I have a question - I've only eaten 10.5 points today :scared1: but I've eaten a lot of food! Here is a list of what I've had (and the points) and tell me if its a good meal day, or if I should be eating more stuff thats higher in points. I also get on the treadmill for 45 minutes in the morning, and get outside to walk about 1.5 miles at night.

Breakfast:
Cup Cottage Cheese
Handfull of Granola
Handfull of Blueberries
5.5 Points

Lunch:
Baby Carrots
Hummus
Grilled Zucchini (SO YUMMY)
1.5 Points

Dinner:
Grilled chicken breast - thin slice
Grilled Zucchini
1.5 Points

Snacks:
Weight Watchers Yoguert
Handfull of Blueberries
Handfull of granola
2 points

TOTAL: 10.5 POINTS

TIA! :flower3:

That is WAAAAAY to low, regardless of whether you have been working out. You are literally starving yourself. You may have also eaten more points than you realized. I'm not sure your totals are accurate- you may want to start weighing and measuring everything.

Your body needs a minimum of 18 or 20 pionts to lose weight safely. Remember, WW is not a diet, it is a lifestyle. If you make it too restrictive, you will fall off the wagon. You need to make changes you can live with long term.

I agree...and the big thing I also remember that a leader told me...the lower the points you lose on, the lower the points you maintain on. I don't want to have to maintain on 15 pts a day, or whatever, so I eat each and every one of my points and daily AP I earn...and most of my WPA.

Definitely not enough POINTS!!! You need to eat ALL of your daily allowence and even some portion of your Flex points to have long-term success. If you are exercising you should be eating some of your exercise points too. By eating so little points you are virtually starving your body.

Thanks all for your imput. First of all, I just want to say that I totally know that my points intake was way to low, but I 100% did not starve myself! I was so full after dinner I could barely get up to take the kids to the park!! I mean, yes, chicken and zicchini have very low points, but that doesn't mean that I didn't eat a good amount of it, KWIM?
Anyway, thanks again for all your imput, I think today I'm going to take the kids to the mall, and maybe I'll pick up a Starbucks Chai there - thats about 5-6 points right there!!

I agree with OP...not only are the pts. too low but I think your calculations may be a bit off. It's hard to measure a handfull....but the chicken alone should be higher pts....unles your only ate a tiny bit.
The "starving" everyone is speaking of...means your body thinks it is being starved, whether you feel hungry or not. I had my pts. too low and started an agressive exercise routine and gained 3 lbs. Once I increased my points and added more protein to my diet....I started losing again! You may be sabotaging yourself.
