WW challenge, week 4, this is going to be fun!!!

Good morning,
How did everyone do on the exercise challenge??? I hope well. I certainly got out and walked more than I had been and it felt great.

a recap of our challenges
wk 1. stay in points, journal everything
wk 2. drink your water
wk 3. exercise challenge

Now onto week 4. Since we have been doing a bunch of things for our physical health, how about something for our emotional health? The challenge this week is to treat yourself everyday to something special! We have worked very hard, and deserve a treat!

Week 4 is Pamper yourself week!!!!
 
I have neglected my appearance for so long, that I am challenging myself to do something everyday for me! Makeup, paint my nails, new hairstyles, maybe a new shirt next week, etc. Also I will have a bubblebath in candlelight.
 
oh Vija - you are AWESOME!!! what a super super great idea!!!! I will tell my DH all about it today so when I schedule a massage he won't be upset!!

Actually I painted my nails last weekend for the first time probably since last summer! I need to do that more often!

ohhhh, the possiblities are endless.................
 
Now with my injury, I can really use this challenge! :)
I need to go shopping Sat for my FL trip, new swimsuit! Then I will paint my nails, get some rest, sleep in....the things I haven't been doing!

Wow, looks like I joined WW and Wish just in time! :teeth:

Seriously, I don't think I've been doing this long enough to deserve real "pampering", but I think I will make an appointment Friday to get a hair cut and color. (Gotta cover up that gray!)

You know, I already feel better about myself just for taking this first step of doing WW.
 
I've been thinking for 2 weeks or well Easter weekend actually I needed to paint my nails - this week is it!

I did start the challenge yesterday, treated myself to a 1 hour body massage! Heavenly........did nothing when I got home either, just wanted to savor the relaxation. And, got some advice too - therapist said to start stretching the hamstrings more, so guess that is on the list to be better to myself too, I would hate to have an injury down the road.

But promise to do this challenge justice this week! Good idea, Princess!
 
Thanks for this challenge this week, it really couldn't have come at a better time. It is a shame that we have to make ourselves do something good for us. I am going to paint my toenails and call for a hair trim. Have a great week everyone!
 
OHHHHHHHHHHHH THIS is an easy one!!!! I usually try to read or stich everyday anyway!!! Maybe I will have to be more religious about my hair makeup and nails or something!!! I am gettting my hair permed again on Sunday so That day is taken care of!!
 
So what is everyone doing???

Yesterday I went to bed early! I loved that,
today I will paint my nails with DD.
 
Yesterday, I worked really late and DH was out of town, so I treated myself & DD to dinner out. Stayed well within my points, but no cooking was really great!

Tonight, I think I will just take some time to R & R in front of the tube and maybe flip through a magazine I bought the other day.

Tomorrow, I am going to take a half day off and have my hair cut and colored!! I may have time to shop a little before picking my DD up from school, too.

Yep! I think I have mastered this pampering thing pretty well!:D
 
I just scheduled an extended (65 min) body massage!! oh yea! couldnt' work out a good time until a week from Tues, but I'll be working out hard so I'll be looking forward to it!

I touched up my nails too, instead of just taking off the polish! tomorrow DDs and I may go see Lizzie McGuire.

I'm still not sure if I have the hang of this pampering thing so I'm just gonna keep trying:smooth:
