on posting to keep the rest of us motivated!
weighed in today. up 1 lb!!

Oh, well time to look at my daily journals and figure out where I went wrong and push a bit harder next week to get where I want to be!
Don't get discouraged. My leader told us that there really is no such thing as all losses every week. Reality gets in the way of the lovely vision of losing it as fast as it found you
Hi everyone, I just found this thread, and it makes me very happy!
I joined WW online 6 weeks ago with a friend in another state and we're keeping each other honest. I did the full meeting version a few years ago and it worked well for me, the problem was cost, and most importantly, motivation. Tina and I both have big trips planned for the fall (9 days at WDW for me!) so that's my goal time frame. My 10% goal is 23 lbs, so anyone who can do the math can see I have a ways to go before ever reaching maintenance. But I know I'll make it one day.
So far I'm down 8 lbs with more to come. This is the first week where I haven't had that hungry monster lurking over my shoulder the whole time. In fact, I still have 4 pts left I have to eat tonight, so I think I see a treat coming!
Good luck to us all!

Heather- the long term goal is not important. Focus on your short term goals, they are attainable and you will feel amazing each time you reach one. That 10% goal is the one that your entire body feels so good! Healthwise it is very important so just look at that one, you are well on your way!
ladies, a little OT but I want to share my DD's surgery with you. Marisa and I, along with my DDIL go to WW together and we all are in this togehter.
Marisa is like Heather, she has a way to go before making that weight goal but at 50 pounds she is well on her way. She was taking some pretty strenuous classes at the gym adn was getting so much stronger and really well toned. SHe tore up hr knee pretty badly though and yester she had it repaired. But not completely. The Dr called me and let me have it. He insists that Marisa step up her weight loss even faster than she has been going but now can never do impact exercize again.
He said that women increase their chances for a total knee replacement by a significant % with every 20 pounds over their normal weight. He then emphasized how many times over that was for my DD.

AS a parent I am feeling the responsibility for my part in her health habits, they are on my shoulders.
Please, all of you. Do not give up this path that we are all on in WW. Marisa is 32 and if she does not really continue to lose the Dr told me her knee will be replaced in under 6 years. If she is lucky. We are worth the time, the energy and the expense and trhe inconvenience to our skinnier family members. Incidentally, in one more unfair Mother Natue mocve.....men do not suffer the same consequences of being over weight.
